This is a favorite place of ours to visit in Noblesville. Great food and great atmosphere and great service to boot!
Great restaurant in downtown Noblesville. We have eaten there before and the food has been fantastic. Was in a party of seven and everyone loved their food. I was disappointed with my Mahi street tacos. The amount was abundant, but I thought them to be bland and the carrot straws in them were a problem. It was very loud but we were in a corner booth by the kitchen and seemed to get noise from every angle. The concerns were minor but worth mentioning. We will definitely return and recommend Grindstone to friends.
Food and service were good. We will be back to support local restaurants.
Met friends on Friday evening for dinner and drinks.
Easy to get to
Greeted right away, seated shortly after
Booth was in good location
We got 2 hours to just catch up.
We will definitely be returning! Our table was centered on the end by the kitchen so we heard a lot of crossing noise and watched all the traffic. It was kind of fun for us to see all the dishes come out as first time guests, but I’ll probably request a table upstairs next time we go. Looking forward to seeing the expansion!
Great service and great food!
Thanks for the kind feedback Nancy!
We have ate here about 5-6 times in the last year and everytime we have had excellent service and the food has never disappointed us at all. It’s alittle more than some chain restaurants but we are ok with the price for the quality and service we received

Our server, Jacob, was above and beyond with his affable nature and knowledge of menu. My husband had ribs and said they were perfect. I had a breaded tenderloin and believe this restaurant has the best in the state. Grindstone does a good job of social distancing and keeping the restaurant clean. This is one of my favorite restaurants and I’ve never had a meal I didn’t love, and it’s located downtown Noblesville, with lots of antique malls on the same street, which makes it a perfect lunch or dinner or dinner option.

The food is delicious, and you know there is a chef involved - the seasonal veggies were crispy brussels sprouts. Prime rib was delicious. And food was served hot and in a timely manner as were drinks, in spite of it being a crowded Friday night.
It's noisy, but we were able to carry on a conversation with another couple across the table without it being too difficult.
We thought the bar was pricy. Great Manhattan, but $14.
One of our favorite restaurants. Always friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. Menu is full of yummy dishes you want to come back for on a regular basis. Staff is always eager to make suggestions if you plan to try something new. We always run into others we know when we dine here, so we are not the only ones who keep coming back. Great experience. Of course, we will see you again soon.

The food was just “ok” for the price. The server was very attentive.I was unhappy that the host had deleted my open table after being seated and I had to contact customer service to get my 100 points for using the app.
We have never had a bad meal at Grindstone. Grindstone is a gem of a restaurant in downtown Noblesville.
Thanks for your kind feedback!
The food was average, but the service was less than desirable. The stuffed mushrooms were deep fried, leaving a thick coating of grease in your mouth.
The menu has great diversity. All four of us enjoyed our selections. This was a return visit so we knew what to expect & were not disappointed.
Thank you for the kind review! We appreciate your patronage.
It was an excellent experience!
Food was okay. I had high hopes for the chicken/noodle over mashed potatoes based on the photos and a friend's recommendation for another Grindstone location. Sadly, noodles waaay overcooked and in very tiny pieces. But the flavor was good, so I enjoyed it more as a creamy soup over potatoes.
Upstairs decor is so boring and the entire floor shakes EVERY time their main door opens/closes. So that was unsettling.
We will go back. I have hopes to enjoy the bar area, which looked much more inviting and entertaining.
Hope to see you back soon Brian. We would love another opportunity to create a most memorable experience for you.
The service and food were impeccable. It was chilly in the bar due to being over the cold air return. Our waitress did lean a menu up against the floorboard to divert some of the cold air. It was also very loud at first. One of the bar patrons was a very loud talker and the acoustics are not good with keeping that noise down. Otherwise a great evening!!
Thank you for the kind review! Hope to see you back in soon.
Always have a good experience at Grindstone Public house. Food was excellent, didn't have to wait long for dinner. Service was great.
Wonderful food! Great place will definitely return!
First time there and not sure what to order. Asked server for recommendations and she said “there’s a lot, I don’t know.” (Uuummm not helpful.) Food was good and I may go back based on that. But it was way too loud. I feel like they need to figure out how to dampen the noise a bit as it was hard to enjoy our meal.
First time in restaurant but will definitely be back soon. Had the scallops that were cooked perfectly with a light sauce but wrapped in bacon for extra flavor. The accompanying baked potato was also cooked just right and finished with a light coleslaw. Date had the salmon which she thought was also perfect. Place was full but also had a steady carry out business. We could see a second restaurant opening. Friendly place where all staff worked well together. Cozy, friendly, neighborhood ambiance. Looking forward to our next visit. Tip: get reservations!
The service was great and the food was amazing. Highly recommend this place.
The service is really hit and miss in this establishment. The food is/ was very tasty and most of the dinner plates are a decent value. I ordered an Old Fashioned, and the bartender smashed the lemon slice so severely that the drink was terrible, due to lemon pulp floating through every drink I took. Overall, nice local lunch/dinner spot!
We have gone to Grindstone a number of times and have always enjoyed the food and the staff is excellent. The fried chicken salad is my go to dish and it is amazing. My wife loves both the salad and the whiskey chicken.
Great food. Good service. Unfortunately the ambiance of the outdoor dining option was a bit underwhelming. Was expecting a patio type set up but in reality just a couple small tables on a narrow sidewalk.
Server was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and delivered in very timely manner. We were very satisfied.
The food was excellent, we had the prime rib (medium rare) and a full slab of ribs (half with bourbon sauce, half with peach bbq). Both meals were excellent, the sides were also very good, especially the brussel sprouts and the loaded mashed potatoes. For dessert, we had the key lime pie and the chocolate cake. The key lime was sweet and tart, excellent taste. The chocolate cake was rich, moist and delicious, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream that perfectly complimented the cake.
We'll definitely be coming back.
Saturday morning brunch was good, but a little pricey. $50 pre-tip for three people with no alcohol.
Wonderful food and service. But the light level is so dark and it is so loud in there. It was hard to have a conversation with my wife who was right across from me.
Our food was not hot when it arrived. Mashed potatoes were Luke warm and the same with my Mahi mahi. Perhaps the cold salsa made the fish Luke warm. My husbands mashed potatoes were also Luke warm. His burger was hot and my Brussels sprouts were hot. Overall taste of food was good just not hot enough. We did not complain. First time there. Might give it another try perhaps on a weekday.
I liked the food teal well. Coffee was a little expensive but I liked everything
Diverse drink and dinner menu. Nachos was a great start followed by a prime rib Manhattan that was good. Others liked the sliders and burger. We enjoyed the nice but casual service and vibe.
Grww w at Brunch and amazing service!
Can’t wait to come back again!
Food was amazing! Great service and trendy atmosphere! Highly recommend!
Great atmosphere! Delicious food and reasonable prices.
Always a fantastic meal at Grindstone Public House. Definitely recommend making reservations to ensure you get a table!
Great food and service. Monday was 1/2 priced wine. Great selection. Outdoor seating was a little noisy due to being next to street, but not bad. Will definitely go back when in the area.
We sat outside on the sidewalk in recently added COVID-19 seating. Service from our server Wendy was very good and the food was great however the ambient road noise from jacked up trucks and cars approaching and leaving the nearby stoplight disrupted the ambience a bit. Nothing the restaurant can control but something to be aware if if you have someone in your party who is hard of hearing. The restaurant has an above average number of bourbons on hand if you are into that type of thing. We’ll be back.
The food was great, and our waitress was wonderful!!
