We actually loved the dining outside experience with Grey Wolf. This was our second time since the pandemic visiting this winery and the hardest part for us is deciding which wines NOT to buy!! The service was top notch both times! Interesting fact, there is an iPad on a stand at the hostess desk where you take your temperature before being seated. First time I have seen this and sent a picture to my principal at school to see if this was something we could get for work!
My wife and I had a fun and entertaining time here. The wine was good and our waiter was hilarious. Amazing sunset to end the evening!
Great wine at a reasonable price. Chris was friendly and informative.
Great Staff. Very friendly and accommodating. Will be back!
It was great! Friday we had Jessie. She is amazing! Saturday we had Chris! Perfect server for our group of 6!
This place was great. I loved the whole ambiance of it the farmhouse vibe with the music being outside with heaters. I forgot the name of the guy that helped us, perhaps Ryan, but he was great. The tasting is done by them bringing you the wine in these little plastic cups on a wine board that you grab and pour into your own glass to drink. The wines were explained each time and at the end we were asked if there was anything we wanted to revisit or if we wanted to try something he choose and we did that. That wine was great too, but it was a wine member only. We did have the mac and cheese and it was fantastic. We ended up buying 3 bottles of wine. I would definitely come back and would recommend it to anyone.
Out with the husband...enjoyed a delicious flatbread and best service as always!! Thanks Jessie❤️
Amazing views and staff. The experience is so much fun. The staff are friendly and attentive. Accommodating in all ways! Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful wine tasting. This place has everything: good food, great wine, and a distillery in the back! Highly recommend. Very covid friendly and safe as well.
Terrific, quaint setting on the west side of the 101. Super friendly service, enjoyable tasting, and good cheese board (only food they were serving due to the holiday and covid restrictions).
Was allowed access to the distillery (they had just closed), and brought home an outstanding Rye!
Great ambiance, delish wine and a wonderful host!
Out of multiple items; especially Mac n cheese. Only 2 salads available; which were OK. Supposedly they changed chefs and delivery company didn’t come. Cool location but needed more options with food. Not good
Service was terrible. The wine isn't very good. Seems like they are trying to be too many things.
Our wine server was great. Down to earth and really took care of us. Knew the product offering too. I'm a member and the wine qualify again did not disappoint.
Winderful! Fabulous wine, service and value! One of our new favorites!
Outdoor seating was great. Service and hospitality were fine. They do a good job.
Great wine, food and service. We’ve driven past many times and finally decided to stop. Definitely worth a visit.
Great tasting flight. We shared a flatbread with our friends, also very good. Our server Katy was a sweetheart. A little chilly to sit outside but they had heaters for each table. All in all a very good experience.
We went with a group of 6. Place was a bit busy but with the excellent and attentive customer service Katy provided our visit was enjoyable and relaxing.
Excellent service and wine! Super cute atmosphere and friendly staff!
My husband and I had a great time. Thank you Spencer, Chris and carter!
We had a great time!
A very busy place, very good wines, knowledgeable server. We met the winemaker and he was terrific! Food looked interesting, we opted for charcuterie tray, bread was a bit past prime, but the cheeses, sausages and olives hit the spot!
I usually go to the larger wineries around the area but this was suggested by a friend who works in the wine industry. Was excited to check this place out but honestly I am very disappointed. Wine and food is average to good but service was horrible. I usually am very quiet and keep bad reviews to myself because I understand the importance of good reviews for a business. However, the service is absolutely horrendous. Maybe it was just my table and it was just myself and my significant other but that does not mean a small table is less worthy or will spend less money than a larger group. I drove all the way down from the Bay Area looking forward to checking out this winery. Checked in at our check-in time, got seated and was handed the wine and food menu. Was sitting at our table for 20 minutes and no one have come over to ask if we were ready to order. I had to go up to a staff to let them know that we have been seated for the past 20 minutes and no one has asked if we are ready to order. Our server Nancy came and took our order. I am not even exaggerating but 40 minutes in after ordering, we received only 2 pours from the 5 wines on the wine tasting list and food has still not arrived. I expressed my concern to another staff. Thankfully the owner, Jenny Barton, came and assisted us. To be truly honest, if Jenny did not come to assure that our order is placed and gave us our third pour, I would have walked out, left, and headed over to one of the hundreds other wineries around the area. I really want to see the good in everything and have given myself quite some time to think about whether or not I should express my disappointment. Being in the costumer service industry myself, this is a lesson for myself and others that no matter the size of a party, no costumer should be neglected or treated differently due to perceived perceptions.
What a great find! We had every wine meet and soar about expectations! We will be back!
Our server Brandi was top notch. Kitchen was not open on Wed so we had several appetizer plates and did a wine tasting. Great way to spend a relaxed afternoon. Even better when the kitchen is open.
Did a wine tasting at this property. The only food involved was a bag of cookies (very good ones). The service was fine - we weren’t blown away by the wines which seemed somewhat overpriced.
Service was great. So friendly!!! Food was fabulous and wine was delicious! Will definitely go back!
Just a beautiful place to enjoy a tasing or a glass of wine. People are so friendly. We had the Lineage and Soul Mate. Both wonderful wines. Took some home. Highly recommend.
Great wine tasting and shared food experience. The owner stopped by our table to talk about the winery. We also tasted at the attached KroBar Distillery.
Our first time here and a very pleasant surprise. The wines were great . Andrew was a great guide through our tastings. The charcuterie tray was amazing. We joined the club and plan to return in May/June time-frame to pickup February and Spring wines.
Frankly a bit overpriced. With Covid going on - not really worth the effort. We wanted to go to a winery with a restaurant and this didn't fit the bill. We ended up wine tasting and ordering a Charcuterie plate. Don't bother until this pandemic is over.
During this visit to Grey Wolf Cellars we had only wine, no food. However, during previous visits we have had their mac and cheese, which is my wife's favorite. We have also had the charcuterie plate, which is a nice accompaniment while tasting wine.
On this particular visit we did not have food, but we have been there before to eat. It was very good. I am hoping they will add a few more items to the menu or change it from time to time.
Thank you so much for visiting! We appreciate your feedback! We were changing our menu weekly and just transitioned into changing it monthly (we may add in specials throughout the month!). We are farm-to-table, so the menu depends on fresh, local ingredients that we find at our local farmers markets and businesses. We hope to see you again soon! Hayli
They seated people in the sun even though the whole east side was nice and shady. Twelve to fifteen minutes would pass between server bringing out tastings. Didn’t realize tasting would be $30/person. There was very loud country music playing that was terrible!
Hi Tamera! We are so sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your visit! We pride ourselves on customer service and are saddened to hear it fell short for you. We never seat anyone in the sun if there are open tables in the shade, however, on busy days we do tend to fill most tables. We look forward to the day we can invite you all back indoors! Please reach out to management so they can attempt to rectify this for you - we have privately messaged you contact information. Thank you for your feedback!
We were unable to get a reservation for Saturday due to their crowd. We did get a reservation for Sunday and took it based on referral. Unfortunately, and likely due to the COVID situation, it was a good, not great experience. The server did his best and responded as best he could. Selection of food choices have been reduced due to Covid and not many choices. We will try again in the future.
We are so sorry to hear about your experience! We have privately messaged you our contact information for management so they can attempt to rectify this! Thank you for your feedback!
Birthday celebration for me.
Excellent food,service and wine.
Garden is relaxing. Views of the vineyard are great.
Thank you so much for visiting! We hope to see you again very soon!
As always, wonderful service with a friendly welcoming atmosphere. The food and wine are exceptional! Always a fun time at this winery!
Hi Lynne! Always great seeing you! Thank you so much for visiting :)
This is a great place, so much fun , they even had some live music and the owner and the employees are so kind and fun! Not as formal as a lot of wineries and very down to earth. Wine was great and the food too! We will come back!
Hi Carol! Thank you so much for visiting! We hope to see you again very soon!
