Great local place for dinner with nice ambience. All menu items we ordered were very tasty! I would return here again!
Great place in Vienna/Tyson’s corner area! Come for dinner, and stay for drinks. There’s a separate lounge on one side of the restaurant with a completely different nightclub vibe. Very cool space, cool staff, and good food.
Went on Xmas Eve, so it was very quiet, but I suspect when it's busy, it would be VERY noisy. Food was really very good, tuna request was perfect! Looks more like an after-work hot spot.
Birthdays. Very welcoming service, good food & fun dancing!
food was amazing!
Liked the duo playing piano and drums on Friday. If you want to chat though, it gets noisy.
Food was good and service OK. A couple of errors coming from the kitchen that were promptly fixed.
Overall the experience was alright. Our waitress was very rude though. I don’t remember her name but she said we had to order food because she was alrighty waiting 15 mins for our whole party to get here. She seemed annoyed of our table even though we were very patient with her nasty attitude. I don’t really write these but we went last Saturday at 7pm and we were a party of 9. So regardless she was gonna get a good tip but she did not have a nice personality and if it wasn’t for the gratituty that had to be put in, I would not have given her a tip.
What an unexpected pleasure it was to dine there! It was a great place to have lunch with colleagues. I never knew this place existed! The cozy lounge area would be a nice place to grab a drink after work.
Looked forward to it based on their description of being farm-to-market, but the style of the place seemed disjointed, especially with all the TVs everywhere. Food was good, not great, with the exception of the Panna Cotta dessert.
The food was fine. Not impressive, but fine. If you like a million TV sets while dining, this place is for you. We went at what I guess was an odd time: lunch with only one other table seated at the restaurant. Service was a disappearing act though the server was pleasant. I assume she's more on top of things when it's busy, but with just us we got ignored, particularly when it was time to pay.
Service was painfully slow and while our server was kind, she was very uninformed and unable to answer basic questions. Her timing was also off and at one point she was chatting with a male server socially for several minutes while she watched us trying to get her attention. We were polite and kind throughout the experience but we were highly disappointed on many levels. For the price we paid for dinner and drinks we could have gone to other high end restaurants in Tyson’s or Vienna and had far better service and ambiance. The noise was pure chaos. Loud private parties seated in the main dining area, super sleazy men loudly talking about sleeping with escorts and debasing women. Women dressed like escorts during the dinner hour with one woman reaching across our table with her mid section and rear-end in my friend’s dining space while she chatted obnoxiously with the table next to us. The first round of drinks was very good and then the second round was undrinkable. The replacement drinks weren’t even the drinks we ordered. The food was actually very good but the experience was lacking on so many levels. We arrived for a 7pm dinner reservation and it felt more like we were at a late night after hours place full of inexperienced staff and patrons with no home training. It’s Tyson’s, not Las Vegas. This was so bad that I had to repeatedly apologize to my friend because I was the one who suggested we try this restaurant.
I ask of you to put on a Public Announcements About The Dress Code for The Evening so that the Stuff don't ruin peoples Night. I saw many people not been able to getting in with Tennis Shoes (Including my Group of Friends) where as its your Obligation to Put on Publicly What Is Allowed to Be Ware and What Is Not!!! Please I ask of you kindly to do so.
Parking is a bit inconvenient having to walk from behind the building around to the front. Noise level is louder than I like. Food was okay but not really worth the price.
I love the the feel of the place its great, modern and appropriate. The service was amazing the only thing that I did not enjoy was not being able to really hear the people we where having a conversation with. We picked this place with out knowing that it had live music or loud music playing in the background. Maybe we should have done more research we where there for a business dinner/meeting. Overall everything was good. The menu has a little of everything which made it impossible to choose from all the great items in the menu but food was great. Would visit again
Greenhouse bistro was delicious!! Went here on Saturday evening with a friend I have not seen in a while. The service was exceptional. The waiter knew everything Bout the drink and dinner menu! The food was spectacular!! Thanks guys!!! Good job!!
The service was ok. Not that great. Most of the time our glasses were empty. Barely anyone came the check up on us and the waitress refused to let us get seperate checks for our meals. We also felt rushed at the end by the wait staff.
Our server Mauricio was great with beer and food suggestions!!! He made my date feel very special thanks guys!!we love it
Great service. Fantastic ambience. Great happy hour prices.
The best part of this place was the food was actually quite good.
However, I'm pretty sure this was the worst service I've ever experienced, and as some who frequently travels and dines out, that's saying something. It was like the waiter never even listened to a trying anyone ordered, and when we asked for the check, it took over 30 minutes just to get that.
Because of the horrible service, even with the good food, sadly I don't desire going back. Hopefully the chef can find a great place to cook where the service matches, then I'll be there!
The ambience was great, food was good but the service was terrible. I will go only to dance and drinks at the bar. I don’t think I will be going anymore for food with friends.
Great ambiance, live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Perfect for dates, celebrations, dinner, lunch... Amazing menu options and great mojitos. Late hours become very loud an crowded but the crowd is not too young and crazy like in most club scenes. My new favorite spot 📍
Beautifully designed space and furniture, but unfortunately poorly executed. Our waiter was terrific and tried so hard to overcome the shortcomings of the kitchen staff - and I applaud him for it. 2/6 meals were prepared wrong - one was not even the right order. 2 meals were cold by the time they were presented. The drinks took > 25 minutes to be prepared by the bar staff when the restaurant was clearly very slow. The price point was excellent, but at the end of the day, you go there to eat and the execution was poor. I really wanted to like this place and might try again to see if it was an off day.
Who knew Greenhouse Bistro was the place to be on a Friday, unless you have children! We had gone to the Cirque du Soleil show and chose the Bistro because they offered late dinner reservations, yet upon arriving at 1030pm, the doorman would not let us in because my daughter is 14. Luckily the manager immediately stepped in and allowed us to dine, learning that we had a res through Open Table (and drove from an hour away). What we didn't know is that it was basically a nightclub at that time, with live music, dancing, etc. Once we got settled, we were greeted by a wonderful young lady (couldn't hear her name for the music) who quickly took our orders. The menu had a good selection of various cuisines from Mediterranean to Asian to American, & the prices were very reasonable. Everything arrived quickly and was expertly prepared. The stars for us were the Seared Scallops, the Pollo Cubano and the Seafood Alfredo. We will definitely return, just earlier in the day if we have kids in tow.
Awful service. They screwed up our order, took the manager to fix. Would HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND. staff completely incompetent 😡. bad lighting
Waitress had no knowledge of the food menu or wines, she was not attentive. She was aloof and incapable. Service is bad in almost every way. Ordered steak rare and it arrived well done. She never bothered to ask how it came out.
Too pricey and average taste food. Very less quantity of food for very high prices.
Ambiance was good, but the service was not that great.
Despite reservation, table was not set up. Every time I've been to the restaurant, every aspect of service is slow.
The food was good but the service was very slow.
Great vibes, good music and wonderful sexy women. Strongly recommend you to check it out.
My husband and I really like Greenhouse Bistro but the service leaves a lot to be desired. I wish the service was better as it would really complete the whole experience.
Restaurant is still figuring itself out. One half bar, one half restaurant, one half club it offers a little of everything. My wife and I tried it because we were excited about the menu. Went on a Saturday night of a home team playoff hockey game to also watch on tv (since they have tv's every 2 ft aligning the whole place). Arrived before our reservation, no one greeted us for 10 min and when hostess appeared, she told us our reservation was canceled because we were late. She begrudgingly sat us (2ppl) because "restaurant is full of just reservations" and we were literally only the third table seated. Ordered drinks to start and after waiting for 20min I went to the bar, asked for our drinks and waiter came rushing over apologetically. TVs had Family Feud on so I asked to change the channel, which they did. But then a band set up and started playing too (they were good). Again, restaurant literally offered a little of everything but not focused on one aspect. Food was fine - not great but not bad. Not a date place but great for large groups.
The party , the food and the music was really good. But I had a reservation for 10
People and when we get there, the waiter told me that they have a table just for 8, also you guys pick our drink without finish them before time to close and without notice . I took yo the manager and he told they they don't gonna charge that but you guys still charge, I call and you guys are gonna return but there's always problems with the bills, always you guys charge more, and that happens to
My friends that, so I will recommend you to pay more attention on this problem because the place it's really good. Thank you
Mother's Day brunch food was very average. Service was ok. Plates were not that clean.
Went for Mother’s Day. The only food option was a $40/person breakfast buffet. They tried to charge us for a 6 month old baby (who doesn’t eat real food) and then acted like they were doing us a huge favor by taking the $40 off for that. Waited over 30 minutes for drinks when the wait staff didn’t even have to take food orders since it was a buffet. Literally the ONLY thing they had to do was serve drinks. It wasn’t even crowded so not sure what the excuse was. Never saw a manager or anything. Over $200 for 4 adults to eat breakfast.
Mothers Day Brunch. Minimal buffet selection for the high cost. Had to get own napkins and silverware. Despite having three pans Omelette bar station person would only make one omelette at a time leading to long lines, and wouldn't pay attention to what people were asking for. The station also had limited omelette ingredients. The waffle bar station guy was trying much harder to accommodate the lines but the waffle machines were not working. Waffles were also not very good. The marinated lamb was overlooked and dry. The bacon was undercooked. The pastries were the kind you get at a free breakfast at the Fairfield Inn.
Overall, just a very disappointing visit.
We were not told upon making our reservation that there would only be a brunch buffet available- priced at $40 a person, it was way over priced. The French toast just sat out, not in a warmer, even the foods in warmers were cold. The food was fine, nothing spectacular. Staff didn’t seem to know what was going on, but were very nice nonetheless. The decor was super sparse. They don’t seem to know the direction they want to go in- are they farm to table? American bistro? Italian? Middle eastern nightclub? Sports bar? Tea room? For what could be a really cool spot, it is unfortunately, not worth the trip.
There were 4 of us for Mother’s Day. We were there right after they opened and they were busy yet. Our server never came by and he added the gratuity to the check. Food wasn’t bad but overall, a lousy experience.
Service was not good. Our waiter barely understood us and didn’t look happy at all. Didn’t introduce himself and rarely checked up on us. The busboy did more for us than the waiter did. Food was ok too. And no one seemed know how to honor a 10 dollar off reward I got for getting the green house app.
The service was MIA and slow when the restaurant was very slow. Greek salad promising heirlooms served beefsteaks for 11$! My friend found a piece of rope or metal in her calamari, and it was compensated and we got complimentary coffee. Ambiance was unique and I like the plants. Bathroom seemed like a decor after thought. Parking is limited. Over all too pricey for what you get.
We went and waited 25 minutes at the hostess station and no one ever came to seat us so we left. They had self seating in the bar but the dinner area was empty and nobody was working though we went during the dinner time and went with 2 younger kids
