   Excellent service from the beginning. I think our waiter's name was Nicholas. The food was outstanding, as always. The views are unreal! I will continue taking friends and family to Grotto as it is a special and memorable experience Every time.

   Took my Mom there for Mother's Day and it was wonderful. Food, service, ambiance was all a joy and my Mom was more than pleased. Our server was particularly attentive.

   Always great service! Waiter was attentive. Food was over cooked this time. And waited longer than usual for food to come out of the kitchen. Did not taste as usual.

    Skyler was a wonderful waiter and made our experience so enjoyable! Cory the manager was so attentive and kind. Our meal was excellent as well! Thank you for an enjoyable Evening!

    It was extremely loud in the restaurant! I could barely hear the person next to me. One of our plates came out Luke warm at best. The servers were fantastic. There was no ambiance as it was so loud and couldn’t enjoy our meal to celebrate. Pretty disappointed over all with the temperature of the food and noise level. It was suppose to be an evening celebration and left without desert because it just wasn’t enjoyable.

    Another great family dinner out. It was a tad noisier than usual because they were hosting prom, but the food was just as excellent as always. Kids of course loved finishing their meal with cake!

    Our server Justin was friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. Our caprese salads and red snapper were fabulous. The dessert selection was very tempting but we left ourselves no room. The wedding reception noise level next door was our only complaint. The volume was too loud. Everything else was great and we will come back!

    Excellent Italian cuisine...the best shrimp al limone I've ever had. And a very good cioppino. Nice wine list and capable service. The space overlooks the pool which is atmospheric at night.

    We always enjoy dinner here but this time we didn't even get dinner. 250 later we had 2 pizzas, a few appetizers, a few drinks. Left disappointed.

    Everything about this place was great. We had a wonderful view of the water as well as the resort pool area. The food was fresh, pizza was enough for a group of 3 adults! The ambiance in the restaurant was very nice with great dinner music. Very good more upscale Italian restaurant. Our server was absolutely great super friendly, attentive, and personable.

    Best meal we've had in Galveston! Everything was very flavorful and in abundance. Compared to some very overpriced meals we've had this trip that we're not nearly as tasty I felt they were very reasonably priced.

    Everything was delicious. The bread and garlic olive oil yum, bolognese loaded with meat and very tasty, boyfriend has a shrimp and crab pasta dish he loved. Red sangria yum loaded with blackberries too.. dessert some yellow cake infused with deliciousness and topped with ice cream (was from the adjacent steakhouse not at Grotto. Our waiter (top notch Carlos) recommended that.

    Only one thing would have made our dining experience perfect. The tables were to close to one another. The room was crowed with tables and chairs. The dessert cart had to be very carefully maneuvered through the table and chairs. To be honest, had those other table been occupied I don't believe the dessert cart would have made it to our table. Upon finishing our wonderful meals with the wonderful service, I had to very carefully rise up out of my chair so as not to bump into the person sitting next to me at the next table. We were to first to arrive on time for our reservation and by the time we left there were about 4 other tables occupied. It made all of us wonder why did they seat a table of 3 right next to us. It just made all of us uncomfortable. Despite having wonderful meals with a fantastic server I don't think we will be back.
