Chris Cooper was great! The chicken and the ribeye were amazing, perfectly cooked! I will definitely come back after I recover from my food coma.

My boyfriend’s parents love it when we take them here for dinner. They visit Boston once a yr, and they look forward to eating at this Boston fine-dining establishment within walking distance from their hotel.

The waiter was experienced and accommodating and the steaks were delicious as were the sides we ordered. The noise level was very high, but if you can overlook that, you can have an excellent meal here.

It was good. I don’t think any meal is $500 good, though.

The service was top notch and so is the food. Probably the best wine list in the city.

Food was very good. The desserts are especially good. The coconut cake is out-of-this-world good. Coffee is also delicious.Chris was our server and he was awesome. My only gripe was how expensive the drinks were. $17 for 5 ounces and my husband’s martini was $22.

The service was attentive, the cocktails amazing, and the rib eye steak was. Incredible. Since we didn’t want a full steak, the steak was split for the two of us.

Excellent staff and menu. Food of top quality and comfortable tables/chairs in a pleasant but slightly noisy environment.

Wonderful service and delicious food. It's a really large space so fairly noisy, bright and vibrant. It's fairly expensive so not a regular stop but good for a special event/dinner.

Chris was our server, he was amazing but the food wasn't the greatest. Ordered the Filet Mignon and it tasted like a hamburger. Drinks where really good and like I said Chris our server was great. If you do go I would recommend requestinnng him.

First time to Boston. Grill 23 was recommended by a sales clerk at Valentino. We usually go to the chain restaurants but decided to take her recommendation and we were glad we did.

For the price I was disappointed. Because I was alone I was seated at a table jammed up against a pillar. There was a large group in the bar making so much noise it was hard to enjoy the ambiance.
I got a very large piece of onion skin in the onions with my filet and no apology from the waiter (who was otherwise fine). The creamed spinach was reasonable, but not more. The filet was lovely and the sauce delicious. And the beet salad was very nice.
When I asked about the truffles the waiter told me one had recently been switched out and that the replacement he thought was chocolate orange. When he delivered it a big table had just arrived for him so he hurriedly dropped it and said the new one was grasshopper (mint), not orange. That's a pretty big difference and I can't eat mint. I would have much preferred if he had taken the time to either check or ask me if I wanted to have two of a different flavor. These seem like small things, but I don't treat myself to this kind of dinner often and I was disappointed.

My husband and I were in Boston over the weekend and decided to go to Grill 23 to celebrate our anniversary. It was fantastic. You have to get the tator tots!! So good! My husband and I split the he 18 ounce ribeye, plenty of steak for two people. It was so so good! The restaurants is loud but it was a Saturday night.

I have eaten many times at G23 and have grown accustomed to a great experience. On this night, the Service could only be described only as order taking. No other services provided that I would expect at a restaurant of this caliber. No introduction to the restaurant, food recommendations or check back in when other employees delivered the food.

My 28th birthday....It took about 15 minutes for someone to greet us. Another 15/20 to receive drinks.

The food was over cooked, no flavor. The drinks were pretty good...but I wouldn’t give much more than that!

Our bill was $600 overpriced for horrible food.

Just your average overpriced steakhouse, in a world where there are a dozen just like it in the area. When I spend $250 for something I could make at home for $75, I expect to at least be treated special. This place lacks atmosphere, and quality service. Fillet was good, not great. The wedge was a Romaine not Iceberg, which included to much core. Crispy Potatoes were crispy because they were burned to a crisp. I guess the best thing we had to eat was the Coconut Pie. Maybe they should just start a bakery.

Grill 23 continues to be the center of the universe for upscale steaks, wine and service. They will surprise you with fabulous fish dishes as well. I've been going to the Grill on a fairly regular basis for over 25 years for special occasions, large groups or just a special dining experience. The staff is fabulous, the bartenders are incredibly talented and social - even the parking attendants treat you special.

There's always a vibrant buzz at Grill 23 that's tough to beat - I've dined just about everywhere.

The service was superb, the food incredible and the drinks robust and flavorful. My only concern was the two table corner we were seated in. It was so tight that we felt we were having dinner with the people next to us. Over all though, the experience was very good.

Our party of six had an excellent Easter dinner. Crab cakes were great and the steaks were even better. We had a great white wine and a perfect red for the meat. Coffee, desserts and port were a great end to the day. Everyone had a grand time and perfect Easter dinner.
