Greenstreet Cafe Ratings and Reviews
Greenstreet is by far the best restaurant in the grove. Great outdoor atmosphere, fantastic menu choices, and friendly outgoing waiters make it my wife’s and my must place to eat when we visit from Cleveland. It’s simply got everything you’re looking for in one outstanding restaurant
I forgot how small the menu was. The food is good. We ended up outside and unfortunately after our dinner came, a couple sat down at the table beside us and lit up cigarettes as they looked over the menu. The server was good about moving the fan to help the smoke stay away from us, but it just ended up going to someone else.
The service was very friendly and polite, though the cocktails didn't come exceptionally quickly.
Overall, qualms and criticisms are very minor. I do recommend Green Street Cafe for a very good Coconut Grove dining experience. Good food, good service, good atmosphere.
This meal was very good indeed. My partner had baked oysters followed by fillet steak and I had chicken wings followed by lamb chops all of which were excellent although the lamb chops were different temperatures some nice and pink and one a little over cooked. Desserts were fab too. Meal was that good we have been for breakfast twice. BEWARE BEWARE I have just checked my reciepts witb my card statement and breakfast today has been charged at more than I signed for.. I added a tip above 20% and they have taken more, I must also say that the service this morning was not as good as the previous times as we were left through our whole meal without drinks refilled and did not see our server until we had finished eating. If we go here again before we go home I will most certainly mention the overcharge on principle.
We had the carmelized onion flatbread, the fig salad, and a burger & fries. Everything was delicious. I had a sangria also very good. I like Greenstreet because I was able to sit out side with my dog with no problem. Our waiter wa amazing. Overall a great experience
The restaurant is very nice. Outdoor seating available to be part of CG happy bustle. Service was great. But the meat was severely undercooked. A burger we asked for well done was literally rare. The skirt steak asked for medium was also rare. You can return it to the kitchen but I hate doing that. It sets the whole group meal off. The rare burger was inexcusable.
Over the top fantastic staff and service. My husband and I had lunch at bar and with two fantastic bar tenders. Food is very fresh and delicious. We took friends back their for dinner later in the week. Please come open one in Naples. It would be very successful
Wonderful hostess, excellent waiter, delicious food, no complaints - the weather is mild and we wanted to be outside- the only distraction was that our table was literally an inch away from the curb and I was aware of traffic, pedestrians, exhaust, my purse falling in the street, etc....
My wife had the salmon I had the flank steak and my daughter had pasta w/ shrimp and garlic all three dishes were outstanding.
Out server Marcella was outstanding and also very generous.
My daughter is attending u Miami and we were having one last family meal before we headed back to Boston.
We chose to have the brownie ala mode, and Marcella was kind enough to treat my daughter to the dessert at no charge as a welcome to u Miami.
Overall a great and satisfactory experience.
I can't say enough about Marcella her service was exemplary.
It's rare when you dine out and feel you received value commensurate with what you've paid for.
Went twice in one week and I didn't have a good experience. For brunch my toasts came extremely burned and the omelette was just okay nothing extraordinary and the butter knife was dirty before we even touched it. What was really frustrating was after an hour and half wait to get a table I get a call that the table is ready and I get there immediately just to find out that they had given my table away and I had to hope that there was an available table. Once I was finally seated it took 45 minutes to get my food after I ordered just for an omelette and orange juice. The table I was given was way too small for 4 people that we had to rearrange the whole place settings just to barely fit our plates in. I dont recommend actually going here for the food or service when there's so many better places to eat.
Demmie ( or maybe Cemmie?) was our server and she was phenomenal. All her recommendations were awesome. We have dined often here. Hummus has always been our staple appetizer. However, that has all changed since she recommended the Truffle Brie appetizer. It is incredible. I made a meal out of it. The chorizo pizza was great. Salmon filet was wonderful!
