Amazing steakhouse!! It's not cheap but it's worth it. Cooked to perfection, lots of options. Great seafood too. Will definitely be back.
Food and wine was excellent as always, but our server, Christopher, really made the night. He was equally as professional as he was charming. He knows how to read his tables and it was exactly the kinda service we needed. The sommelier (can’t remember his name, obv also did his job well) was also tip top. Thanks gents, we’ll be back soon!
Grill 23 has wonderful food and a great wait staff. It is VERY expensive (everything is ala carte and the wine list while nice and large, is very costly) and surprisingly noisy. But with that said, this has to be up there with the best restaurants in all of Boston.
We loved everything about Grill 23. The decor and ambiance were what a steakhouse should be. Hector and his associates were great and the food was dynamite. It was a dining experience not just a meal. Do yourself a favor and get the 100 day dry aged Ribeye. Might just be the best steak I’ve ever had

The wine, service and ambiance were each 5-Star! The food, including the dry-aged NY Sirloin, potatoes, breads, espresso and vegetable were a disappointment and rated just 3-Stars.

The highlight of a Grill 23 experience is the steak. The dry aged ribeye and Kobe cap are always first rate. No sauce necessary but they have some interesting selections if you prefer.
Lobster Mac and Cheese and mashed potatoes are better at a number of other Boston places but you’re here for the steak, right? :-)
Desserts are delicious. The seasonal cobbler is a great summer choice.

Thank you Sarah! The “eye of the ribeye” is sometimes called the “deckle” or “cap”. The interesting thing is, the cap, is more marbled with fat than the eye, and as beef lovers know, fat is flavor!!! The American Kobe Cap is nothing but flavor. Glad you enjoyed yourself! Jeff Osowski, GM

Great food, great wine selection but the service is what sets Grill 23 apart. The service makes a very good experience a great experience.
Always great food and superb service. Very nice presentation and flavor. Also a nice choice of meats other than just USDA.
