Since the COVID-19 pandemic first struck, Green Pig Bistro has followed all CDC recommended guidelines by altering the layout of the restaurant and increasing sanitation procedures to ensure the safety of all guests and staff.
Green Pig Bistro (GPB) serves up a fusion of French and American cuisine. Guests can start their dining experience with appetizers such as a crispy quinoa cakes with goat cheese, or the signature buffalo ribs with blue cheese dressing. GPB embraces a seasonal menu of hearty entrées, sourcing most ingredients locally to satisfy the palate. It has a casual setting, with a lively and energetic vibe and delicious farm to table food prepared in an open kitchen, totally unique craft cocktails, amazing service and a one-of-a-kind style. GPB is open for Happy Hour every day from 3pm-5pm, Dinner every day from 5pm-close, and Brunch on Saturday & Sunday from 10am-2:30pm. Reservations highly encouraged. Reservations not accepted for Happy Hour - just stop in!

The service is always slow here but our last visit was ATROCIOUS! We were there for almost an hour and still no food. I tracked down the server and she apologized but how about come to our table and check on us or explain it is taking way longer than it should?!! Most of the dishes are good at The Green Pig but it’s not worth the amount of time you have to wait for your food. We will never go back.

The food was delicious, as expected from Chef Tracy O’Grady. We have been following her since she was exec chef at Kincaid’s, which now seems eons of years away. We were thrilled when she opened the Willow and then, of course, devastated when she decided she had to close. But then we caught up with her at 1789 with several really memorable meals. One meal, I mistakenly ordered a $170 bottle of wine (thinking it was $70). Luckily my dinner partner didn’t flinch when we discovered the mistake. But we had kept saying at dinner, boy, this wine sure is good😊. No wonder. My friend and I had Saturday brunch, COVID-style on the sidewalk at Green Pig. I asked for a special reprieve on the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict and luckily the waitress was able to beg from the chef to grant it to me. Thank you, Green Pig! My crab cake, salad and fries were perfect. That is, no bun; no hollandaise; no egg. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

We sat in the courtyard and it was a bit dark. Some tall lamps or heaters would do well! The food is always good--drinks too. Our waiter was diligent and quick, even though we were seated outside. Please get the pot de creme-- so so good!

Delicious food for a reasonable price. Dinner for two, with beers and dessert for $70 is pretty unheard of in the area for the quality of food. Service was excellent as well.

The green pig bistro was an excellent choice. We were able to sit outside on a great night and enjoyed there Monday night special fried chicken dinner. Service and everything was excellent.

We have been fairly regular diners at the pig bistro and it has always had good drinks and okay food. We keep thinking it will be the night that we get blown away. However, not yet and it always is just little things like rubbery chicken in the spicy chicken sandwich- menu is too small, and the appetizers always seem to be the best choice :(

Incredible food and even better service! This place is always outdoing itself :) I absolutely love their new vegetarian options, how friendly their staff is and how accommodating they are. We felt completely safe eating outdoors on their patio with ample amount of space between tables and masks worn by all staff (we put our masks on as well when they came to our table). Been here so many times and can't wait to continuously come back!

Excellent menu selection, all three of our meals were delicious- Greek salad with grilled salmon, Spicy chicken sandwich and bacon burger!! Nice beer selection, and my cosmo was perfect!

We went here for my boyfriends birthday celebration. The server was told, and they didn't do anything to acknowledge or wish him well. The resturant was incredibly cold and the food was alright. I've been here before and was incredibly impressed with this spot which is why I chose to come back. Unfortunately I wasn't impressed with this instance. The personal touches just weren't there.

Very nice staff and great food! I have been very cautious going out to eat in the pandemic (3 times in total in 7 months), and I felt very safe here. Everything was roped off and the staff all wore masks properly. The outdoor seating is on a quiet street, with minimal passersby. Had brunch here and the food was phenomenal. You absolutely must try the banana bread. It’s the best banana bread I’ve ever had. Looking forward to coming back here soon. Wish they had hot cocoa tho :/

Our server was very sweet, but inattentive. We were a large party of 8, and we’re all seated around 8:05. However those who hadn’t arrived early and gotten drinks at the bar didn’t get drinks until 8:45. We constantly felt like we were looking around the room searching for our waitress trying to order dinner or additional drinks the entire night. Also, i ordered the scallop dinner for my entree and was seriously disapointed I had only 3 scallops in my dish. For the price of the entree i expected more. I ended up eating my friend short ribs leftovers because i was still hungry. I don’t mean to add insult to injury, but then I ordered the pie of the night which was the pecan pie. The pie never came, and the waitress forgot to check if it had arrived, so it was another long wait. And then i was served the pie, which was still cold in the middle and didn’t have much flavor. I get it, we all have our bad nights. The restaurant didn’t seem overwhelmed, there were even a few Open tables.

We went with a large group (10 of us) to celebrate my Dad’s 75th birthday on Saturday night. Our server was outstanding and so was the food. They easily accommodated 3 generations of our family - finding something everyone could enjoy eating. Our server made us all feel right at home and took care to make sure everyone felt cared for. My only issue was that it is very loud and that made it a bit harder to engage my Dad since he is older and a little bit deaf.

My husband and I went for Sunday brunch and it was okay. The service was below average. The waitress walked away multiple times when we had more questions or wanted to put our orders in. The cinnamon rolls were good. The actual brunch meals were maybe slightly above average. Price was fair for what you get.
