Turkey burger again, always good. Very polite service, nice greeter. Some of the items seem a bit pricey, such as when you add a protein to a salad, the salad can get up to $25 or so. Everything else is good about this place.
The menu has such a wide variety’ making it great for any appetite and the service is beyond great!
We enjoyed the ambiance, good service and great food!!
It was a great spot to celebrate my birthday.
Very pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was very fresh and ingredients were tasty. Great free valet parking and plenty of outdoor seating if you prefer. Be sure to make reservations as restaurant does get quite busy for dinners. Loved it and will be back often!
The food is excellent, with an excellent mix of sandwiches, entrees, salads, vegetarian, - something for everyone. The avocado toast was outstanding. IT did get a little noisy when all the tables were filled.
Always a great experience at Greenwood - the delicious food, the excellent service and ambiance both inside and outside (weather permitting) makes it one of our favorite restaurants to frequent, and we do so quite frequently. I recommend it highly as the varied menu offers something for everyone and it NEVER disappoints.
The place is always busy but I don’t know why. I think it is the big outdoor patio. The food is okay but nothing special. Our server was great but the hostess team is not very together.
It was ok. The goat cheese appetizer was good, but the filet, ahi tuna and pulled chicken severely lacking in flavor, finesse and presentation.
Service was cold, slow and inattentive, almost off putting. Server seemed annoyed by simple questions about the menu.
Urban vibe, hip but warm. Generous delicious salads & desserts. Amazing cornbread & cocktails.
Loved it! Joey was a wonderful waiter and made the experience fun!
Great food! Great ambience! D.R. was a great server!
Always a great dining experience. Great food and service always.
The turkey burger was amazing!
Greenwood Inn is a very nice restaurant with great atmosphere.
Great for and ambiance.
1st Time at Greenwood...best thing were the fries. Dinner salad tiny. My wife's entree salad
was not that good. The burger was alright...better burgers around town. The most surprising thing about
this place was the vodka rocks. Considering its in highwood, the drink was way too chincy, small, measured.
That alone prevents me from wanting to repeat. It is a very nice restaurant and a nice patio!
Our server Joey was good.
We would not go back unless in the area and others want to try for themselves.
Can not recommend...several much much better places in highwood.
Greenwood presents a lovely, spacious, elegant setting and a limited menu that is solidly "good," but not outstanding or memorable. The soft-shelled crabs were overpowered by a giant bun and a green sauce that was tasty but did not allow the full flavor of the crab to shine through. Likewise, the filet mignon was fine but did not stand out. The "cauliflower steak" my vegetarian daughter had was basically a head of cauliflower cut in half and grilled. A fabulous sauce was missing and could have enhanced the taste. We enjoyed the heated dark-chocolate brownie with the restaurant's own soft-serve ice cream. I would return for the ambience but sit at the bar for a beer or cocktail (the cucumber-infused Tom Collins was great) and a burger.
Greenwood is a great new take on contemporary American dining in a fresh space. The newly expanded and open air setting is the perfect summer complement to the stylish main dining area and is a nice draw while the weather lasts. Bravo!
Great food, great service. We were twice there in the one week with friends and not disappointed.
Great restaurant Good food friendly wait staff and most delicous corn bread.
What a fun, lively spot. Food and service were top drawer. Can’t wait to dine there again!
Really enjoyed Cobb salad , chicken sandwich ok but messy. Nice drinks. Wish they had beer on tap but bottled pretty creative. Beautiful space and pleasant outdoor patio (when not raining ha!). Worth a try!
Birthday dinner. Wonderful, as always!
Great service. Wonderful food. Something for everyone.
Greenwood continues to be my favorite restaurant in the area!
We've eaten here twice and enjoyed it very much both times. It does tend to get very load when it fills up with patrons but it's still a nice atmosphere. Food is very good and the service friendly and helpful.
More Fish options would be great. Great atmosphere, and the service is wonderful.
Had a very nice meal on a quiet Sunday night. Turkey burger always very good; Ahi tuna salad was also good. Some items are well-priced and some are not. You can end up paying $21-23 if you add a protein to a salad... but otherwise, nice menu and nice service.
We went for Saturday lunch. Their patio is very attractive, but we asked to sit at the open folding doors so we could be sheltered from the wind but still feel we were outside. They immediately agreed that we could sit in that section although no other patrons were sitting there. The menu is fabulous for lunch. We chose a couple of sandwiches which they served already cut in half since we said we were sharing. That's the kind of attention to detail that goes a long way. The sandwiches came with delicious fries which thankfully were hot and the sandwich side salad was extremely creative and fresh and more than enough for two of us to share. We also tried their sangria which we would recommend. All in all, a great lunch with good service and in a new attractive environment including free parking in the rear of the restaurant. We will definitely recommend Greenwood to all our friends.
Waiter didn’t come for 25 minutes. Yet bus girl visited with water at least 3 times. Had to literally flag him down. No apologies. Someone else delivered drinks. Later on he forgot to bring another drink. Even when most of the place emptied he was still checked out. At least admit you’re in the weeds.
Prose: pleasant ambiance
Cons: slow service; our server was inattentive, empty dishes have been sitting on the table for a while, we had to take clean plates from the table next to us; food was either over cooked or had funky sour taste; we ordered 3 lattes and it tasted like water with milk. Then we asked to replace them with one cappuccino ( which tasted and looked more like latte) and one regular coffee. The server seemed to be upset that we asked to replace those horrible lattes and didn’t even bother to take them off the bill.
I definitely do not recommend it to anyone. There are so many other places in the neighborhood with good quality service and food.
Soft serve ice cream desert served to share amongst 3 diners, yet was brought plates instead of bowls
Over the top dining
I hope they continue their lunch menu
A lovely spot for lunch or dinner
Our table was partially outdoors and in a perfect location as temperatures were expected to drop
As night went on...our server Alexus was great friendly and attentive....Had Avacado Toast as an appetizer
And it was very tasty...Fish was our entrees and were cooked exactly as ordered along with sautéed Brussels sprouts ; all in all a wonderful meal
We love Greenwood. Love the veggie options. This particular night we ordered lots of appetizers (way too much for just the two of us) but it was fun. . . and I recommend doing it
Everything was fun about the night- we like the cross section of diners- families with children and seniors as well
Definitely on our "we will return list"
The large flat screen TVs throughout the restaurant ruins the ambiance of this warm modern environment. The smaller room off the main bar has a ridiculously large flat screen. If u want this to be a bar then DON’T seat dinner guests in this space! Food is delicious.
I love Greenwood! Indoor/outdoor seating on a beautiful evening. My favorite is the avocado toast, I tired the new scallop appetizer special which was delicious, lastly the build your own sundae...yum!
