We have been visiting the Grotto every time we are in AC (At least 5 times per year) and wish it would return to be open during the week as that is when we prefer to be in AC as it is quieter. We met Keith many years ago (waiter) and we request him every time if he is there. He is a gentelman, personable, attentive and a pleasure when he is able to service us. As far as we are concerned it is the best restaurant for it's ambiance, food and price quality. Like I mentioned just wish it was open more days during the week.

Our dinner experience was quite lovely. Our server was attentive. Chopped salad was fresh and tasty. Veal Marsala and Pork Chop were also good. Broccoli Rabe was tough but an alternate vegetable was brought without hesitation or charge. We very much enjoyed the Strawberry Casata for dessert. Would definitely dine there again and recommend.

The food came out cold and not to our liking. Definitely nowhere near Italian food or flavor. It was dark as far as lighting and you can smell the smoke from the casino while eating.

Excellent happy hour, excellent staff, excellent food. Sorry to hear the AC location is going out of business by May 2023. Read it's being replaced with another Landry's restaurant serving Tex Mex food.

Caprese was an embarrassment. 4 slices of hard tomatoes with mozzarella from a bucket with a pool balsamic water. Cavatelli with broccoli rabe and sausage soup? Had better at a diner. Second time there last time there. Chicken cutlet was great. Hard potatoes. Zero pride given on this meal. Over priced for what you get.

Over the years, Grotto has become a favorite spot of mine. Not only the food, but also the vibe is relaxed yet professional, and I've never felt rushed. This visit I went with the chopped salad (vs the Caesar) and really enjoyed it. (If I were to nitpick? I'd have liked another handful of lettuce.) Pizza, as always, was absolutely delicious with the thin crust and toppings. Offered grated cheese and hot pepper, but decided to go with it as prepared, and was not disappointed (I didn't even add black pepper). Decent wine list (not sure why it isn't on their web site) with something for just about every palate. Realize FF Coppola Winery was sold, but what happened to the netting on the Diamond Collection Claret (a sentimental favorite of mine)?

We have dined here a few times. The food is always good, as is the service. Unfortunately since Covid the restaurant is only open on the weekend. We would like to see it open more often as we are not always there on weekends.
