   The chops, Salmon, shrimp and grits, greens and Turkey, pecan cornbread, catfish and sweet potato grits are highly recommended.

   Heard so many great things about this place and was excited to try it. However, didn’t realize our 1:15 reservation on last Sunday was right before the 2:00 closing. Chicken was dry, sweet potato hash was shriveled up cold and no seasoning, greens mediocre, Belgian waffle was flat and peaches not tender. Was a warmed over waffle. Fried corn was dry canned corn with some little Chile’s. Sent it back. Lemonade and tea had no flavor. Started with lemonade alone; not good. Asked for Arnold Palmer and even worse. Needed up with grape kool-aid and lemonade together. Not bad. If you are restaurant, food should be good throughout your service. Especially when you say it’s cooked fresh. Very disappointed. Overpriced, far from good food.

   Really good place. I loved the cornbread, biscuits, and fried chicken. Whoever is making their music playlist is my best friend I knew and loved every song ! Also very affordable! I will be back !

   Food was awesome however my wait was ridiculous!! We waited almost 1 1/2 for our food!! Luckily I drove a hour & 1/2 and was too hungry to leave!!!!!

   This was a great experience. I saw the owner via YouTube videos and I knew I had to visit! The food, that I had, was incredible. I the only thing that could have been improved was the Kool aide and the banana pudding; they were very sweet. If you could dial back a little on the sugar, it would be perfection, for me at least. I know that it’s difficult to please every palate, so take the feedback with a grain of salt! Thanks for everything!

   Unfortunately, there was a shortage of Greens 🥬 and I could NOT have the Collard Greens Lasagna. Hopefully, things will get better and I will get that chance when I get the chance to go back. Also, glad I used Open Table...it was a rainy night and folks were being turned away.

   Most food was old or over cooked (i.e., greens with bacon, brussel sprouts, sweet tea, lemonade. Server was inattentive.

   Date night with the hubby. This is for sure the best restaurant we’ve tried in 2018. We had 5 o’clock reservations, they opened on time. They played 90’s R&B which was awesome since my husband and I grew up on that. Ash the waiter was prompt, attentive and overall an excellent waiter. And the food...my husband said two things that summed it all up. 1. It would make you slap your WHOLE family. 2. Every single chef and cook has a special anointing. Drop the mic, this place was awesome. Cornbread✅ Fried chicken✅ Mac & cheese✅ Braised greens✅ Fried corn with bacon✅ Whipped sweet potatoes✅ Biscuits✅ Sweet tea✅

   Great innovative souls food menu. Side dishes were just OK, but the entrees were exceptional.

    I’m assuming the day I went was an off day. I’ve been on a perfect day. I would go again I understand the ups and downs. Some waters were very nice some were mediocre.
