Green gateau is my go to for celebrating in lincoln. Our waiter Jesse was so attentive and helpful! Can no go wrong with their specials or the dessert tray! I appreciated the executive chef being out in the dining room and checking in with customers and staff too

We were spending the night in a hotel down the street and read great reviews online of this restaurant. The reviews were spot on. We had an outstanding meal that was appropriately priced. Both the food and service were excellent. Special shout out to our server Schuyler! So many delicious choices on the menu made it hard to choose. We started with the truffle fries and a glass of wine. Entrees were the butter bacon filet and the seafood sampler. The sampler was piled high with four different seafoods - salmon, trout, shrimp and a crab cake- over a bed of shrimp risotto. For $30! We shared the beignets for dessert. They are to die for. Just a wonderful dinner experience. If we ever find ourselves in Lincoln again, we will definitely return.

Nicely varied brunch menu -- both food (a croque madame with eggs to order, customarily fine dessert tray) and drink (a tropical mimosa, for example). Service from Jessica was attentive and patient and cheerful. But it does get extremely loud during Sunday brunch -- the only reason for the middling mark among the approving ones.

The server was superior. The food was excellent. We had a variety of entrees which were all provided at the same time and we all enjoyed our food and wine. A great place to take our 93 year old mother for a special meal. She has Alzheimer’s so keeping her in a nice, calm environment with a warm atmosphere was important. We really appreciate the kindness of the whole restaurant staff.

The Green Gateau never disappoints. Never. No matter if meeting a friend, a family celebration, or just needing to feel a little "pampered," GG fits the bill. The meals are delicious and consistent. Super cozy ambience with great service and delicious menu offerings. We started with the calamari and caesar salad. The calamari could have been cooked a tad longer but was still good. For entrees, we ordered the beef wellington and the crab crusted salmon. The wellington was cooked perfectly medium rare - by far our favorite dish of the night. The salmon and risotto were paired nicely and were also delicious. Can’t wait to come back again and try more!

Delicious as always, only one comment. I generally don’t expect meat on Eggs Sardou- I may have missed the ham in the description. Very good otherwise, but I prefer this dish with artichoke bottoms/hearts only. The potato pancake was also delicious and non-traditional, but I enjoyed it very much.

We were in town for one night and so glad this is where we chose to do our date night. We had a starter, entree, dessert, and tried the cocktail that had cinnamon whisky with ginger beer. It was a very nice dinner experience and all of it was yummy!

We walked in and thought it looked like it would be a great place. Our server came over and was very friendly. We ordered dinner, my son ordered filet mignon med rare. Our dinner arrived and that was the end of our server. He never checked to see how the food was. My sons steak was so rare it was difficult to cut. We finally got the host’s attention to cook it more. I asked for water at least 3 times before I could get some. By the time my son’s steak came back it was overcooked and I was done eating. There was no apology. We were very disappointed especially since the reviews were so good. Maybe it was an off night.
