   My husband and I visited the Taqueria located in Broadway for the first time on 6/29/19. As soon as we arrived the waitress gave us a table but before we could even sit down she was asking us if we wanted guacamole, she asked us twice, confused I told her to let us sit down first and than we decide. we sat down she brought us tortilla chips and water than the menu...but a min later came back to ask us what we wanted to drink, when we finally managed to read the menu and order the drinks, which by the way have weird names, she came back and placed the drinks on the table without telling us what each drink was. we had to call her back so she could tell us what they were, she happened to give my drink to my husband and I got his. drinks were not that great, the taste of mine was awful, I couldn't drink it. we ordered the food, and the waitress messed up the orders, gave my husband the wrong food. we finally had enough and asked for the check, expensive food, than my husband placed the money on the bill folder, and i told him we not leaving yet let me used the bathroom, while i was getting up the waitress didn't wait to be called, came and grab the bill folder from the table and didn't even asked us if we needed change back, thank God we didn't. so in overall do not go to this place! service is horrible and food and drinks do not taste that great!

   What a find on the UWS. Food is authentic and flavorful. Service was friendly and fast, and the bar - where we had a nightcap - had a cool vibe. Perfect addition to the neighborhood. Went Monday for dinner and already talking about going back.

   I was a little underwhelmed by my experience here. I came with my family for dinner on a Friday night after work. First, we came during happy hour, but our waiter didn't inform us of it. It was only after my husband asked if they had any HH specials did the waiter inform us, after looking at his watch, of the drink specials. The frozen margaritas were really good! Second, the value definitely isn't worth it. Three tacos' for $18 is a bit much. The tacos were delicious. I had the shrimp and my husband had the steak and onions. It was really good. My son had the chicken tenders meal and he didn't like it. Actually, this was the first time that he hasn't eaten chicken tenders from a restaurant. The fries didn't have any salt and the chicken was bland. He barely ate his food! Overall, we felt the price point for three tacos was high. It should've been 3 for $12, at least during HH. Worst of all was the guac! I came especially for the guac, because if a place is called Guacamole, the assumption is the guac is REALLY good! Such a disappointment and waste of money. First of all, my husband and I were taken aback by how small it was. The guac only had onions. No tomatoes or salt! It had no taste. It was just smashed avocadoes! When we asked the waiter about the tomatoes, he said it was cut really small but it wasn't. We showed him a picture from their website of how they pictured the guac, with tomatoes, and he asked if the picture was taken from their website. For $14 I'd expect a bigger mortar pot. It's like you eat the few chips given then have to order more chips to finish your guac. So not worth it.

   The meal was $130 for 2 margaritas, 2 beers, chips and guacamole (which was bland and chips were stale), queso fundito (very oily), and chimichangas. The food and service was absolutely NOT WORTH the money. The server snapped at us for our orders! I couldn’t believe it. The man does not belong in hospitality. I never write these reviews, but want to SAVE you from this experience. Do not go!

   Came here with friends on 5 de mayo & supposed it was a good choice because of the festivity. However, nope it wasn’t at all. Upon arrival we received a very dry greet & when mentioning my reservation they repeatedly claimed I didn’t have one. I went on to mention it had been done via opentable & all of a sudden they found it on a separate system. Nowhere on their website had it said anything about brunch not being a thing on 5 de Mayo. The service was soo delayed & it almost seemed like our waitress was not even happy to serve us. I am HUGE on mexican food & this was unfortunately not authentic, drinks were okay. I will not be going back.

   food was good and the service was excellent - I will recommend the drinks and Burritos to all my friends and family

   I thought the Guacamole would be made in front of you like most Mexican spots so you can say how much spice you can take but that's not the case here and there is only one size no large or small . The food is good but i probably wont go again.

   Nice little gem...friendly and eclectic atmosphere. Nice comfort food with a bit of creativity. Will be back.

   When we arrived, the staff said that open table applied at their other restaurant in the 190’s Street location. Yet open table address what is clearly printed and that’s where we checked in. Service was very on attentive. And food was mediocre at best. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
