We appreciated the spacious outdoor eating area and the food was delicious. The lobster and hearts of palm dip—divine. We will return.
Amazing food and service on a busy day for restaurants
We were disappointed with the food this time. Salads were watery and low in flavor. The Mac and cheese dishes had strange flavor profiles. The gnocchi dish had an unexpected sweetness rather than savory taste. I enjoyed my diver scallop dish but my husband said the only thing he liked was his cocktail.
It was a very different experience the last time we visited the restaurant.
Just ok...had much better meals here in the past. Schnitzel was almost tasteless and burgers were nothing special. Maybe it was an off night for the staff, but I wouldn’t rush back,
Great food! Service was terrible. I was raising my hand multiple tiene to catch someone’s attention, no one looked over! Had to walk to the kitchen to look for our server that disappeared for almost 30 minutes. Didn’t ask us once if we wanted another drink.
Wonderful food, great service, and very comfortable even though we were seated outside (with a heater). Loved it, and will definitely eat there again
Normally I love Green Pig, but this experience over Mother's Day weekend was truly awful, esp for a dinner which was supposed to be a celebration among family who had not seen each other in a long time. We had a very early reservation and were one of the first table seated outdoors but for some reason they gave the heaters to other tables before us so it was pretty chilly. The server was absolutely terrible-- super disingenuous person who came across as fake nice-- and who also rushed us through our meal. To cap it all off something we ate made us feel queasy (it may have been the super greasy Brussel sprouts). My family doesn't want to return and I don't blame them, and I felt bad that it was such a bad experience for the one night we planned to eat out at a restaurant together.
A very wonderful Mother’s Day dinner thank you so much for making my family really happy!
I had not been to Green Pig in years and it did not disappoint. Both the food and service were great. I’ll definitely be back.
The food was okay - not bad but not good, just okay. Definitely not worth the price, the menu is very overpriced for what you get. The server rushed us the entire meal and was not very friendly. We were well aware of the time limit per table, due to the restaurant's COVID rules in place, yet the server continuously stopped by to move us along. That got very annoying very quickly. The one positive was they have a good wine selection and the pours were generous. Would recommend going for drinks, not food.
Amazing! Everything on the menu is delicious, I highly recommend it for any occasion.
Great food, very prompt and courteous service, quaint and delightful environment with the feel of an intimate conversation.
Made a reservation, table wasn't ready when we got there. Got a seat at the bar while we waited. Cocktails were sub-par for the price. Wait staff were very confused about the transition from the bar to the table. Food was ok but kind of bland, definitely not a good value. Many more places nearby that have better service and food for the price.
Have been entertaining the idea of Green Pig for quite some time and am glad that I finally decided to do it. Great staff, yummy food options and I love the dining venue!
Outdoor tables are near the street. Indoor space has a concrete floor. So there's some noise wherever you are.
But the food is outstanding and the service is friendly. Definitely recommend.
Had a Lovely night dining outside. Wait staff was however stretched thin. Our server had too many table tables. Food was great and our server was very nice. We’d definitely go back
Went here to celebrate Mother's Day a week early with my family for brunch. The location was perfect. We sat outside and enjoyed family time. The server was attentive and gave us her opinion which was great. I was not "wow'd" by the food. I wish it was a little better. The food wasn't terrible but I don't think I would visit again. But the OJ was AMAZING!
Felt a little rushed with service since we were there at the tail end of brunch. Regardless the food was great! Chicken and waffles always a winner. Thanks!
Felt very COVID safe and completely delicious. Made for a wonderful brunch!
Always a great experience!
Appetizers are always strong, especially ribs. Main courses were mediocre at best this time - meat and seafood were under seasoned, and Caesar salad dressing way too fishy for my liking.
Good, not great, but I will come back for another try, probably for brunch.
Our server was terrific, very friendly and knowledgeable. My dining companion told the server she has celiac disease and ordered a burger with NO bun. The burger came WITH a bun. The runner clearly took the burger back, removed the bun, and returned in a couple of minutes. That is NOT sufficient for a person with celiac! We had to call over the server and get her to take the burger back to be totally re-fired in the kitchen. Fixed in the end, but a disappointing impression on a new customer.
Green Pig Bistro was the perfect low-key brunch spot. Sat on the back patio with 4 people at the table and it was lovely. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. My friends were impressed by the restaurant, so would definitely recommend to others.
Love Green Pig Bistro. Food is delicious, service is excellent, the glasses of wine generous. I appreciated the COVID social distancing and mask-wearing inside the restaurant. This was our first time eating inside a restaurant in a long, long time, and it was exellent.
Have the schnitzel or cassoulet, while starting with the pork mac and cheese. Absolutely delicious.
Everything ok but nothing exceptional or memorible
Excellent meatloaf with a nice large portion - specialty on Tuesday. Beer menu great also. Varied menu with a lot of great looking choices.
The steak was too salty and the scallops were under cooked but everything else was a 10!
Always such a great experience!! The food was fantastic as always and our waitress was very personable.
Amazing kitchen - everything was fabulous.
I had the divers scallops which were perfectly prepared, as was the mushroom ravioli. And try the house Smokin’ Old Fashioned!
The food is good, but the quality has really tumbled since the new Chef took the reins.
Been going here for years since it opened. They have a new chef since covid so I was missing a few of the staples - snail mushroom toast/ bone marrow toast but the new offerings are on par with the previous chef. I had chicken and biscuit which was incredible and the pork chop which was outstanding. Still the best spot in Arlington for brunch or dinner imo.
Very nice outdoor patio seat. Food is consistently good, specialty cocktails are also good.
Wait staff was attentive but didn't hover.
Prices are somewhat high, but portions are large so we took some home with us.
Such an outstanding time with each visit. Zach & team thank you for the love! 🍮🍷👌
Waiter was very attentive and helpful. Additionally, the food was delicious. We had lunch and the portions were huge and flavored well.
Went there for Easter brunch. The staff and servers were very attentive and informative. And the server was prompt. The food was a little much. Huevos Rancheros were overloaded with ingredients, but low on flavor. And the stuffed waffle divided stuffings into quadrants, so you're stuffed before you reach it all. M y son did like his plain waffle with fruit and syrup.
Nice place, and I'd give it another try. Just maybe not for brunch.
The food isn’t memorable. The restaurant is cute and the staff is friendly.
GPB puts out some of our favorite foods in Arlington. This was our first in-person visit, although we’ve been getting carryout throughout the pandemic. It seemed as if they were understaffed, so I cut them some slack with the 3 star rating (meaning, it was fine but not great). We recommend GPB every chance we get and will keep going back.
I am never disappointed when dining at Green Pig. The food, drinks, and staff are always great. The decor of the restaurant is rustic and quaint. I highly recommend the scallops!
Well separated indoor dining. Fried chicken outstanding
