Delicious!!!! We were looking for a new place to try (new for us) and we loved it.
Not the best coffee but the food was delicious! I got the stuffed waffle 🧇 totally recommend!
Our server Jackie was great :)
I booked a reservation knowing that my husband would love the menu. I'm a pescatarian and saw a few things that I could eat so I was willing to try it. Goodness, was I impressed! The scallops were amazing. Hubby had the center cut pork chop which he liked, and I personally appreciated the presentation and portion size of it. We both had the smoky old fashioned - a very strong and well made drink. There were plastic separations between tables due to COVID but the vibe of the restaurant was still buzzing.
I enjoyed my time at Green Pig Bistro. It was my first time and the customer service was exceptional. Our waiter was attentive, the atmosphere felt secure and safe, and on top of that the food was great! I am definitely going back soon!
Amazing, this place never disappoints
Great food and atmosphere. Disappointed that a menu item we wanted was already not available by our 6:45p reservation. Will definitely go back...want to hang out at bar area.
Good service my bacon was a little burnt but all in all it was grate
Great food and quality service. Perfect for brunch.
The entire experience was wonderful. Friendly service from the second we walked in the door, complimented by extraordinary food. The menu is perfect for brunch. Highly recommend.
We had a great meal at the Clarendon neighborhood gem. Great service from the moment we walked in the door. The hostess was so nice and helpful to my son who was in a wheelchair. The server was very attentive. The food was incredible. Thanks for a great evening for our family.
Great special night. Everything was superb. We will definitely be back again.
Highly recommend the Green Pig. Great service, food variety and very tasty. Good drinks, too, but the food was the showcase.
Green Pig is great - very tasty food - perfect for brunch and they were able to get some more outside tables.
Food and drinks were delicious, service was great. Just a bit over priced I’d say. Will still be going back!
Quality food. The yellow & red beet salad was amazing
Great food and service. COVID changes made and the step-up makes you feel safe
Such a cute place and great food. Cinnamon rolls were amazing!
Amazing staff with unbelievable food. Have been eating there consistently for a year or so and have never had a bad meal. We take all our friends and family here when they visit and not a single person has had a bad meal or experience!
Phenomenal food! Top 3 restaurants in Clarendon for sure. The Pinot noir was excellent too.
Still rates as our favorite restaurant in the Washington Metro area. The food is spectacular, thanks to the chef, Tracy O’Grady. My wife had the restaurant’s Schnitzel for the first time and it was excellent, and I have never had a better meatloaf. On top of the meal, we had one of the best cocktails, The Fall of the United Nations, thanks to Jose’s creativity and charm. Love this restaurant.
Great food, amazing drinks, and pleasant atmosphere! This place never disappoints!
The food continues to be fantastic. Upscale comfort food, as I like to call it - in the best of ways. Our waitress was fantastic and the outdoor seating worked great for our group of 5. No heaters (as of Friday, 11/13) but we just brought our own blankets to lay on our laps and it worked great. The new BYOB experience. Strongly recommend Green Pig, as always.
Food is always outstanding!
Good amount of patio seating and let's you make a reservation for outside specifically which is appreciated!
Great seating options outside. Food is outstanding as usual!
This is the kind of brunch place that Bill Burr’s stand up comedy warned us about. Brunch for 2. 2 meals, 1 alcoholic drink, 1 coffee. After tip, it was about $75. Nice looking place, but go to a diner instead for the same thing at a better value.
I used to dine at GPB all the time (Pre-COVID) and it was good. What I had today though, was horrible. The shrimp and grits were completely flooded with oil and way too much reddish gravy(?). The eggs weren’t done the way I asked. The waffles used to be really good homemade, fluffy goodness, and now I’d rather just have an eggo waffle. The orange juice wasn’t. That is all I have to say about that.
The server was ok, but the hostess was phenomenal. I’m not sure what happened today, but I’m kind of torn by the experience.
Very friendly staff, sat outside. Just loud cars driving by, could have been extra due to election news. Otherwise excellent experience!
It was our first time at the Green Pig Bistro and we truly enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly. They had us spaced out and the staff wore their masks. We felt comfortable while dining. The food was very good.
Green Pig Bistro is a great restaurant in Arlington. They have outdoor seating with plenty of space between tables. The food is always delicious here and the service was outstanding.
A local reataurant that has improved a lot with Tracy O’Grady as chef. We had terrific scallops and good crab cakes with smoky old fashioneds. Apple pie listed as for 2-4 used to come in cute lodge cast iron skillets and could be for 2. Now bigger and definitely for 4. We do not eat meat so always searching for veg or seafood options. Tonight a very rich lobster and heart of palm dip with garlic toast. Falling and delish.
I really wanted to love Green Pig Bistro and hoped that the other reviews were wrong, but I’m sad to report that I didn’t and that other reviews are fairly spot on. The service was slow, but it looked like only 2 servers had the entire back side of the restaurant so that’s fair, it’s hard when you have 6+ tables. The beers on tap were flat, when we received the lobster dip it was still cold in the middle (assuming they freeze these and heat them up in the oven as the outside was warm), and as the downfall of most lobster dips, there was very little lobster and lots of hearts of palm. My favorite part was actually the bread that came with the lobster dip! I also had the burger which was okay - the bacon was certainly the star of it! The atmosphere was nice & I thought the cookbooks in the case along the wall was a great touch. Unfortunately, I don’t go to restaurants solely for the ambiance so I don’t think i’ll be returning any time soon.
All of the food we ate was delicious. My wife and I are ready to go back for another dinner soon.
Food and drinks were good just the service was horrible
Always a great place for a casual evening out with the family or friends.
The service is always slow here but our last visit was ATROCIOUS! We were there for almost an hour and still no food. I tracked down the server and she apologized but how about come to our table and check on us or explain it is taking way longer than it should?!! Most of the dishes are good at The Green Pig but it’s not worth the amount of time you have to wait for your food. We will never go back.
The food was delicious, as expected from Chef Tracy O’Grady. We have been following her since she was exec chef at Kincaid’s, which now seems eons of years away. We were thrilled when she opened the Willow and then, of course, devastated when she decided she had to close. But then we caught up with her at 1789 with several really memorable meals. One meal, I mistakenly ordered a $170 bottle of wine (thinking it was $70). Luckily my dinner partner didn’t flinch when we discovered the mistake. But we had kept saying at dinner, boy, this wine sure is good😊. No wonder. My friend and I had Saturday brunch, COVID-style on the sidewalk at Green Pig. I asked for a special reprieve on the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict and luckily the waitress was able to beg from the chef to grant it to me. Thank you, Green Pig! My crab cake, salad and fries were perfect. That is, no bun; no hollandaise; no egg. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Service and food continue to impress and the outdoor seating options are great.
We sat in the courtyard and it was a bit dark. Some tall lamps or heaters would do well! The food is always good--drinks too. Our waiter was diligent and quick, even though we were seated outside. Please get the pot de creme-- so so good!
Delicious food for a reasonable price. Dinner for two, with beers and dessert for $70 is pretty unheard of in the area for the quality of food. Service was excellent as well.
The green pig bistro was an excellent choice. We were able to sit outside on a great night and enjoyed there Monday night special fried chicken dinner. Service and everything was excellent.
