Service was impeccable and the food was great!
What a wonderful experience. The server (Alex?) was superb! Started with delicious cocktails and appetizer (calamari with peppers) before we ordered wine and dinner. We all had a seafood dish (I had the tuna) and all four of us raved about the flavors.
This was our first time dining at Grille620. It was a solid experience. Service was a little slow and lacking initially, but improved as our meal went on. Generally, the portions are large (which is great), but would have appreciated some guidance on that when my pre-teen daughter ordered an appetizer special and a steak. She and I could have split the appetizer. Three of us got steaks which were tasty and cooked perfectly. The two in our party had seafood dishes and were pleased with them (except the risotto was not a large portion and my 20-year old son was still hungry after that). The restaurant is pretty loud (during prime time on a Saturday night), but we enjoyed ourselves.
Have eaten here many times before this was the first time we sent a dish back due to being undercooked. It was the scallops, they were very apologetic and brought out a new dish as soon as possible. All in all it was a good experience and we will return, everyone has a off night.
Everything was wonderful. Would definitely eat there again. I loved the fact that I can make reservations.

They have the best servers which makes the whole dining experience completely different I think. We had Collin and he was outstanding. Last time we had Zach and thought he was the best server, well looks like Grille620 has all the bet servers in town.
My husband and I both had the 620 Omelet. Delicious ! Generous serving of seafood tucked into this beauty with perfect cheese blend, topped with a hollandaise sauce and a little old bay seasoning. Yummy. The potatoes on the side were perfectly crispy and not drowning in oil. Even the ketchup is tasty. The tables are a little too close to each other and the noise level is high but the food and service make up for it !

Our waiter, Collin, was amazing. We were celebrating my husband‘s birthday and our second oldest son had just returned from college the day before. It was the first time our entire family has been together since Christmas. Wonderful, wonderful dining experience!

Service was slow, coffee for one is 3.50 for a French press no problem but it was too much for me so I shared the rest and was charged for it, ridiculous. Save your money go elsewhere expensive and not worth it
I made reservations with OpenTable for myself and two wonderful girlfriends to catch up as it’s been a long time since we’ve gotten together..... we picked Grille 620 as we wanted a great meal, outstanding service & and atmosphere with good energy.....Safe to say this restaurant has consistency in all of the above… It was a wonderful night 🍴💓

I was disappointed with my meal as the server stated it was a little spicy which is what I wanted. My entree was brought to the table long before the appetizer was finished and I had to send it back which was a little frustrating.
I was prepared to not come back but changed my mind when approached by the service person who acknowledged the food issue although I did not request to speak with him. It made me feel that they were cared about my experience. He provided 2 complimentary desserts as an apology.
I look forward to another visit and hopefully better food experience.
Absolutely excellent service. Our server, Zach, had only been working there for three days and we never would have known. Our meal was served hot and timely and our bottomless mimosas were plentiful. We look forward to returning.
Went for Easter Sunday brunch. Were seated right away and given long menus with lots of choices among brunch, lunch and appetizer items. Ordered the crab dip and calamari as appetizers- both were excellent. Waitress awkwardly leaned over/reached past us several times throughout the meal. Entrees were also very good. I had crab cake benedict and companion had shrimp & grits. Mimosas were tasty and plentiful. Would definitely go back.
This semi-quaint little beauty is a gem! The food is delicious! I had the 620 seafood omelette and French toast - so yummy. And my husband raved about the shrimp and grits. Our server Tammy was outstanding and the manager, Joe is a top reason why we will return! This guy knows how to create a great experience for guests!

As always, super slow service. A 3 hour ordeal every time. Food is great though.
Food was great. Atmosphere was lovely. Waitress was attentive. There was a mix-up in communication between the hostess and the servers, so initially no one came to serve us. Eventually, they figured it out and the server was very apologetic. She got us a free dessert for our inconvenience. In the end, it all worked out.
Every single thing we ordered was AMAZING. The streak strips and brie; seafood trio and risotto; the desserts. seriously. what sorcery? Excellent and extremely helpful staff - Garrett recommended I get the seafood trio and I'm pretty sure I owe him my life now. That's how it goes right? anyway, go here.

First time with friends and pleasantly surprised. Pretty packed and everyone liked all of their meals. Beer on tap selection wasn't the best but from the soups to dinners to sandwiches to desserts - we got a variety and everyone was very positive. The French pressed coffee was really really good! and got a visit from the manager which happens rarely these days.
I selected one of the specials - halibut with cream sauce and aoli. Unfortunately, the aoli had southwestern seasoning which I do not like. I would not have selected that entree if I had been informed.
This was our first visit. We had attempted to go to the restaurant in the past without a reservation. This time we got lucky. We did a reservation through Open Tables at 5:30p.m. on a Sunday and got lucky because there were only two slots left for a 6:30p.m. same day reservation. The meal and service was topnotch! Even the manager came out to greet us by last name while at the restaurant. Food was cooked to perfection. We will definitely return and list Grille 620 as another one of our favorite restaurants in the Ellicott City/Columbia area!
We would not return. Some didn’t care for their food and it was the least accommodating restaurant we have been to in years. Their motto, ABSOLUTELY no substitutions! PERIOD! The chef is completely inflexible. How absurd in this day and age, with thousands of restaurant choices. My recommendation-find another restaurant to dine in. This wasn’t worth it and food was only fair, at best.
This was our 1st time at Grille620 and we really enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. We'll definitely be back! Highly Recommended.
The food was very good. The Chicken and Waffles was huge and the chicken was not dry at all. Drinks where great. No doubt would go again.

1st visit so I did not get to sample the whole menu. What our group did have was great, except for the Chesapeake burger which was average. Tuna tartar and calamari apps had great flavor and fresh. Lobster roll, crab cake, and rib-eye sandwich were very good. Chesapeake burger was ordered rare and came out just barely pink. The taste of the crab topping was not noticeable on the burger. We had 2 orders of the Brownie dessert. One was terrific the other was a bit dry.
Had a great time for National Oyster on the Half Shell Day. Love following Grille 620 on insta!
Food is overpriced, but well prepared.
We were seated immediately upon arrival. Our server was very nice and answered my friend’s questions with enthusiasm and a smile. We ordered the artichoke crab dip as an appetizer but found it to have an off taste when we tried it. Our server removed it from our bill as a result. My friend found her crab cake sandwich to be delicious and my rib-eye steak sandwich was cooked to perfection. We split a dessert and were very satisfied with the meal. It was quiet enough that we could easily converse.
