With nineteen screens, including a giant projector screen,
and an unrivalled atmosphere, there’s no better place to
catch all the big games in London.
The service was unfortunately terrible. It took 3 attempts just for them to pour a simple whisky and soda. We were at table, so each attempt a good 5 to 10 minutes. They were only at about 50% capacity and the service was poor - I would hate to be there when they are actually busy. We stayed for 3 rounds of drinks, but had to leave after that as it was simply too painful.
food was super slow, poor and the service inattentive
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave this review, it's so disappointing to see such a poor visit and we would very much like to look in to the issues you have mentioned, if you could drop an email to email@example.com that would be fantastic so we can gain some more details.
Really enjoyed lunch here. Food was delicious and the service was friendly. Bit of noise from the sports fans but nothing overpowering. I would visit again.
Thanks LouiseW, we look forward to seeing you soon
Although not a football fan there was a match shown. The atmosphere was great.
The food was good . we had the small plates to share and they were great value.
Having been here before I knew it was the perfect location for our trip to London. We booked a table for after a visit to the theatre & when we arrived the place was already busy, but nevertheless we were seated immediately. The staff were very attentive and our food arrived in no time at all. Not only was our food great, the menu is reasonably priced.
It is a great buzzy place, but it was a bit loud for a catch up with my friend.
It was relatively good value for London.
Great for watching sports, not so great if you don't.
Both the service and food were excellent. Highly recommended!
Food was very over priced. Service was not great. And food was tasteless.
Lovely breakfast and calm and rush free atmosphere
Couldn't hear the rugby commentary. Food excellent though. Too noisy though for me.
Venue was so cold (air con in middle of winter) with seats near the doors and no seating alternative offered we sat with jacket & hats. Ordered chicken burger which was so over cooked it almost left the plate when attempting to cut into it.
Great place especially if you like watching sport
Great Place for watching footie. Conveniently located, great food and reasonable prices. Table service can be slow during busy times and they don't do cocktails either. Also, they have got limited beer selections.
Bad service - took ages for someone to come, then got the order wrong
Atmosphere not great as they had the football on (didn’t realise it was that sort of place)
Food was actually quite good though!
Best avoided overall
Good food for a reasonable price, comfortable seating and excellent service
Good spot and good service (by European standards). The manager was a good guy who was on top of stuff and friendly.
Excellent..ambience and food..
Good food/ambiance but service could be better.
We went for a birthday lunch and the experience was terrible. We were seated with menus but no drink menus. We waited 15mins for a waiter and then went and got the menus ourselves. We the waited another 15mins for someone to take our order. The drinks arrived after our food and was the wrong order. The food was warm and the sea was burnt on one of the orders.
The manager did actually take that meal off the bill and gave us a further 15% discount for the poor service which was appreciated however when it came to paying the bill they gave us the wrong receipt 3 times.
What was meant to be a quick lunch with colleagues turned into a 2 hour drama
We had a group of 6 and they messed up our table so we had to sit on a tiny table. When we asked if we could pay separately the waiter couldn't work out what to do and took a really long time to bring the bills. The manager also said theyd compensate us for some drinks but didn't and we had to ask.
I had a table reserved on Friday 14th December with some clients for breakfast at 11am. Due to some of them running late we didn't manage to place our order until 11.30am. Upon ordering we were told that there were no sausages left for the breakfasts, which left two of the group dissatisfied, only for us to be then told that two people could have sausages, so we ordered and were looking forward to eating. Around two minutes later the manager returned to tell us that our order could no longer be fulfilled as the chef had decided it came through too late (11.31am) and they stop serving breakfast at 11.30am...which we were not told at the time. To say we were all a bit miffed by this would be an understatement, apparently the chef now how a larger lunch group to concentrate on and wouldn't cook our order. We were told we could order from the lunch menu if we wished but that couldn't happen until 12pm which would have meant a 25 minute wait to do so. Unsurprisingly we left as 2 of the party had another meeting to attend across London later on. I will say that the front of house staff were pleasant, and the manager who explained why we couldn't have our food was professional, polite and apologetic about the incident, but as a group, we just found the chefs stance on the issue completely unacceptable and frankly quite petty to be honest.
To start there was no one in reception we had to search for someone and there was quite a queue.
Service was very slow.
Chips with one dinner were cold and the new portion ordered never materialised but they did on the bill !
Charge had to be taken off the bill when we pointed this out. A glass of wine was offered in exchange for the chips that never arrived.
No dessert menu offered. Serving of drinks was quite slow.
Food was good and enjoyable apart from the above.
Good service, great for sport (rugby) excellent food. Will definitely visit again
I booked a table for two recently for a friends birthday, requesting on the booking for candle in the dessert I would order.
When I got there, we were put in between two in-use tables when there were plenty of free tables elsewhere, so it was crammed. We weren't given any specials or recommendations and we had to flag over someone to order our drinks. When our food came out 30 mins or so after ordering (a salad and sandwich), they both had missing key ingredients so we asked to send them back. They took quite a while to come back. When I ordered dessert, it came out without a candle and I wouldn't have asked in front of my friend for one, so this was disappointing in as I wouldn't have ordered one otherwise. It was the pana cotta which look like cat/dog food and was not the right texture at all, it also didn't taste right.
I don't understand why you have the option to put in a special occasion when booking if the experience is as ordinary as a normal meal out?!
Wouldn't eat here again.
We were very well looked after. Food was great and slight problems sorted out immediately.
Great place to watch football and hang with friends over a drink and some sumptuous food.
We had a resi for 945p - when we arrived we were told the kitchen closed at 9p. Why were we able to make a reservation and why didn’t anyone call us to alert us? They had our reservation in their system and had my phone number.
We were sat at our table at 1645 and told the menus would be over soon. 1715 an still no menus, drinks or anything else. We didn’t wait any longer to find out if they would be coming, awful service!
Slow service although polite staff. Average and over priced food
Great place for a Business breakfast - directly opposite Victoria Tube entrance.
Breakfasts superb and excellent and friendly service.
Service wasn’t great, food was fine and atmosphere was good for sports fans.
Very disappointed with service and salmon dish was very undercooked but we not charged for it.. however we were not expecting this s in an establishment of this standard
Limited burger/pizza type menu but disappointing desserts-banoffee Sundae was just cream with little ice cream or toffee sauce. Nice staff but long wait to be served (staff were very busy but it would have been better to take our order rather than lay the neighbouring table) although food came out quickly once our order had been taken. The food was good but disappointing that on a Saturday early evening they had run out of the BBQ burgers. Fun atmosphere but very noisy with TV screens showing multiple different sports. More a bar with tables and food than a restaurant.
Went for pre-theatre food. Nice looking bar / restaurant, friendly staff and good service. Wasn't any topical sport being shown at time so wasn't too busy or loud
I went on Sunday with my friend for my birthday for dinner. I did mention on the website that it was my birthday but nothing ever happened. Service was very poor, kept asking for things (such as water for the table, sauces ) that would either never come, or come much later. Few other mistakes were made such as wrong side for my friend's burger (wrong fries) , and inappropriate wine serving. After finishing our mains we fancied ordering desserts but one of the waitress said that the kitchen was already closed. Shouldn't the kitchen be open for people still with mains on the table ? And closed for new walk-ins? Or we could have at least been worn that it will close soon so we can order desserts whilst still eating mains. Not a successful birthday dinner but the food that we had was really good .
They called me the day before to check i was still coming. I confirmed i was.
I arrived to be told they had no gas and so the kitchen was closed.
Sadly they did not bother to phone me and tell me. And i know they had my number.
Poor service, yes.
Firstly we came here to watch live football. Its always packed when the football is on so if you want a good spot come early. 2nd time we came we booked a table to eat while we watch the match. Service is not up to scratch every 2min a waiter came to our table with drinks that were not ours. Burger was good but chips were cold and soggy. Will return though for the bar and football scene as its great, will not eat here though.
Great afternoon and evening. We had the bottomless brunch which was fantastic value. The prosecco just kept coming without any prompting! Food was excellent and a great menu. We stayed on into the evening to watch a game and bagged brilliant seats thanks to really kind and helpful waiting staff. We realised what good deal the brunch was when we bought more prosecco - £35 per bottle!!! A bit steep for my liking but we had a good time and wouldn't hesitate to go back.
Always a great place to watch sport.
Great Place to have lunch and early kick off a Premier League Football match
