Our Spring seasonal release for 2016 is a Blood Orange IPA. The Whaler pours pale yellow with a naturally cloudy hop haze. Intense aromas of freshly cut blood orange and grapefruit lead into full bodied flavours of ripe citrus and subtle malt sweetness. Finishing strong with a firm hop bitterness, this beer is crazy session-able considering the 6.2% abv

Great beer in a nice setting, with the King of the wings on Wednesday is amazing and some of the other food trucks sound good too. Just wish it was closer to my house so I could go more often!

We had a great night and the guys at Green Beacon were very accommodating. Unfortunately the Food Truck cancelled last minute which was disappointing but we were allowed to order in Pizzas which was fabulous. We were a business group meeting together after work and it was casual, fun with enough ambiance to buzz but we could hear and talk with each other which was brilliant.

Love green beacon only issue is when you 5 people it’s hard to eat and have drinks on the small round high table. We could be seated on something bigger.

Even though we rocked up early to our booking on Wednesday- turned out I had made a mistake and our booking was for Monday. We had a dog with us so the friendly staff managed to shuffle a few tables around and fit us in!

We arrived on Saturday night, with a voucher our daughter had bought us. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We ate a Reuben sandwich that was brilliant. Ended up staying for three rounds. Enjoyed a really lovely evening. Thank you, Green Beachon!
