We had such a great experience dining here this past weekend! We came for the first time and brought some friends from out of town, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food, service, and our time there.
Tried this place for the first time this week for a friends birthday. The service was really good. I got greeted by the host and the server I had was really nice and informative. Since I booked with open table or made reservations I added to notes that it was for a a birthday. We later got free ice cream with a candle! Thought that was really sweet. lol. The food was really good. We shared the doughnuts and chicken.
I included notes in our reservation to wheel my grandfather's wheelchair directly to a patio and it was ready when we arrived. We had a vegan in our party and the accommodations were easy and tasty. The ambiance was fine; fun to be outside. Our server, Paris made the evening!
There was a lot of wait staff, but everything seemed to take forever. Nice place, but the food was meh. Definitely not worth the price. I wouldn’t go back.
Been to Great Maple many times but this past visit was terrible. It took 20 minutes for our order to be taken and then another 30 minutes to get our meals. We had tickets to a performance and nearly missed it. We were told the kitchen was backed up. Our waiter apologized but it was a bad night all around.
I ordered sugar power beignets, not as good as we had in new Orlean, one entry breakfast smash just so so , org wise two express lunch were great , room to improve even coffee
I called ahead and let them know I was going To be a little late and the girl who answered the phone said she would do her best to keep our table since it was for my birthday. However when we arrived they cancelled our table and the hostess said she didn’t know we were running late. Fortunately they did seat us right away though. Our food took about 30 minutes to arrive after ordering....a bit long.....they were very busy. Food was good and they did bring out a scoop of ice cream for my birthday!
Something to try but won’t come back. We ordered all their signature dishes. The maple syrup glazed bacon donuts were worth trying. The meat in the French dipped sandwich was pretty good. They served organic eggs or something because the yolks were very orange. The truffle devil eggs were not a right combination so I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s very packed in the weekend so make your reservation. Because it’s so packed, the noise level was high.
A great menu - we had brunch! The dough nuts and French toast were deliciuos !
My friend and I had Saturday brunch there. Love the food and service was very attentive too. One of the nice weekend hangout spots in Pasadena.
My son and I wanted to try somewhere new that we haven’t been. We were very pleased with our choice. The food was good and the service was good. We like their menu options. We will be going back real soon with more friends and family.
We really enjoyed our visit. The food was extremely good and the presentation of the food was amazing. The service was good and ambiance was very relaxing. The menu offers a rich variety of Maple traditions. We plan to go back and try more menu options.
Horrible food, service was ok. Ambience was ok and the location is good.
this is my go-to spot. I love the drinks and their menu. service is always great!
Very high quality food and good sized portions. Although a bit pricey, given the location and the quality of the food it was worth it. It was my first time trying it and when back in Pasadena I would go again.
Food and service was outstanding..if you don’t mind dining with dogs, some folks hate it some folks love it ... some folks just want to know.:: here is your place. I do think brunch spots need a bottomless option, they don’t have one. But their food is delicious.
The service is friendly but slow and unattentive. The presentation of food is good and the taste is not up to standard.
We were disappointed. We had not been for some time and had expectations for a good meal. The food is good although the deviled eggs were not a hit as the truffles conflicted with another spice. The service was way below par. Our server was slow and did not get part of our order right. The manager came to our table to try and make things right, including comping part of our meal and offering a free dessert but it did not compensate for the level of apparent disorganization.
Been there a few times already and have had terrible service throughout. They are extremely slow and unattentive. The first time I went, I felt as though only a certain race was being treated amazingly. Take a wild guess, I’m not white. Sad because I own a small business at the Paseo and would love to go often for lunch but service is bad so I’ll skip it.
Great Maple is located in the Paseo Colorado Mall so there is plenty of parking. The greeters and waiters were very friendly and courteous. We ordered macaroni and cheese, chicken and maple bacon donut and maple bacon old fashion. All of the food was great! The maple bacon donut is very sweet but the chicken balances out the flavors. Overall, I would come back for brunch.
Had a great brunch here after spending the morning at the Spa! The service, atmosphere and food were great! I’ll definitely come back,
The service and food were great! Everyone was very friendly and did their jobs well, made me have a great memory of Pasadena. This place is highly recommended!
Restaurant was half empty but sat us next to family of six. They left and then they sat another family of six in same very close booth even though four other booths were empty. Took forty minutes for two orders of fish tacos. Allowed us to "enjoy" listening to two sets of family conversations. Just how we hoped to spend our lunch. Hostess was fixing issue in toilet and left w/o washing her hands. We won't be back.
The restaurant is very loud, not a place of the older crowd who will have a problem carrying on a conversation. The chicken and donuts is good but one donut is plenty very dense. Humus is great the kale salad is ok. all salads have kale in them
The service and the food were a-1.
Food and service is inconsistent. Brought a friend to try the restaurant after telling her that it was great. Ordered tea and they gave us a tea bag but forgot to put water into the pot. We ordered the French toast which was one of our favorites but they gave us the toast only. There was no custard in the French toast making it very dry and basically just giving us toast with syrup. We also ordered the chicken with donuts and it was disappointing too. The best part of our meal was a side of French fries with truffle. Was quite embarrassed after telling my friend about this place. Probably will not be back.
Service is wonderfully attentive and the food is creative and delicious. I had the French dip and my colleague had their signature burger.
We finished with some of the amazing donuts.
Great experience all around. I will be back.
The portobello fries was good but the pork ribs and chicken were ok. It's good for brunch but not for dinner.
Lovely birthday brunch with family. Very busy morning, but staff was very attentive and food came out relatively quickly. Food was delicious and portions were huge!
We really enjoy this restaurant
Servers and receptionists were very knowledgeable, polite and helpful
Vegetarian options available
Very, very noisy
The music level was so high and loud that it made it difficult to hear my friend talk
Great service, yummy food and overall good vibe. Felt welcome. Will definitely come again soon.
For the first time being there, was a great experience. Service was great and the team they have is awesome. We'll go back soon.
It started out promising. The greeter was accommodating and provided us our seat of choice. Our waitress was also welcoming. However, other than water or drinks, we were not offered bread. We ordered salads and nothing accompanied them. There was no salt, pepper, candles, flowers, or anything on the table other than our utensil set-up and empty bread plates. We asked for bread and it came as we were halfway through our salad entrees.
Delicious food and excellent customer service
was seated next to door in very uncomfortable table. had salmon. underwhelming. just ok - but for $26 a plate I would have expected better. Mushy. Turkey burger not good either
Happy hour everyday! 3:30-6:30pm
I was so looking forward to eating at Great Maple. The staff was good. It was a bit noisy and crowded, but I was disappointed mostly with the food. It salad lacked flavor, the meat was hard and overcooked and the rest of the items were just so so. I will not be returning.
Brunch was swell
The food was mostly very good, but the service was poor. I ordered a French dip sandwich which came with a side salad. Unfortunately, the servers brought only the side salad...I had to wait for someone to come around again to ask what happened to my missing sandwich. The server realized the mistake and apologised profusely. Eventually the sandwich was brought by another lady I assumed to be a manager. She also apologized profusely and whispered to me that they wouldn't charge our bill for the sandwich because of the long delay. That all seemed very nice of them, until after my husband paid the bill and we left. Too late, I remembered to ask him whether they took the charge off for the sandwich. Well no, they had left the full charge on the tab.
