Great dining experience. Came here with my wife and adult sons for son's birthday. Service was attentive, food was tasty. Not many people so ambiance was great. We'll be back.
Excellent service, great food.
Love how they have updated the space. Food was very good, the appetizers were surprisingly delicious. Service was attentive and timely. Will definitely be going again.
The restaurant is well run and the staff is friendly courteous and professional
Sat at the bar and the bartenders, especially Shannon was awesome. Great atmosphere and very attentive to all their patrons.
Very good devilled eggs. Calamari was good but chorizo aioli sauce was odd. Entrees were very good - Shortribs, fish and chips and prime rib sando. (Sando?) Service was timely. Waitress Christina was very attentive.
The meat was way too salty. Otherwise, this is a nice place to take the family to.
We will return, but ask for no seasoning on the steak. We do that now at every other restaurant.
The staff us friendly and welcoming. My wife enjoyed her salmon with couscous. I had French onion soup with prime rib sando, which essentially was a well made concoction of delicious flavors. Great value and we checked out the function room inside the restaurant. It’s not the hearth and kettle but it has that friendliness.
Waitresses were exceptional.
Food was delicious!!!!
Wry nice place. Clam Chowders was excellent and our waitress was out standing. I would definitely recommend
We had a fabulous time having a couple drinks at the bar and then got a table. Saturday night and so busy but food came out in a timely manner and it was delicious! Friendly, warm atmosphere. Owner came around to ask if we were happy with our experience . We ended up leaving our credit card by mistake and came back the next day for brunch! Best breakfast I’ve had! Will be back again soon.
You rate my selection of the noise level as energetic. I call it intrusive. It was impossible to ,have a normal conversation and had to nearly shout to be heard. I little sound dampening would be a good thing.
Great service for large group. All entrees were delicious. Great french onion soup.
The service, atmosphere and most importantly the food was excellent. Look forward to dinning there again.
Ok not great
Ive come here twice. When they first Newley opened and a few months later. Not sure if something was up, but the food was a 2/5 at most. The chicken wings which the server said were very popular were literally dusted with just salt. They were so salty , I took one bite and could not continue. It wasn’t even seasoning, just pure salt. The macaroni and cheese was not good at all, and the burger bun was very thin and soggy a quarter of the way into eating it.. not sure what kind of batter they use for the calamari but it should be changed.
November and they had the ac on. Told them 3 times. Drinks took 10-15 minutes to get there. And the martini was awful . Prime rib for three of us and it was tough. Id give it a c plus . All and all, i did not enjoy the experience .
We had a great dinner, food and drinks very good and service was excellent. Our server Michelle was super nice, friendly and on top of everything. Thank you!
Celebrated our birthday with a fantastic meal at Grille 151 couldn’t recommend it enough.
Root vegetables at their finest! No problem swapping items, great service and boy was it packed!! The word is out...this is not your old Hearth & Kettle!
Felt like I was sitting in a glorified cafeteria, very loud and brightly lit, zero ambience. Service very slow, but so are most restaurants these days. Had to ask for bread, got 4 cold rolls, no hurry to go back.
Spicy chicken sandwich was small compared to other establishments for the cost
The martinis were not filled and too much mix not enough alcohol
Went for brunch with my daughter and 5 year old granddaughter, our waitress Emily was excellent, I had the 151 rum punch and it was delicious, my daughter had a Bloody Mary she said was excellent, I ordered the eggs Benny, they were so good, it has spinach and a sausage patty with homemade lemon hollandaise sauce, amazing, even the home fries were cooked perfect, my daughter had the chopped salad and the chicken wings the salad was great and very generous serving, wings were perfectly cooked, my granddaughter had the Margarita pizza, it was very thin crust, wood oven cooked pizza, as good as I have had anywhere, we took a bagel with the smoked salmon home, I love this on a menu, it should be on every brunch menu, it was so good, I can’t wait to go back
Food and service were great .Great atmosphere . Will go back again
Loved it. Our party of four had Apps. Sandwiches & a Pizza. Food was really good and our server was terrific.
Food was delicious, Staff was friendly, Atmosphere is Great!
Great food, exceptional service and a lively atmosphere.
We ordered our drinks and meal.our drinks came in an acceptable time frame . Our meals took over 30 minutes and then one out of 4 took an additional 10 minutes.there was no explanation only an apology when the final meal came.We finally got bread after asking when our meals came. Our water was finally refilled after asking twice at the end of the meal. Service as unacceptable. I doubt that we will return.
2nd time there to take family from out of town - quickly becoming a go to restaurant!
Our experience overall was poor. Party of five, we ordered 4 cocktails and 4 glasses of wine, 4 bowls of chowder and 5 entrees. The cocktails other than wine had little if any alcohol. The prime rib was cooked in a pan, black on one side and brown on the other and med rare in the center (ordered rare). The burger ordered med-well was rare. The chopped salad with chicken had 2 very small pieces of shredded chicken. The salmon and meatloaf were ok. The bill with 20% tip was over $300. The noise level was ridiculous. We had to scream at each other. Not a place we would return to.
This place is up there with any upscale dining experience in Boston. It’s truly a great restaurant—very delicious food, a nice atmosphere, really good. Yes, it is loud, no, I wouldn’t recommend bringing kids (it’s not a turn & burn place—you will wait for your food for 15-25 minutes, and that’s OK at this type of restaurant). But this is a really great place. Thrilled to have it in Weymouth.
I was pleasantly surprise it is a very good restaurant. The food delicious, and the service fantastic. They are very accomodating which is very helpful. I told the hostess that I was pleasantly surprise at how good it was, because when I went to see the menu online and saw the raw seafood bar that is not my style. I had the Townie breaksfast it was delicious. I also told her to expand the menu to include corn muffin I love corn muffins. They could also add traditional eggs benedict, southwest eggs benedict ( chirizo patty, corn salsa, poached eggs on englich muffin or biscuit), maybe add waffles with fruit and whipped topping.
Well sorry to say will never go back! The noise level was so loud they really need to do something about that . Absolutely no ambiance at all! Just one big loud room with mostly tables and a few booths. To justify a ribeye to cost 💲 45.00, I expect more, not even a tablecloth on the tables
Our waitress was great though, very attentive and food came out timely
I did not have great expectations for the main course because the appetizers were just ok, but surprisingly the filet we got was excellent (35.00 I believe)
I still won’t be back. I rather go to Davios for a nice steak dinner!
Everything was great food was delicious they have a nice variety of drinks and beers our server Maia was excellent place was a little loud but a great atmosphere overall!
Waitress was excellent- made good suggestions
Food was good
Menu had good options
The short ribs were very good and presented very nicely
our second visit...superb, Great service great ambiance Food was exquisite. Oysters to die foe Filet cooked perfect
Waited more than 1 hour for our food. After 50 minutes, we were told that they were out of what we ordered. Appreciated that they comped the replacement meal. Way too much salt and pepper on the veggies.
It’s worth a second try due to the presence of a large Birthday function which definitely took away our timely service and quality of the pricey food . Ericka our waitress was very sweet definitely overtaxed, but it may be a good Bar to sit at and get hammered then shoot over to precinct 10 and indulge in a properly managed quality and quantity controlled restaurant, in all due respect good luck and thank you anyway , we may give it a second try. Sincerely, Jim and Patricia
just ok 2nd time we tried but will probably not go back
First time there with some girlfriends for lunch. We were working off of the brunch menu but they had many options. Everything was delicious.
