    Exceptional dining experience ! Food was excellent, wait staff were so attentive and knowledgeable about the meals and drinks. Ambience is the best in town. Does not disappoint.

    I always love dinner here. The only thing I would like to suggest is to have daily features besides the regular menu.

    I had a horrible experience at the restaurant last night when I took my parents there for a birthday meal. I made a reservation but when I go there, we still had to wait 15 mins before our table was ready while other people who came in all got a table. During the meal, I order still water and they serve tap, the table was dirty and we had to request the server to clean it. Then when we told them it’s for a birthday, the server took me aside to pick a desert (when we haven’t even had our main courses yet) and made it look like it was complementary because it’s for birthday, we offered 3 other desserts as well. Ended up, they didn’t comp any of the desserts as the server said the manager declined. For a restaurant of this rating and standard and pricing, the service was horrible. It made me feel I was discriminated because we were Asians. Super disappointed as we only went back there because 2 years ago we had dinner there and the food was good. I hope the chef and owner really work with their service staff and let them understand that people can come for the food and love it but never come back because of poor service.

    Waited 20 minutes for our table even though we had a reservation. Waited another w0 minutes for a drink. Waited another 15 minutes for our order to be taken. Not our usual service or experience. Disappointing.

    Greystones was fantastic, as always! We had three steaks that were perfect and a gluten-free option - Quebec chicken - that was beautifully cooked and presented. Everyone’s plate was empty and scraped clean! We started our meal with warm bread and hummus that was divine! And ended it with incredibly tasty raspberry and mango sorbets, and yummy crème brûlée. There was nothing out of place for this perfect meal. The server took great care of us, including moving us to a table that better accommodated one of us with a hearing impairment. If there’s anything less than perfect about this annual birthday dinner at Greystones it would be that they don’t have high chairs. This being the first time we had a baby in our group, we never thought to ask. We would have brought our portable chair with us if we’d known. Next time for sure, although it’s not really the kind of place you would expect babies to be. But they never once made it a problem and certainly welcomed our little guy. This was such a great outing. We’ll always have Greystones at the top of our list, especially on Sundays. (It’s hard to find fine dining in Orangeville on a Sunday, for some reason!) We couldn’t recommend Greystones more highly!

    A fine dining experience that never disappoints. It’s always a go to for us. The waiters are very personable and add to the overall positive experience.
