The food and the serve at Grill 23 are second to none. Ask for Chris or Adam if you go, especially now that they are open on Sundays. You can also see that they are taking the health and safety of their guests to heart. The restaurant stayed closed well after Boston restaurants were allowed to open indoors so they could make sure they were best able to provide a top notch experience while also maintaining the utmost in cleanliness and safety.

Grill 23 continues to impress. The service was exceptional. My Steak Frites were slightly undercooked. My wife's Filet Minion was perfect. My only complaint - And I can only hold G23 partly responsible for this - is the slow, continual decline in Boston's dress code and personal appearance. The staff were dressed perfectly. I'm talking about the guests. Next to my wife and me were a couple who looked like they had rolled out of bed to come to dinner. Work boots (untied), blue jeans falling off, tee shirt. There were others. In the old days, fine restaurants had dress codes. Ambiance is part of the experience. Eating with slobs becomes a detriment to that.

Wonderful 100 days aged ribeye steak and attentive wait staff. Beautiful and luxury ambience, great for a dress-up night dinner in the city. The only thing that I didn’t particularly like - fries are not your regular crispy thin sticks, but rather belonged fried potato wedges. If I knew that, I would have resorted to something crispier like tots.

We came here for a birthday dinner and felt very safe. All the staff had masks and all tables were appropriately distanced. The drinks were excellent.
We all ordered different steaks and there were no complaints. The sides were just as good. When it came to desserts, we passed them all around to share and each one was excellent. We will be back soon.

Our waiter was kind and we ordered right away. After our order, our waiter came over to tell us that they ran out of Caesar salad. How do you run out of salad?! Moments later, he came over to apologize again that the dinner I had ordered, they also ran out of. He said the restaurant did not realize they would be this busy...? The food We ordered was delicious, but it was aggravating that we were spending this money at a quality restaurant to not have items on a small menu available. At the end of the dinner, the waiter asked us what we would like for dessert. At that point, we just wanted the check. No one offered a dessert on the restaurant for two inconveniences and being ill prepared for a Saturday night or an appetizer comp. Food was good, but not sure we would go back.

The food was impeccable. The service above and beyond. We ordered the 100 day dry aged steak and it literally was cooked to perfection. It was by far the best steak we ever had. This place does not disappoint. Loved everything about it.

Everything from our entrance to the moment we left was a delightful experience. All Covid requirements were adhered to in the fullest and table separation was above requirements. As always the service was attentive and the food was superb. I have always regarded Grill 23 as the finest steakhouse in Boston and I am never disappointed when we select it as our destination for all important events.

My fiance proposed right before our reservation at Grill 23 for my 30th birthday. They went above and beyond and made our evening as special as it should have been.
