I was certainly not expecting much from yet another sports bar but Griff's gave me a pleasant surprise. Although the food is mainly bar food it's prepared perfectly and the choices are a little different than most places. Our server was attentive and friendly and we had an excellent time. Appetizers of note were the fried pickles (slices with a delicate batter) and the fried mac & cheese (served with a delicious hearty red sauce). The best entree by far was the fried catfish. The breading was light and the fish was flaky and served piping hot. Boneless wings were also good with a tangy bbq sauce - not too much breading! Burger was prepared perfectly and fries were crisp and hot. We will definitely go back to Griff's the next time we're in Louisville.

Lots of food for the $. Buffalo chicken salad was delicious and loved their fried pickles. Helpful servers. Easy to sit and chat until the ball game came on as we left....sound cranked up then. But, if you're there to watch the game, perfect.

Ribs were terribly dry to the point where we sent them back. The alcoholic drinks didn't have much alcohol. And lastly, I made a reservation for my group and the host/hostess allowed someone other than me to change the number of people seating was reserved for.

Alfredo sauce continues to be best I've had. We had a party of six and all enjoyed our food. Service was far better than previous visit. Great pre game or post game dining spot.

I took my husband and father for father's day. We waited an hour for food , once it came it was disappointing . Although my burger was good , my husband's ribe were very dry and my dads prime rib was full Of fat so I paid 20 dollars for a meal that he literally took 3 bites of . Our server was by 3 times and we waited another 20 mins for our check when finally I told my party to go wait in the car and I sat alone for another 15 mins before I was acknowledged and check was brought to me .

The food was the highlight. Service was good, but good delivery was very slow. Serveral large parties having a great time. Will be back. Fun place to be.

The Chicken and waffles (waffle fries) was decent but the chicken was extremely spicy. I am not a spicy food person and the chicken definitely had a kick. The praline sauce on the fries was interesting but definitely tasty.
