    Always a pleasant experience at the Green Zebra. The service is very good, prompt and friendly. The food was delivered quickly (we had a 6pm booking on a Friday) and delicious. The outlook is beautiful overlooking the Mooloolah River.

    Very nice meals. It's a bit pricey but worth it. Meals are generous. Wait staff are nice. Souvlaki was missing the pomegranate seeds, which give it that bit extra. Burger was great. Snapper was great. Chips were lovely.

    Love the green zebra, fill up the salt grinders ;) Service at just the right times and the right intensity. Gluten free dining not a problem and lovely.

    Normally I’d enthusiastically recommend The Green Zebra unconditionally. We’ve dined there often and consider it ‘our local’. However, our experience last night was a little disappointing. We decided to take advantage of the Thursday Locals Night ‘Treat With Sweets’, which offers a complimentary shared dessert plate with any two main meals purchased. However, shortly after leaving, my husband realised that we’d been charged for dessert, despite meeting the conditions of the offer. We couldn’t be bothered returning to ask for a refund, but we’ll certainly remember to check our bill more carefully next time. Food and ambiance were still great but, having ordered a bottle of wine to share with our meal, when the waitress offered to pour our first glass, we noticed that the bottle was only half full. Unfortunately she didn’t notice and we had to point this out. She explained that she’d been given the wrong bottle and willingly got an unopened bottle. It’s just that the coincidence of these two things have made me slightly less relaxed about the staff’s usually excellent eye for detail and level of service.
