First time coming to the Green Pig and they really made our anniversary super special. Zack and Ali were amazing! The food was great and the service was even better.
Food was good and a nice serving. Had enough to take it home for lunch the next day. Only issue is that it is very loud at dinner time. Fun with friends, not the best for a date
Overall very good experience.
The food was impeccably made and the quality remains great after all of these years! We used to live at zoso when they first opened and are so happy to see it sustain it’s promise of quality service and food.
The food was fantastic and the ambience energetic without being overwhelming. Our group had a marvelous time!
Amazing food and incredible service. Best birthday lunch ever!
Really great food, atmosphere and service. Will definitely be going back
The entrees took a along time to arrive and one was wrong and had to be sent back to the kitchen. The replacement took another good 20-25 minutes. By then, I had waited an hour for my food from when I ordered it.
Absolutely outstanding! It was our first time there and we'll definitely be back.
Food was very good, perfectly cooked. Service was perfectly paced. But temperature in the restaurant was very warm.
Great food, great ambiance, disappointed two of the happy hour kegs were kicked by 5:40 and 6:15 - should have fresh kegs ready for Friday’s. Burger was phenomenal, Zach our waiter could not have been better -terrific guy.
The food here was fantastic. I recommend the pork schnitzel and ratatouille. Sautéed Brussels sprouts were also wonderful.
Food amazing: ribs and best BLT ever. Busboy and host great. Waitress inexperienced. The waitress made all the difference.
One of my very favorite restaurants in the DC Metro! Fantastic service - thoughtful staff - yummy food and dogs allowed on the fantastic outdoor patio.
We had a party of 4 and a baby. We needed to sit outside and they could not have made it easier to make this request. The service was top notch, as we didn't have to ask twice for anything. The food was, as usual, outstanding.
Quaint restaurant with excellent food and service. We will definitively revisit!
Best meal we’ve had in a long time. Hope to be back again soon.
Amazing food - great service. We had booked a table outdoors but because of weather this section was closed. The host was really nice making sure we get accommodated - thank you!
Great fresh food, lively atmosphere, attentive service.
I typically have a great experience at Green Pig. However, yesterday was much different. We were only a party of two and my guest was seated in the bar area at a table by the window. We were the only ones there at the time and the service was not attentive. I wanted chicken salad and was told they were out of it. That was surprising as the menu is limited at this time and it was only 12:30 on a regular day. I ordered the BLT as I had it a few weeks back and it was great. This time it was served on a hamburger bun and had one tomato on it and little lettuce. It was nearly impossible to pick up and was primarily bacon. Very disappointed as I had been telling my friend how great this restaurant can be.
Our family (5 adults and one baby) thoroughly enjoyed our special meal to celebrate my husband's birthday. The staff was so attentive and took care of all of us and any special requests. A special thanks to our main server (Team S?) for providing her special touch to our birthday celebration. She was so friendly, upbeat, patient and professsional.
I highly recommend that folks stop in to the Green Pig Bistro and have a wonderful time.
I’m not a fan of “community booth” seating. We were sat at one of those tables where you share a bench seat with strangers. Not a fan. The other table was quite loud and I couldn’t hear my guests. This type of seating should not exist. The food was fair. Our server was good. My food took about 7 minutes longer than my guests food to come out though we were not informed as to why.
Gorgeous, delicious food, fantastic service. We had the stuffed waffle, breakfast sandwich, and Croque Madame and all were fantastic.
Corn bread with maple butter appertizer was incredible only to be outdone by Pork Cassoulet which was a clear and hearty stew with pork belly and sausage and buttered toasted garlic bread to dunk AND the Crispy Gruyere Stuffed Pork Schnitzel topped with green and yellow string beans and english peas - my husband and I shared both entrees and can't decide which we enjoyed more but what we do know is we will be back again to task both again, even though there was too much to eat there so we have lunch/dinner for today!
Evelyn was the best server we've experienced in years
We loved the restaurant. Food was delicious, my husband ordered the spicy bloody mary and stuffed waffles and he would have gone for seconds. My benedict eggs were amazing, the salmon was fresh and the hollandaise light and my aperol delicious . We sat outside as the day was perfect for it. We are planning on coming back.
Great meal. Perfect service! Can’t wait to go back!
Great meal ! Every bite was delicious . My standouts were the deviled eggs, ravioli , and I will be dreaming abt the corn bread and chocolate cake for a very long time -pure indulgence !
We ordered from Green Pig frequently throughout the pandemic, but it was nice to go in person and have access to the full menu. We were fans of chef Tracey O'Grady at Willow and are very glad that she is now chef here. We sampled cocktails Pepino Fresco, Sakura, and the Grapeful Dead. There were all well crafted and refreshing on a hot summers day. My partner had the little gems salad (they make great salads) and I had the Gazpacho, which was rich with radishes and almonds, We had the fennel crusted Tuna and the Scallops which both had a bright snap pea risotto and delicious yellow tomato vinaigrette accompanying them. Service was fast, which I know is to be expected these days, but I wouldn't mind lingering a little longer.
My son picked this restaurant for my birthday dinner, and I was pleasantly surprised. The menu presented traditional and non-traditional fare, each with a delightful twist--scallops nested on green pea orzo with braised artichoke hearts, four cheese macaroni and yellowfin tuna seared to perfection plus a yummy chocolate-coffee cake. The wine selection was an added benefit. Our wait staff, especially Cindy, was attentive without being overbearing and always friendly (and smiling, I'm sure, behind the mask). We will definitely return!
Food is phenomenal . Love being able to sit outside
We went for our anniversary and sat outdoors which was lovely, shaded and enough activity to be interesting but not so busy that it’s noisy. Excellent drinks (Moscow mule and wine) and food (handmade cavatelli and meatballs and the incomparable pork schnitzel). The service was also excellent. The only thing that would have made it a bit better was if we were given something to snack on with our drinks while we waited for our entrees, like olives or bread sticks or something very light. The entrees are generous portions and we both needed to take home parts of our meal.
We had lunch. Loved the creative menu and broad array of lunch options.
Great lunch with a very happy client...thank you....we loved the outdoor seating!
The food was excellent. The service was excellent. The chef even sent over complimentary appetizers because he felt the steak was taking a little longer to cook. Maybe it was but we were enjoying the whole experience so much, we didn’t notice. We will definitely visit again.
Good food and nice atmosphere. Our water glasses were empty and never refilled. Food service was very slow; they seemed very understaffed.
Wow, we tried brunch at the Green Pig Bistro for the first time. My crab cake benedict was terrific. The food and service was exceptional. Great to find a neighborhood restaurant that is at the top of the game!
Good food and great service, relaxing yet unique environment.
Good food, but pricey. Would appreciate it if all the servers wore masks.
