NO TABLE CLOTHS, BUT SERVICE AND FOOD WERE PRETTY GOOG.
We had a Gnoochi Crab meat dinner and the crab was scarce almost non existance. It was a special occasion and trusted the food would be as good as the ambiance, unfortunatley it was not.
The atmosphere is very nice and we had good service. The food is average at best and overpriced. I would return for drinks at the bar and the live music but not for dinner.
Interesting spot. Food was average. Started with salads that were very good. We had the Crab gnocchi and the shrimp stir fry which were average. (Bland gnocchi and crab dish-could have been served hotter). Stir fry served in too much sauce and the sauce was salty. Service was not very good. (Seem to be inexperienced)
Had to ask for a beer glass, had to ask for pepper on the salad, had to ask for cheese for the gnocchi, etc.....nice facility.
Great place! Outside sitting was great for yesterday because of the pleasant evening. It’s our second time in a month and definitely not the last.
We sat outside. Very nice. Service was slow, couldn’t get anyone’s attention. I could have used some pepper on my pork chop.
We arrived for the outside seating. They seemed unprepared and disorganized. Woman eventually seated us, told us she was getting menus, the disappeared. Eventually, she seated another group and provided them with menus. Appetizers very good. Entrees bland (I had the pork chop, my wife had the gnocchi). Very nice and accommodating server.
Grey Stone is a hidden gem. The food and the facilities are great. It may be off the beaten path but worth the effort to enjoy.
Food and service are always excellent. Greystone is at the top of our list.
Delicious fresh food great atmosphere overall beautiful dining friendly staff
This was our 3rd time at the Grey stone. The food is always good. The patio is awesome and has a great vibe. The only concern I have is the hostess. Each time we come in she is always "busy and overwhelmed" and makes no apologies for it. She never greats you never makes eye contact. This is the first impression you give your clients. The wait staff is pleasant and efficient. I have worked in food service and understand how important a first impression can be, it can set the tone for your dining experience.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere in a very pleasant outdoor setting.
We sat outside on a lovely evening but had to move inside because of bees attacking us.
My friend is highly allergic. Didn’t care for the big room we were escorted to. Love the
menu but will get a cozy table upstairs the next time I visit. Our waitress was so very accommodating and pleasant!
Outstanding, imaginatively prepared food with efficient, friendly service in lovely surroundings. Highly recommended - could be the best food in the Yardley-Newtown area.
Have dined here numerous times and have yet to be disappointed. Beautiful venue in and out. Food is very tasty. The lobster sliders were amazing as was the chopped salad.
Food was great. Hostess was great!!! Service was great. Waitress and Bartender were not very friendly. Got the feeling something was happening and they were not happy that night. Waitress was not tentative. But everyone had a bad night. Would definitely go back.
There was a large wedding and several large groups at the restaurant on the night we went. That said, there was difficulty seating us and the kitchen had already run out of numerous appetizers and entrees. At least the staff was all very friendly. The food we did eat wasn't bad, but all fairly mediocre with the exception of the lobster sliders - which, while the high point of the entire meal, were overpriced. The pork ribs entree also stood out as a highlight.
The saving grace was dessert. We wandered into the bar and ended up speaking directly with the pastry chef, who put together a mouth-watering masterpiece of a donut and brownie dessert. Not inclined to return for dinner, but the drink selection and dessert menu may be enough for a return visit.
Food was phenomenal and service was excellent.
Wonderful find. Would totally go back when in the area.
Excellent food, presented beautifully. We enjoyed everything from appetizers to dessert.
Enjoyed the outside dining. We dine at Grey Stone frequently and will continue to so.
Our experience at Greystone was very positive. We dined in their beautiful outdoor space. Our server was attentive and we all loved our entrees. We enjoyed the gazpacho appetizer, I had the short ribs which were deliciously served over horseradish mashed potatoes. My husband had the shrimp and my son had the crab gnocchi. No complaints at all! We will definitely be back.
My wife, son and I went out. I got the almond crusted salmon with fruit salsa. Very little fruit salsa. Not even a tablespoon. But the salmon was cooked perfectly. My son had the best meal: Honey Sriracha Grilled Shrimp. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delish. My wife got the crab gnocchi - which was also very good.
Food was excellent. Service was a little inconsistent. When it was on, it was on but after our meals were delivered we wanted another drink and had to flag our waiter down to order one.
The quality of the food was excellent but service was too slow and prolonged our visit to 2 and 1/2 hours.
The food was delicious; service was good; outside seating was beautiful; bathrooms were clean and nicely decorated.
Very good food, awesome service. Our 2nd time and we will keep going back. Well worth a visit!
We loved Greystone , we ate outside and it was perfect . Our wAiter was very personal and made our dining experience that much more enjoyable. We will definitely be back
Excellent on every level the food was perfectly prepared and delicious. The service was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the evening.
From the valet service, hostess stand, and incredible service and food I couldn’t have asked for a better date night with my husband! Brandon, the owner, came over and checked on us and we enjoyed the atmsospere of this elevated dining experience away from the congestion of the shopping center in Newtown.
A very pleasant surprise as this venue had been previously only for weddings and other group functions
A relatively new addition to the local restaurant scene in the New Hope, Newtown and Washington Crossing area this renovated venue is now a beautiful addition both inside and outside
Moreover the menus is diverse, interesting and more importantly very good to excellent as is the large drink menu.
Very pleasant atmosphere with very good service
Will undoubtedly return soon looking forward to sampling the many items on menue
Food was good, had to ask for coffee,at Brunch, served toast but no butter
My 1st time dining here. Absolutely gorgeous place, tastefully decorated, clean. Outdoor area is inviting and offers plenty of seats.
About the Food :
It was way below average for me .
My drink was just ok, octopus was over cooked and very salty, cauliflower tasted fine and main dish of arugula salad with tuna was ruined by heavy dressing and chewy cut of fish .
I’ll give it another shot since it’s a local place and I love to support local business. I heard that Sunday brunch is nice .
Food was above average except for a few sandwiches ordered that seemed on par with a local deli. I highly recommend the General Tso's cauliflower. Atmosphere was comfortable and quiet for a Sunday afternoon. My biggest complaint was the waitstaff who reeked of cigarette smoke and appeared to want to be anywhere else. This was verified by his statement of regret that he was stuck working rather than enjoying his weekend. I felt uncomfortable as he suggested that I was responsible for his unfortunate situation. My shoes stuck to the bathroom floor and my tiny mixed drink was terribly overpriced. Negatives aside, I would give it another chance in future. The outdoor patio area looks beautiful.
Our first time here. Very good food and attentive service. Definitely in the rotation going forward 🙂
We enjoyed sitting outside on the very large patio. The service was very good and we feasted on salad and hors d'oeuvres. We are returning customers and our friends who were there for the first time are planning to come back.
Hidden gem. Amazing atmosphere. Interesting menu. Will definitely return.
Food is a little over priced. Food quality for entrees could be improved
The best place for outside dining, lovely setting, tables are not Close together, so you don’t feel as if you are sharing your dinner
Very good! We ate outside and the patio is beautiful! Very spacious and it still felt intimate. The food was delicious! My personal favorite was the Generals Tso Cauliflower! If I had known how amazing it would be I would’ve ordered it for my meal! I can’t wait to come back! Definitely a hot spot in the newtown area!
