Grille620 Ratings and Reviews
The last time I was at Grill 620, the food was good but the service was really bad for such good food. I am glad I went back. This time Zack delivered great service to match the food. We started with a dozen oysters on the half shell, four of each of the available varieties. The sauces with the oysters were great but the oysters were so fresh we wanted to taste them and not cover the flavor with sauce. The soup of the evening was a black bean with chicken. It had a nice after bite that added to the flavor. My companion had the scallops. They were large, grilled just right and had wonderful flavor. The accompanying mushrooms were over-the-top good. I had the tuna. It was beautifully plated and was delicious. Word to the timid, the perfectly prepared peppers that accompanied the tuna were hot! The plate would have benefited from something to balance the fire. We shared a chocolate chip bread pudding that was just too good to stop eating. With each bite we both swore it would be our last, but then we took another. Soon it was gone so we stopped. Coffee was delivered in a French press pot that made refills very easy. Our cocktails were enjoyable. Zach kept the meal perfectly paced and he was attentive.
Went for brunch. The crab and artichoke dip was delicious and easily filled up 2 people. We really didn't need our entrees. I took my delicious 620 omelette home. It was beautiful and my one bite was yummy. I can't wait to have it as a leftover. My husband's fish and chips we're very good. Next time he will ask for the coleslaw in a separate dish but other than that we have nothing to complain about. Britney did a great job keeping my diet Pepsi glass filled and was very attentive.
Grille620 has been a favorite of ours since it opened. The food was very good then and it's just getting better. The butcher block bone-in ribeye is amazing and their bacon brussel sprouts are good enough to make me actually enjoy eating brussel sprouts (which I have disliked for all of my life). Great wine selection too.
Excellent restaurant for those either gluten challenged or going Paleo! So many options!!!! A very pleasant discovery. The chef is a creative genius that understands how to marry flavors, and make the most of what is plated. Highly recommend! Chelsea was fabulous and attentive. So sweet and incredibly respectful, and it was very clear she wanted to provide the best possible service.
My wife and I have been trying to dine here for some time. We really enjoyed our dining experience. We chose to sit in the bar area where there are 6 large screens, but the noise was tolerable. Katie was a wonderful server. We had the brie appetizer and the only thing lacking was more crisps and we were provided those in rapid order. My wife had the scallops and I had the risotto and both were excellent. The portions were just right, not overwhelming were provided in timely fashion. We shared a side of grilled asparagus which tasted great, but it was a little bit over salted which was our only criticism of our experience. Great place to dine.
The food was wonderful as was the service; Mario, our server, is a consummate professional. He substituted at no charge grilled zucchini for the potato wedges that would have come with my racks of lamb special. We started with a split wedge salad that was perfect in its crunch and classic accompanyments- blue cheese dressing, bacon bits and ripe red cherry tomatoes. I wrote racks of lamb because my "butcher block" special had four meaty sets of chops and each was prepared exquisitely- seasoned with a nice dry rub and cooked to medium rare. The side of grilled asparagus was, like the zucchini, crisp yet tender and full of flavor. My spouse had the crabcake sandwich and it was a nice take on a traditional Maryland favorite- unique, but not too much so. The shoestring fries that accompanied the sandwich alone were worth coming to dinner- they are special! We skipped dessert but finished with a nice pot of French press coffee. A very enjoyable meal at a cozy and warm table on a cold winter's night. I will note, the restaurant was packed and I was glad we had a reservation! Because it was crowded, both the dining room and the bar, it was more noisy than we had come to expect. Still, it created a lively atmosphere. This is probably our favorite upscale restaurant in Howard County now.
We’re local so this is a nice find in the backdrops of Turf Valley. Service is always excellent and the food is excellent. Shy towards the seafood, however, their steaks are good - just not great.
Drinks are moderately priced and their bar/lounge area is small, but cozy. The ambiance is darker in color and light, which adds a romantic element and/or upper classed styled hue to the dimension.
Consistantly wonderful. Our waitress was spot on, there when we needed her . The food was great, fresh and generous portions. I love Grill 620 because it is the perfect place for every occassion. Birthday celebration, date night, brunch with friends, happy hour, etc. We will definitely be back.
I’m sounding like a broken record in my reviews for Grille620 but it is one of my favorite restaurants! From the cocktails to the starters to the entrees to the desserts, it’s the full package. Delicious all around!! And Mario, if you read this, just know that your professionalism and attention to every detail of our dining experience isn’t lost on us. Thanks for always going the extra mile!!
We arrived a little early and our table wasn't ready but there was room in the bar so we sat there. Alex the bartender/waiter was exceptional. Constant smile and very attentive without be intrusive. Kale salad always outstanding! It was a little loud in the bar mostly due to a few boisterous guests.
