Everything ok but nothing exceptional or memorible
Excellent meatloaf with a nice large portion - specialty on Tuesday. Beer menu great also. Varied menu with a lot of great looking choices.
Always such a great experience!! The food was fantastic as always and our waitress was very personable.
Amazing kitchen - everything was fabulous.
I had the divers scallops which were perfectly prepared, as was the mushroom ravioli. And try the house Smokin’ Old Fashioned!
The food is good, but the quality has really tumbled since the new Chef took the reins.
Been going here for years since it opened. They have a new chef since covid so I was missing a few of the staples - snail mushroom toast/ bone marrow toast but the new offerings are on par with the previous chef. I had chicken and biscuit which was incredible and the pork chop which was outstanding. Still the best spot in Arlington for brunch or dinner imo.
Very nice outdoor patio seat. Food is consistently good, specialty cocktails are also good.
Wait staff was attentive but didn't hover.
Prices are somewhat high, but portions are large so we took some home with us.
Such an outstanding time with each visit. Zach & team thank you for the love! 🍮🍷👌
Waiter was very attentive and helpful. Additionally, the food was delicious. We had lunch and the portions were huge and flavored well.
Went there for Easter brunch. The staff and servers were very attentive and informative. And the server was prompt. The food was a little much. Huevos Rancheros were overloaded with ingredients, but low on flavor. And the stuffed waffle divided stuffings into quadrants, so you're stuffed before you reach it all. M y son did like his plain waffle with fruit and syrup.
Nice place, and I'd give it another try. Just maybe not for brunch.
The food isn’t memorable. The restaurant is cute and the staff is friendly.
GPB puts out some of our favorite foods in Arlington. This was our first in-person visit, although we’ve been getting carryout throughout the pandemic. It seemed as if they were understaffed, so I cut them some slack with the 3 star rating (meaning, it was fine but not great). We recommend GPB every chance we get and will keep going back.
I am never disappointed when dining at Green Pig. The food, drinks, and staff are always great. The decor of the restaurant is rustic and quaint. I highly recommend the scallops!
Well separated indoor dining. Fried chicken outstanding
the smoked salmon eggs benedict came with a huge side of overcooked fries ( i was expecting a side salad from a photo i googled) and it gave me quite a heartburn afterwards :-(
Love Green Pig! The ambiance and the food were delicious and just highly recommend to anyone. Service was a tad slow but it was a busy night so we understood and the servers were so friendly and accommodated us very professionally. Overall, it was a good night!
Had a great brunch at Green Pig Bistro. I thought the stuffed waffles were so unique and delicious. Highly recommend the back patio for a nice spring morning mimosa with breakfast.
Just wanted to eat brunch. Disappointed they didn’t want to seat us outside because there were certainly available tables to accommodate. Otherwise a good first experience there. I’d go back.
Great food and safe environment with social distancing protocols securely in place made for a fantastic experience!
Enjoyed everything once again Cheeseburgers delicious as was cornbread
My friend and I had lunch at The Green Pig Bistro. We tried the two samplers but didn't like either one of them (vegetarian and the one with the pork). The server said they didn't have the potato salad for one of the samplers and didn't offer a substitution. The food didn't have much flavor and was too much conglomeration. It looks like the burgers are the best thing on the menu, but most restaurants do burgers. We won't be returning.
The restaurant seemed very safe, with few people inside and plenty of distance and protection between tables. The food was outstanding, especially the house specialty schnitzel. The waitstaff was very attentive. We could not have had a better experience.
I was really disappointed. Our waitress was nice and friendly, but wasn't attentive. We got our food (I ordered the Huevos Rancheros) and I was missing the sour cream and the scallions, so it just missed the mark. No one came by in a reasonable amount of time to check that our food was prepared correctly so it was cold and I was uninterested by the time she did come around. The manager offered a 15% discount which equated to $2.10 - thanks.; I threw half my meal away. Our heater went out and it took 10 minutes to find someone to get us another one which also added to my displeasure. This is the second time in the past few months that I've had an unworthy experience... I don't think I'll be back until either management or the chef/menu changes, or I read that GPB is really on top of their game.
The waitress was great. She knew everything about the place and the menu.
Best meal I have had in Arlington, VA. Green Pig is a great restaurant for celebrating a special event, birthday, or a casual date night.
The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. Great selection of adult beverages. We loved the Mac and cheese, crispy Brussels and the burger. The pork panini tasty but the pork was a little dry.
We had an opentable dining credit/reward to use, but it was not intuitive how to pull up the “card” in the app. The staff were very kind and mentioned it might have been sent via email, but I did not receive an email with a barcode. The restaurant honored the credit anyway!
Very nice meal... tasty food and great service. We will be back.
I wish I had a bigger appetite because I wanted to order so many things off the menu. Everything we ordered was delicious and the ambiance was perfect for our date night. Can't wait to eat here again!
Pork Schnitzel was amazing and a large portion!
Bartender Harry was great
Love Green Pig!
The food and drink was outstanding, especially the pork cassoulet and the Vieux Carre cocktail. The cornbread was the best I ever had!
The only downside of the evening was the service - the hostess seemed frazzled and was efficient but not welcoming. Service was on the slower side. It was a Saturday night and they seemed busy but still, it took away from the experience a bit. If the food wasn’t so good this might have kept me away but the food is exceptional. Hopefully they can up their service game.
Outstanding, as always!
Great experience outdoor dining with our pup. Our server was lovely!
Yummy experience! Brunch was very good. The restaurant is adorable! I love the layout.
Great selection of brunch items, good atmosphere, and wonderful service.
Great service and the food was amazing!!
Ambiance was a little casual for the price. Food was pretty good though.
I like them a lot. I wish they would bring back the short ribs!
A wonderful spot for our parents’ 40th wedding anniversary!
Date night - we loved the experience
Amazing food and service. The ambient is great for a friends get together, or a romantic date.
