Green Pig Bistro features a communal chef's table and an open kitchen and two full bars where guests can socialize while watching their meals or cocktails being prepared. It has a casual setting and lively and energetic vibe with delicious farm to table food, craft cocktails, amazing service and a unique style and walls covered in cookbook pages. This restaurant serves brunch with cocktails on the weekend, lunch Monday - Friday, a daily Happy Hour from 5pm-7pm and dinner starting at 5:30pm. Reservations highly recommended. At this time, we don't take any reservations for Lunch. Just stop in!

Usually enjoys my meal here but service was super slow tonight and they forgot my friends soup before her entree and then her entree came out cold and by the time her dinner came back warm the rest of us were finished. Not the best performance by green pig bistro tonight

I’ve been a customer of GPB since it opened. When I lived in the area, I would come in regularly. We were seated in a booth by the bar, which I thought might be a welcome change.
Hands down the worst brunch experience I’ve had at GPB. The Prosecco was flat, the food came out lukewarm, and I noticed the quality of ingredients was subpar. We only ate all the food because it was a 130pm brunch and we were starving.
I got the Prosecco taken off the bill and talked with the manager who was the one who gave me the flat Prosecco. He looked completely surprised.
Guess that’s why I don’t recognize the wait staff any longer and one of them is even at Blue Duck Tavern. Good for her!!
The waitress was very attentive!
Came here for brunch with some friends and it was a hit. Mulled wine and warm scones on a cool fall day was exactly what we all needed. The variety and attention to detail, along with some tasty food options, had us all impressed. I know my friends and I will be back again soon.
Food was excellent and the Bread Pudding was AMAZING!
We had a birthday dinner for our son, well-reserved in advance. We were put at a large community table, so wide that it was difficult to talk easily to those family members across the table. We asked to change and were refused. My son spoke with the manager then who moved us to a more appropriate table. The restaurant was mostly empty so this wasn’t a question of space. Though the service was very good, we were put off by this surprisingly unfortunate customer service.

This is a great neighborhood gem, we have been coming to the Green Pig since it changed over from the Vermont Pizza Company almost ten years ago. The restaurant and staff have been consistently excellent.
My first visit and will definitely be back. The menu was fantastic and made it very hard to decide. Our server was excellent and can’t say enough about him. His recommendations were spot on AND he re-shook my martinis...classy but almost never happens. The food didn’t disappoint. All around a great experience.
Always a standout. Great food, great service, and a real neighborhood feel. You just can’t go wrong having dinner here at the Green Pig.
Excellent food in a warm and cozy atmosphere. They had just changed to their fall menu and we were very pleased with the choices. The butternut squash soup was so flavorful and the snails and mushrooms over toast were delicious. We also tried the bone marrow which was a hit at our table. For entrees we ate the pork shank, scallops and vegetable risotto. They were all delicious. For dessert we tried the coffee cheesecake and flourless chocolate cake (topped with vanilla ice cream) and both were excellent.
This place is awesome. Great food, great service. So many enticing items, you’ll want to return over and over to try them all! Marisa is a delight - provided a ton of helpful information about the dishes and was attentive but not intrusive. Looking forward to our next visit.
Delicious food, friendly service, but we were seated next to the window with a draft, and it was quite cold. As we were walking out of the restaurant the temperature was quite a bit warmer in the center of the dining area. If you are by the windows, be prepared to be cold.
I’ve been to Green Pig several times and the food and service are always on point. This time around we had the waiter JP, who was one of the best servers I’ve ever had. He anticipated our needs before we said anything and made it a very pleasant experience. I will be back.
Well worth the visit! The cinnamon rolls were fabulous as were all of the other dishes we tried!

Huevos Rancheros were the best my wife said she ever had. My steak and eggs were very good EXCEPT my poached eggs weren’t cooked properly as part of my runny yoke was cool in temperature.

A few things kept this from a better review. First is the reservation time was not correctly recorded by the restaurant staff; It took an excessive amount of time to get the check at the end of the meal and often times during the meal, there were long periods of time where we never did see the wait person;
Lastly, the portions were not consistent. For instance, the hanger steaks were served in much smaller portions than the pork chops or the fish.
With all that said, the kitchen did a great job with the food. My table had the items mentioned above as well as a few appetizers and deserts. I would also say, even though the reservation got botched, we were not made to wait for a table as they sat us at the communal table in the back.
So I'll say that this is a place we would return to.
Chicken biscuits are great as are the ribs - oysters were also good but the person who delivered them had no idea which type of oyster we were served (this person was not our server but more of runner). Good cocktails too
First time diners and we will definitely be back. Every bite of the three dishes that I ordered was delicious and my companions were also very happy with their dinners. Highly recommend!
A good overall experience but a pricey.
Energetic atmosphere, if noise is an issue for you it is a bit loud.
We were 6 people who hadn't seen each other for a long time and we were more interested in catching up than ordering food and I think that frustrated the wait staff. The food was good - but not worth the price they charged in my opinion.
Excellent happy hour specials at the bar.
1/2 priced oysters, fried pickles, drink specials. Staff was fun and friendly, they made helpful suggestions.

Inventive menu, fresh ingredients, friendly service
We took a few co-workers who were in town and wanted to get a good meal. The food was delicious, as always. Drink selection was very good. Our waiter was great and made everyone feel at home. This is the second time I've taken my team when they've come to the area, and both times have been a really good time.
Food was only so so. Fried chicken and biscuits with honey and buffalo sauce was good. Pork chop entree with Brussels sprouts, pears, etc. was bland. Branzino fish was not great. Price did not reflect actual quality of food.
If this local bistro isn't on your go-to list of restaurants then you are in luck- you found it. Formerly a regular but moved away. In the last three years not much has changed. While there is a new chef, the quality ingredients, creative menu, and attention to detail continues to warrant your regular return.
Great for couples, groups and family dinners. The open air kitchen is within view of the main dining area is accessible for those interested, but not the focus- you are.
If you are a foodie or just want well seasoned and creative food, can go on and on.

Food was pretty good and the restaurant is very cute. Unfortunately, it’s overpriced for what you get. Also, we sat, ordered and had both appetizer and entree courses served in 24 minutes - we felt so rushed out the door that the meal wasn’t enjoyable.
The food was delicious. However, it is a bit over priced and our service was awful. For such good quality food the servers could have been more attentive.
One of top restaurants in Clarendon. Buffalo ribs are great - who knew. Meatloaf special nothing special. Good service.
I have never been so disappointed in a place. I have come here 10 plus times and this last time is enough. We waited 20 mins to get a drink, we hurried up and ordered food, when it came, which was relatively quick, we had to wait 10 mins for silverware, the Mac and cheese was ice cold, and the burger was good but my wife wanted ketchup. After we waited another 20 mins, I went in and requested ketchup. After another 15 minutes of waiting we decided to just leave. I have never walked We out of a place, but I did here.
What makes it worse is, what I assume was the manager, called me a berated me for leaving. After telling him I would come back and pay, I was promptly given a F-Off. wow that was surprising. Never coming back to this place. I am floored by the manager’s total disrespect.
P. EAGER Your timeline in which you mention above doesn’t even match the timeline in our system & security cameras. Your total stay was 32min. You say over an hour-NOT true. Our owner did not berate you, he simply called to ask what was wrong & why you walked out on your bill, in which you told him that you would come back just so you could tell him to “F-off”. Gist is you walked out on your bill, you didn’t pay-which is illegal & we have the right to press charges against you. And you're banned
The food portions are small, particularly in relation to the prices. They may try to seat you in one of the two bar areas, which are terrible for table dining because they don't have dedicated waitstaff in those areas and Green Pig makes little effort to provide patrons seated in those areas with good service.
Came for dinner on a Friday night and made reservations. (First timer) While sitting at the bar, waiting on my date, I received great service from the bartender. The Moscow mule was amazing! They use their own house made ginger beer. Honestly, one of my favorites. Transitioned to a table once my date arrived. I had the steak with chimichurri and my date had the diver scallops. Also ordered a side of Brussels sprouts. He was not a fan of his dish and I didn't get an opportunity to try because my dish was quite delicious and filling. Great balance of flavors and the Brussels sprouts were hearty and tender. Great service. Kitchen closes early at 10 despite restaurant closing at midnight.
