The ambiance won me over more than anything. Its a great space. I ordered the Sweet Potato, Wild Rice & Black-eyed Pea soup with Salmon (but the Salmon wasn't included - 1st miss from the server). I also ordered Edamame as a starter, but it didn't arrive - miss #2 from our server. The soup was ok, clearly a healthy option, but lacked flavor to make it memorable. Additional sides ordered by my table were very good - Brussel sprouts (yummy), seasoned nuts (tasty!). The menu interests me enough to return... and, we left before the entertainment started. Service was adequate but could have been better.

Lovely restaurant with healthy interesting food. The turkey chili was amazing! The parsnip and carrot fries were a bit limp. But The staff were friendly and the ambiance was charming. I will definitely return!

This was my second visit to Green Soul, and I was impressed this time as I was the last time. The food is both good and interesting. Service was attentive. Prices are reasonable. The live music was very tasteful, but it does become a little challenging to have a conversation when the musicians are performing.

The food was tasty. Appreciated the fact that the bottomless water donates to Flint, MI. The fried Brussel sprouts were delicious. Only setback was the fresh veggies my friend ordered didn’t appear to be washed well and there were pre-teens running around in the restaurant.

Inventive delicious food, great service. The kind of place you want to be a regular. Veggies “fries” and salads were excellent, kombucha cocktail delicious!

Wife didn’t like the food. She’s vegetarian and with a name like Green Soul we assumed that there would be more choices.

The aesthetic was very nuanced and unique. The food looked good and made you feel good because of its health factors. The staff was very friendly and personable.

My favorite new spot. I wish it was closer to my office, I would have lunch there every day. Healthy, delicious food. Very kind and pleasant staff. Next time I will be sure to come when there is live music. That would be the perfect trifecta!

Food was good. Felt rushed. We received our apps and salad before our bottle of wine! We were still eating our salads and our meals came! When server brought meals, I advised we felt like we were being rushed, and he said I apologize, and drop the plates and left. Not my idea of a nice relaxing dinner. Even though the food was good I probably will not go back because of this.

Great first experience overall, food was fresh, different and well prepared. The staff was pleasent and attentive. Would definitely come back again!

I enjoyed my dinner at Green Soul on 11/6 before my Steely Dan concert. Our server was attentive and pleasant. Brussel sprouts were delicious! I had the vegetarian soul salad with salmon. The salad was good; however the salmon was a bit overcooked. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and plan to be back again.

Our server Mogan was amazing!! I cant wait to go back!

Exceptionally well prepared food that is unique, healthy and delicious. Service is relaxed and comfortable and the atmosphere is a perfect compliment. This is a great spot, we visit it regularly and have never been anything but delighted.

Food was good enough, but service was extraordinarily slow. Never mind that we were one of 5 tables at the restaurant - it easily took 25 minutes for 2 salads to arrive, and my friend’s drink was completely forgotten. Would return but likely only for takeout.

Excellent place for great food, service, and music

The music was too loud, our food took forever to come out and it was average at best when it did. The chili was good. Everything else was like warm. I had to go toward the kitchen to receive our food. Our waiter was very nice, but that is about all I can positively say. We even have someone come up to us asking for money at our table. Really Awful experience. At the end of the meal, the manager came over with 4 coupons for a free drink for our NEXT time back. That will never happen.

Excellent vibe and food/drink choices. Love the small plates options - perfect for sharing! And the emphasis on healthy, local, sustainable ingredients, accented with a soul-food twist is refreshing and innovative. Highly recommend!

Upon arrival host was plea, table was right near stage which was great since we came to hear him. Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food & beer selection. Will be back!

I love Green Soul---love the ambience, the people, and the food. The music, however, was a little too loud for us (my friend and I both have hearing problems.) The food was delicious--- this time I had one main dish, and last time I had several small dishes and I think I prefer the smaller dishes---many different delicious tastes!

Absolutely had a wonderful experience at Green Soul and will be back. We had a party of 6 and were able to be seated upstairs as we wanted a little quieter seating as we were meeting one of the couples for the first time. The service was fabulous - all staff were pleasant, cheerful, attentive and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the dishes and the vibe of the restaurant.

Raven was absolutely wonderful. The food was very tasty. The crispy Brussels sprouts are a must. The Nola Jambalaya and Wild Caught Salmon were very delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly, very mouth watering and well seasoned. The Sweet Potato Donuts 🍩 and Soy vanilla ice cream 🍦are the best combinations. 🍽🍹

Great restaurant. Fantastic vibe. Delicious food and wine. Great music! Really enjoyed the crispy brussel sprouts, the North African chicken bowl, the BBQ pulled chicken sandwich and the pear crumble. We will be back!

Drinks took a long time

Green Soul was amazing. We sat at the bar, there was live music. Our bartender was really nice, he was fun, had a great smile. I got the tempura shrimp tacos and the brussel sprouts. Gorgeous. Had a creamy matcha vodka that was light and refreshing. I already can't wait to go back.

We had a great meal - starting w crispy brussel sprouts and carrot/parsnip fries. Northern African Cx was great as was shrimp tacos. Good service and reasonably priced wine/beer.

One of my top favorite spot and I encourage you to go if you want a soothing, relax, mouth feel and great experience. Please go and support because you will not be disappointed.

Food is really great for the prices at which it's offered. Went on a Saturday at 7:30 and the live music started shortly after. The music was great, though just a bit loud as we were seated right next to the stage. We live just a few blocks away and have been here many times. It rarely, if ever, disappoints. The service is always so friendly and even though it was quite busy on this Saturday evening, the servers were attentive and the food didn't take too long. My only complaint with this most recent visit is that they were out of the Impossible Burger, which is what I usually get there. However there have a bevy of other delicious choices so I wasn't too disappointed. We will definitely be back.... probably next weekend.

This was my second time coming to Green Soul and it was so nice. The food was delicious and the service was awesome. The music was sounding so good. I bought two of my friends with me and that was their first time and they enjoyed themselves too. This will not be our last time coming. I will definitely be referring others to Green Soul.

Waitress Promise was delightful! Food was delicious and I stuck to my healthy eating plan! Nice music going! Wonderful! Speedy service!
