Absolutely loved it staff was amazing places beautiful food is incredible
I only rate the noise level as “high” because we were probably the problem! Our server was FANTASTIC. Knowing that it was a business dinner, she gave us PLENTY of time to chit chat without interrupting us to order food. The speed of the dinner was on point and made for a great experience for our first time guest.
I usually get the appetizers & one of their seasonal salads. The Spring rolls were terrific. We sat in the Loft area. It reminds me of a ski lodge. Gracious staff & lively crowd. Glad they expanded the parking area.
Had a lovely time. Our waitress was the BEST! Would recommend to others.
We were disappointed to be seated next to the bar area which was extremely noisy. It was only 5:30 and we had a reservation. My husband did not want to switch tables so I did not ask. I overheard another dinner, also being seated next to the bar, ask for another quieter table the hostess refused. The overall dinning experience was not what we had wanted and even though my husband and I enjoyed our lobster dinners my daughter did not enjoy her bland Caesar salad. Not sure if we will return.
Our sever Alison was Awesome. She was friendly, accommodating and professional. The food was good - appetizers were great, the ostrich was delicious, the short ribs weren’t quite to my liking- I didn’t care for the pomegranate jus with the beef and mushrooms. It just didn’t taste like the flavors blended well to me. The spinach and as good, the Brussels sprouts and the sweet potato bread pudding were excellent. The crispy garlic potato cake was bland, I didn’t taste much of the garlic and it actually needed salt which I never have to say at most restaurants. I have to say the lack of a heavy salt hand is my preference over the majority of restaurants that use salt as a major flavor component instead of just enhancement of flavor. We likely won’t return but it was a good experience overall.
Awesome food that rivals all of the upscale chains. ( Sullivan’s,capital grill, Morton’s) We were very surprised and delighted by this restaurant. I would definitely go back if I was in the area again.
Outstanding food, wine & service!
Wonderful as always
Food was delicious. Service was great!! Everything came out in a timely manner. We didn’t feel rushed at all
Food was excellent. The service was a little bit slow but it was very crowded. I've been here many times before and the service was never slow. So I would blame it on the crowd more so than the server
You do it right. Don't change a thing. Thanks for caring.
Had salads and they were big and a bit tasteless. Chicken was well cooked on the side. Service was excellent and friendly.
The food was excellent. The mussels appetizer was the size of a meal!
We requested the loft, but we were disappointed to find that this included the downstairs (loud) area behind the bar. When we questioned it, the person who seated us was rather abrupt. Our server was very pleasant and the food/drinks exceptional. If you’re looking for a fun, but not so loud dinner, request the upstairs area of the loft!! We will definitely return.
Wonderful restaurant. The food was delicious! Will definitely return to celebrate another special occasion.
Very nice vibe in the Loft. Can be a bit noisy but very tastefully detailed. Interesting selection of cocktails and entrees.
My best girl friends and I get together at least once a month and Grille 3501 has become our chosen favorite place. Everything from the drink, entrees, dessert never fail to meet our expectations.
Atmosphere non descript, but given choice of dining inside or on the enclosed deck/bar area. Mussels appetizer was unique, and outstanding with fresh fish, chorizo, peppers, tomatos; could have been a meal unto itself and highly recommended. Veal cheeks also prepared well, exceptionally tender and slow cooked. Ribeye special well prepared, but cheap cut of steak limits how well it will be. Wine list not bad, and includes world wide bottles. Overall very good dining experience - food preparation was the strongest element.
Grille 3501 never disappoints! I've been here so often I can't begin to guess the number of visits. It's consistently wonderful. The food is not your standard restaurant fare. It's always so creative with combinations that you'd never see elsewhere. The service is ALWAYS great, friendly, low key. And the plates come out looking like artwork. I cannot say enough about this place. Their chicken dumplings are insanely addictive. You must give them a try. Try this spot if you have not. It's beautiful, great service, and most EXCELLENT food and drinks!
Lunch at 3501 is always a treat. The food, while not inexpensive, is always top notch and the selection of wines, by the bottle or glass, is outstanding. I had the ahai tuna with a cannelloni bean ragu and my friend had the crispy king salmon dish. While the amount of Fish on each plate was just adequate, it was the blend of flavors provided by the accompaniments that made each dish outstanding and worth the price. A couple of glasses of French Rhône Valley wine set of the lunch in fine order.
Amazing food & amazing service! We definitely will go back again!
My filet was red, when I asked for med well. So my dinner was taken back to be cooked. In the mean time my husband had to eat his. So we did not have our dinner together.
Grille 3501 is one my favorite restaurants for a night out without the kids. Delicious food and great service. Love the loft area.
My wife's filet mignon was medium well on one side and medium rare on the other side and the sauce that came on it over powered the flavor of the steak which was only ok. My salmon was a little fishy tasting which always indicates that it isn't fresh. I have had tremendous salmon which cost less and no fishy flavor at all. Our waitress was nice but never told us the specials. We didn't know there were specials until we heard her telling them to the tables seated after us. We tried this place because of the 4+ rating but won't be going back anytime soon.
Always good at Grille 3501!!
We had a very enjoyable experience unfortunately we could not afford this restaurant often, very pricey. Maybe we would go again for a very special occasion but you need some cheaper options on the menu along with the high quality meals.
Grille3501 has beautiful decor and excellent cocktails. The food is very good, however they could stand to change the menu more often. I used to go more often, and find I tire of the options.
Excellent food with an incredible menu! Creative and challenging. Highly recommend
Table behind our group of 4 was extremely loud. Didn't appreciate their language either. Food was very good, but value is trending downward due to price hikes on the dinner and bar menus. It's visible the entree portions have been reduced by at least 20%. I'd rather dine in Phila. or NYC for the cost of the meal and beverages.
We will be back. The food was good and the wait staff was attentive.
The salads were good. The bread was good. The rare tuna was stringy. Price was reasonable. It was a cold day by the end of lunch it was cold in the dinning room and I was wearing a sweater. We have eaten here several times but this was not our best experience.
Always a great meal at Melt. Good food and good service.
Three of our foursome had the muscles appetizer. After every bite one or the other raved as to how delicious they were. I myself love seared scallops which I had for an entree, and they were seared to perfection with an excellent choice sides.
I was in for dinner with friends right before the holidays it has been years since I've been here. Dinner was absolutely delicious so when I wanted to make lunch plans with my niece I suggested grill 3501 and lunch was just as delicious as dinner was I will be back in the very near future.
My husband and I stopped in for an Anniversary lunch. It was our first visit and we felt very relaxed. Our server was superb. Friendly staff was attentive without being overbearing. The food was surprisingly good for our area. The pricing was totally reasonable. We are looking forward to trying their dinner menu.
Came here for nye, it was veryyy nice, the restaurant was very clean and had a nice bar, did not have a drink but they appeared very nice. The food was spectacular however when we came it was a 4 course meal and not the typical menu
This is the second time this month that we have eaten here and had a table in an absolutely horrible spot. Early December, we had a table in the back that had tables on either side VERY close. Last night, we were the first table at the end of the entry hall as soon as you came into the dining room. Both times we had reservations, yet felt as though they were "squeezing us in".
Meh. Everything was just kind of... meh. The service was lovely, and our server, Gina, was excellent. Ambiance was all over the place— they aren’t quite sure what they want to be. We were between a family with a baby (a crying baby) and elderly folks on a double date and a sorority Secret Santa exchange so I’m not quite sure what occasion I would recommend this for. Everything, perhaps? Way overpriced for the food. The rib eye I ordered was extremely underwhelming for the $40+ charge. There are far better places in the area if you want to have a nice dinner.
We started with the octopus, mussels, and wild boar which were delicious. I had the ostrich steak as my entree and it was absolutely fantastic! Will be dining again soon.
