Had wanted to give this a try for a while. Great service, Super friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks and food menu. It is a limited menu though. We had a kale Caesar salad and 4 pieces of chicken. The chicken was too quite heavily “breaded” and that made it too greasy for me, struggled to make it through one piece. Shame as it’s a great location and set up.
Severely understaffed. Took us 20 minutes to get menus
We just moved our son to Denver from Cleveland over the weekend and decided to have a spontaneous date night in our next-to-•last day in town. We spontaneously picked Grind and couldn’t be holier with our choice. Fun experience all around. Spectacular cocktails. On-point service with a terrific server. Don’t miss the Brussels sprouts app! And we loved our entrees and key lime pie dessert. Definitely will visit again when we return to Denver.
Great food. The fried chicken can’t be beat
The waitress was very nice but needed to write things down. She came back a couple of times to be sure and it took awhile to get the drinks!!
The food came out in a timely fashion and it is always great. We took our neighbors
there for always taking care of our house and or our dogs when we are not home.
Nice summer dinner on the patio.
Chicken both fried and baked were excellent.
Great and interesting Beer and Wine Lists too.
I had the honey chicken biscuit and OMG this was Ahmazing! Mimosas it the spot and I went home drunk! Thank you! HATS OFF TO YALL!!
Went for dinner, NEED to go back for brunch now! Fantastic fried chicken. I agreed with the 5280 recognition. My fiancé is from Oklahoma and I am from NC, so we know good southern/country comfort food and have a tough time finding southern food that exceeds our expectations!
Fiancé got a 4 piece plate with mashed potatoes. I had the fried chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese. We couldn’t stop eating and needed to be rolled out. True country fried chicken. The owners and cooks would know as they are from Alabama according to the waitress. Super fun and friendly atmosphere with a great drink selection. A bit pricey for southern comfort food, but it beats every other fried chicken we have had in Denver and you can walk it off afterward with a stroll around the Cherry Creek shopping area.
Only negative: The fried pickles were a lot of batter and my PERSONAL preference is to have less fried batter.
Lea was a fantastic server! She was available at the right time and did not hover over us. She is very knowledgeable about the beer list which is amazing if you are a craft beer person. The food was super tasty and super approachable. We will be back again.
It was brunch, they were super busy which is great! Probably short staffed due to covid - but took and hour to get food. Once we got food it was very delish! Highly recommend just don’t be in a hurry
I absolutely loved Kathleen. She was so fun. We loved her bubbly personality!!
Happy Hour....great food and drinks!!!
Came for Father’s Day with my dad and daughter.
While the food was good, it took an hour to receive and when we were asking what the beer of the day was, we were given a Modelo instead of being told and offered.
The food and service were fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lovely hidden gem in Cherry Creek. I have never met such a welcoming staff and the fried chicken is superb.
In town for daughter’s graduation. Stopped in here for brunch and liked it so much we came back for an early dinner the same day! Food was amazing, to say the least. We had fried chicken, hush puppies, burger, chicken sandwich, and pulled pork sandwich. Each one as good as the others! Ambiance and staff were equally fantastic. An absolute must visit. We will be back every time we return to town!
Great beer selection. Great fried chicken! Friendly helpful staff!
Had dinner on Saturday night
Deviled eggs & happy hour margarita were fantastic
The fried chicken was excellent & tasted fresh
The service was excellent & the only drawback is the limited menu.
One of the best brunches we’ve had and will absolutely recommend to our friends ! That fried chicken is quite unreal 🤯
Everything we’ve tried has been perfect. Service is always great, drinks are always on point and the food is amazing! Definitely recommend!
Great Food! Love the Smoked treats!
Imaginative and creative menu, can't wait to try other items.
Service was slow, particularly for the few number of other diners in view.
Maybe this is COVID staffing, or something to be more concerned abt
if returning during a busier rush... it is Southern food afterall,
maybe it's the Southern speed of service too ;)
Food was delicious our server attentive and we weren’t rushed. Great girlfriend brunch
We have passed this place for years and finally gave it a try - and wow have we missed out for so long ! The food is incredibly tasty, servings are generous, adult beverage options are great, and the service is fantastic ! The fried chicken is the best in town, as are the mac and cheese and the salads. Anyone who thinks they’ve had a great fried chicken sandwich needs to reassess: this one tops all. A huge bonus is that this is a family owned family run business that supports their staff - we will be back again and again and hope to see this place succeed wildly ! thank you GRIND for restoring our restaurant faith !
Some of the best fried chicken!
Always a good time at Grind. Food and staff doesn’t disappoint.
Great Southern-inspired fare: I had the chicken + biscuit for breakfast....YUM! Super tender, great flavor, and not overly breaded. My companions all loved their meals, as well. Service was a bit slow, but that's not unusual in this post-pandemic world. They were open at 9am on a Sunday, so it's a great place for breakfast when you don't want to wait for brunch elsewhere!
Great martinis and deviled eggs!
Great lowkey cozy atmosphere. Very nice staff and wonderful food. The chicken sandwich with hot sauce...yep.
Fantastic, as always!
Hidden gem. Great HH menu.
The food at The Grind is special. Chef Preston is amazing; we always enjoy our food and experience at The Grind. Highly recommend!
Love the food chicken pot pie was great and the brussels sprouts small plate excellent. Service was friendly and nice and the vibe was laid-back
We absolutely loved this place! The fried pickles and Brussel sprouts were delicious appetizer. For dinner I had the pot pie and my husband had the club fried chicken sandwich, we couldn’t get enough! It was all delicious. The bartender was super nice and really made sure we enjoyed our experience. We’ll be back!
Our server was awesome! Great beer selection and solid food!
Great spot that has a niche in delicious food that leans towards soul food and bbq. Unpretentious despite its location. Extensive beer and cocktail list. Fried chicken doesn’t disappoint. Will definitely be back.
We’ve been waiting to get back to Grind Kitchen. Everything that we knew and loved from before the pandemic is back and just as great as ever! I had the chicken pot pie with the puff pastry. Delicious 👍🏻⚾️My husband had the four piece fried chicken with the mashed potatoes and gravy and gave it 👍🏻👍🏻and ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! We are happily looking forward to eating with Grind often this summer.
The food here is incredible. The waitstaff and service is inconsistent but it is worth it, especially for their chicken.
We had a 1:00 pm brunch reservation for Mother's Day. Food was pretty good although it took 45+ minutes to be delivered after ordering. Service was poor (waitress was inattentive and spilled water and later coffee on the table w/out apologizing or cleaning the spills up).
