Grill Argentino Ratings and Reviews
I expected better quality steaks. The ribeye was tough. Not tender at all. I asked medium rare. My son for medium. I was served the medium and my kid the medium rare and they were with the wrong mark so the server was unaware the cook had marked them wrong. Overall ok but i expected a better cut of meat.
Wonderful dining experience. Great choice to celebrate Valentine's Day. The Argentinian Grill Plate for one was huge and delicious. Also enjoyed the caprece salad. The heart shaped lobster ravioli special was a cute touch and stuffed full of lobster but the large size of the pasta made the edges a little tough. Would definitely return.
First off, it's a different restaurant name with different owners. The busboy who greeted us said I was mistaken and that Open Table did not exist. I wanted to drop it and he kept insisting I was wrong and I didn't know what I was talking about. I kept telling him it was fine not to worry. He kept on. When he brings the menu I open (I've been going to Rincon for many many years) the prices were increased by at least 25%. Whomever purchased this has ruined what was a great place to have lunch and dinner.
This place was turnkey. The gentleman was so unpleasant I told me family we are leaving. I left a couple of bucks on the table because he served water and left. There was no manager on duty and only one server. Granted there was only table occupied in a place that was alway full.
We were staying across the street at a hotel and saw Rincon Argentiono from our room window. We asked the hotel staffer and she highly recommended it. It was a delightful first time dining experience from the moment we walked in! A warm greeting, great service and great steaks! Highly recommended!
Traditional Bife de Chorizo with grilled red peppers and a baked potato... prefaced by an outstanding Provoleta and chorizos: simply a great Argentine meal! We had the half-carafe of the house wine - a very acceptable Malbec. All in all, a great spot tucked away in a strip mall and we will return.
Very good. It would be nice if they had more space, and offered a full bar, but honestly that would be less accurate an Argentine Parrilla. Only other suggestion would be to offer the full line of Luigi Bosca offerings. Some of us can't afford the DOC every time, but the Reserva and even La Linda are excellent values. That being said $63 for Luigi Bosca DOC Malbec with table service at a restaurant is a phenomenal value in the states.
Food and service were good. The people were friendly and attentive but the restaurant is a little pricey for a neighborhood casual place. The bill for dinner for 2 with a glass of wine was $94. Other places I frequent, the bill is in the $65 range. I would go back to the place but reserve it for a special occasion.
Everything is awesome and we enjoy ourselves every time we go there, however, we have been disappointed by the fried potatoes (large round platter)....they have been soggy and with little flavor. Last time they put a mojo on top, but it seemed to have been just spooned in globs and did little for it.
The ones in Coral Gables, not Kendall, are great, though.
Desserts are yummy.
