The best part of this place was the food was actually quite good.
However, I'm pretty sure this was the worst service I've ever experienced, and as some who frequently travels and dines out, that's saying something. It was like the waiter never even listened to a trying anyone ordered, and when we asked for the check, it took over 30 minutes just to get that.
Because of the horrible service, even with the good food, sadly I don't desire going back. Hopefully the chef can find a great place to cook where the service matches, then I'll be there!
Great ambiance, live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Perfect for dates, celebrations, dinner, lunch... Amazing menu options and great mojitos. Late hours become very loud an crowded but the crowd is not too young and crazy like in most club scenes. My new favorite spot 📍
Beautifully designed space and furniture, but unfortunately poorly executed. Our waiter was terrific and tried so hard to overcome the shortcomings of the kitchen staff - and I applaud him for it. 2/6 meals were prepared wrong - one was not even the right order. 2 meals were cold by the time they were presented. The drinks took > 25 minutes to be prepared by the bar staff when the restaurant was clearly very slow. The price point was excellent, but at the end of the day, you go there to eat and the execution was poor. I really wanted to like this place and might try again to see if it was an off day.
Who knew Greenhouse Bistro was the place to be on a Friday, unless you have children! We had gone to the Cirque du Soleil show and chose the Bistro because they offered late dinner reservations, yet upon arriving at 1030pm, the doorman would not let us in because my daughter is 14. Luckily the manager immediately stepped in and allowed us to dine, learning that we had a res through Open Table (and drove from an hour away). What we didn't know is that it was basically a nightclub at that time, with live music, dancing, etc. Once we got settled, we were greeted by a wonderful young lady (couldn't hear her name for the music) who quickly took our orders. The menu had a good selection of various cuisines from Mediterranean to Asian to American, & the prices were very reasonable. Everything arrived quickly and was expertly prepared. The stars for us were the Seared Scallops, the Pollo Cubano and the Seafood Alfredo. We will definitely return, just earlier in the day if we have kids in tow.
Awful service. They screwed up our order, took the manager to fix. Would HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND. staff completely incompetent 😡. bad lighting
Waitress had no knowledge of the food menu or wines, she was not attentive. She was aloof and incapable. Service is bad in almost every way. Ordered steak rare and it arrived well done. She never bothered to ask how it came out.
Too pricey and average taste food. Very less quantity of food for very high prices.
Ambiance was good, but the service was not that great.
Despite reservation, table was not set up. Every time I've been to the restaurant, every aspect of service is slow.
The food was good but the service was very slow.
Great vibes, good music and wonderful sexy women. Strongly recommend you to check it out.
My husband and I really like Greenhouse Bistro but the service leaves a lot to be desired. I wish the service was better as it would really complete the whole experience.
Restaurant is still figuring itself out. One half bar, one half restaurant, one half club it offers a little of everything. My wife and I tried it because we were excited about the menu. Went on a Saturday night of a home team playoff hockey game to also watch on tv (since they have tv's every 2 ft aligning the whole place). Arrived before our reservation, no one greeted us for 10 min and when hostess appeared, she told us our reservation was canceled because we were late. She begrudgingly sat us (2ppl) because "restaurant is full of just reservations" and we were literally only the third table seated. Ordered drinks to start and after waiting for 20min I went to the bar, asked for our drinks and waiter came rushing over apologetically. TVs had Family Feud on so I asked to change the channel, which they did. But then a band set up and started playing too (they were good). Again, restaurant literally offered a little of everything but not focused on one aspect. Food was fine - not great but not bad. Not a date place but great for large groups.
The party , the food and the music was really good. But I had a reservation for 10
People and when we get there, the waiter told me that they have a table just for 8, also you guys pick our drink without finish them before time to close and without notice . I took yo the manager and he told they they don't gonna charge that but you guys still charge, I call and you guys are gonna return but there's always problems with the bills, always you guys charge more, and that happens to
My friends that, so I will recommend you to pay more attention on this problem because the place it's really good. Thank you
Mother's Day brunch food was very average. Service was ok. Plates were not that clean.
Went for Mother’s Day. The only food option was a $40/person breakfast buffet. They tried to charge us for a 6 month old baby (who doesn’t eat real food) and then acted like they were doing us a huge favor by taking the $40 off for that. Waited over 30 minutes for drinks when the wait staff didn’t even have to take food orders since it was a buffet. Literally the ONLY thing they had to do was serve drinks. It wasn’t even crowded so not sure what the excuse was. Never saw a manager or anything. Over $200 for 4 adults to eat breakfast.
Mothers Day Brunch. Minimal buffet selection for the high cost. Had to get own napkins and silverware. Despite having three pans Omelette bar station person would only make one omelette at a time leading to long lines, and wouldn't pay attention to what people were asking for. The station also had limited omelette ingredients. The waffle bar station guy was trying much harder to accommodate the lines but the waffle machines were not working. Waffles were also not very good. The marinated lamb was overlooked and dry. The bacon was undercooked. The pastries were the kind you get at a free breakfast at the Fairfield Inn.
Overall, just a very disappointing visit.
We were not told upon making our reservation that there would only be a brunch buffet available- priced at $40 a person, it was way over priced. The French toast just sat out, not in a warmer, even the foods in warmers were cold. The food was fine, nothing spectacular. Staff didn’t seem to know what was going on, but were very nice nonetheless. The decor was super sparse. They don’t seem to know the direction they want to go in- are they farm to table? American bistro? Italian? Middle eastern nightclub? Sports bar? Tea room? For what could be a really cool spot, it is unfortunately, not worth the trip.
There were 4 of us for Mother’s Day. We were there right after they opened and they were busy yet. Our server never came by and he added the gratuity to the check. Food wasn’t bad but overall, a lousy experience.
Service was not good. Our waiter barely understood us and didn’t look happy at all. Didn’t introduce himself and rarely checked up on us. The busboy did more for us than the waiter did. Food was ok too. And no one seemed know how to honor a 10 dollar off reward I got for getting the green house app.
The service was MIA and slow when the restaurant was very slow. Greek salad promising heirlooms served beefsteaks for 11$! My friend found a piece of rope or metal in her calamari, and it was compensated and we got complimentary coffee. Ambiance was unique and I like the plants. Bathroom seemed like a decor after thought. Parking is limited. Over all too pricey for what you get.
We went and waited 25 minutes at the hostess station and no one ever came to seat us so we left. They had self seating in the bar but the dinner area was empty and nobody was working though we went during the dinner time and went with 2 younger kids
Service was average at best. Not the most attentive staff (at least our waitress) - it was an odd mix of a lot of pressure on us to order and then large gaps of time without attention.
The ambiance was interesting - it becomes a club later in the evening and it was nice to have the music and dancing area.
Concept is nice but failed on delivery, small menu and service was not friendly or warm
Great Food, Great atmosphere, Great Fun
If you made a reservation make sure to be there at least 1/2 hour before , I had my reservation at 10:00pm , arrived 5 mins before but got my table 30 mins after that.
Extremely disappointed with the service. Waited almost 20 minutes to order and had to go find another server to take our order. Received our check and was told you can't split it and we were to tell him before. Meanwhile our server was never around for us even to mention it. Another sever had to take our bill to cash us out. A few of us were visiting from out of town and it ended up being a disappointing night.
Had a surprise birthday dinner there and the staff and room couldn't have been better.
Looking for an undiscovered Tyson’s gem for farm to table lunch get together because Founding Farmers, Ten Penh, Harthq already fully booked. Wanting to try something new, I chose Greenhouse Bistro since It was close to center and had a 4 star rating. Sadly, Our experience was very disappointing. First sign was entirely empty dining spaces when we arrived at 12:30 pm Sunday. 2nd sign was that the online daily lunch menu was not available Sunday, only a standard brunch menu. Overall, food was tired and lifeless, and server mostly stayed by the bar, about 30 feet away. My friends may naver trust me to arrange a restaurant date again! Back to Wildfire Grill?
Food was ok, nothing special and overpriced. The bartender denied preparing drinks because "Take too long and he was very busy".
The happy hour noise was unbelivable!
The service and food are nothing special!
I was recommended by a friend but I would not recommend this place for dinner, lunch etc only for late night dance. The music was good and the environment too but the service wasn't good at all, the waiter tried to help but he couldn't manage with the orders. To begin with, the manager was rude, unprofessional and did not show any hospitality. He was demanding to spent a certain amount per person otherwise we had to leave the tables, charged me for the cakes I brought without saying anything at the moment I made the reservation. To add more the food and drinks were not tasty and were expensive. It was one waiter for almost 30 people in my group. I went to have fun and enjoy my bday but the manager ruined my night for that I won't come back there neither my 29 friends. I am very disappointed. I agree if things are said in advance, like policies, rules etc but nothing was said at the moment of the reservation. I worked in Restaurants, I go to Restaurants and obviously the manager failed doing his job.
Great food, music and service.
I took my daughter for Valentine’s Day dinner. I had GE 4 course tasting menu, and she ordered a la carte. She had a Caesar salad as an appetizer, which was fresh and tasty. I had GE butternut ravioli, which was delicious. My first course was the lentil soup with braised short ribs which was an additional charge. I would highly recommend this dish. For entrees, she had the blackened salmon which was cooked perfectly, and was delicious. I had the branzino, which was also delicious. Finally, I had the tiramisu with a decaf cappuccino, which were perfect exclamations to a great meal. I had been looking forward to the mango sorbet, but the tiramisu was the dessert choice. I’m looking forward to having the sorbet when I return. While the restaurant in in a large space, I could easily hear my daughter, even when the band began playing.
I would recommend Greenhouse enthusiastically, and look forward to returning.
Great food & wine. Love to sit at the bar to enjoy the ambience and great service by Pablo. Have recommended the Greenhouse to numerous friends who have come, dined and returned.
Worst service EVER . I will never return. The waitress was rude at all times. She brought us the wrong food and when I told her she was upset. the bartender was very Rude too. Apart from that, the account is divided and the waitress charged the tip she wanted. I will never go back
Met friends early for dinner, food was excellent, service was super.
I made a reservation for 10 but later on they called me with a reservation for 6 einstead. We end up with seating for 8
It was my aunt's birthday and she had an amazing time!
Everything was great! the only disappointment was the fact that I made a reservation for 6 people and the hostless gave my table to someone else. We had 2 options- to wait another table and wait another 20-30 mins or seat on a small table, we opted to seat on a table for 4 people. I just dont understand what was the point of having a reservation.
Food is awsome and serive as well the place feels fresh and alive
