    TLDR: Book your reservation here, you won’t regret it. They made our anniversary even more special than we imagined with remarkable hospitality and food that would have you thinking about it a week later! Exceptional service and delicious food! Don’t hesitate to book this restaurant for your stay in Edinburgh. My husband and I booked Grazing by Mark Greenaway to celebrate our anniversary dinner in Edinburgh. Service: We arrived early and were warmly greeted by Elena who then promptly seated us. She walked us through the menu noting our allergies and gave us great recommendations. Our other server Nitin was also provided excellent service, was very polite, cheerful and very helpful. Not only were the staff helpful with our menu recommendations and questions, they both kindly asked us about our stay and recommended us some local gems that they enjoys and tours to go on. They were immensely helpful and kind. Service for food was also relatively quick despite ordering the Beef Wellington. Overall, the service was better than some of the Michelin stars I have dined at. Food: My husband and I thought this was the best meal we have had on our trip so far (6 days in). We ordered the treacle and stout sourdough (£3), Beef Wellington (to share; £90) and the Roasted Duck Breast (£34). Sourdough - The sourdough was one of the best bread I’ve had. The crust was satisfyingly crunchy and the inside springy and soft, absolutely worth the £3. Beef Wellington - simply put, exquisite. This Beef Wellington tasted better than what we tried at Gordon Ramsay’s Bar & Grill. The meat was tender, juicy and flavorful. The mushrooms were well executed and flavorful. The crust was a stunning golden and was very flakey. Even without the wine jus, this dish was a winner. Full of flavor! The Roasted Duck Breast - succulent and the whole dish was very cohesive! Plate licking delicious! For dessert, we recommend the sticky toffee pudding for those with a sweet tooth! A beautiful take on it!

    Everything was incredible! We had the ravioli starter and shared the beef Wellington and finished with the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. 10 out of 10 experience. I’m a little sad I’m only here on vaca and cannot return again and again!

    While the food quality remained decent, the service was unbelievably slow. There were only a few other tables in the restaurant that were seated when we had dinner. We were sitting down for approximately 20-25 minutes before anyone even came over to greet us. Getting drinks even took a very long time. The whole atmosphere seemed rather empty and eerie. They were even sold out of the soufflé. Our waitress however, was very kind. It was an unfortunate experience because this menu seemed to have a lot of potential.

    10/10 thank you for a delicious meal and great service. A special mention to Eleanor who was so knowledgable, attentive and made my mums birthday extra special. We will have to return to Edinburgh to dine again!

    While visiting Edinburgh we were fortunate to dine at Grazing. It was an entirely wonderful experience. We chose the Market Menu and the food selections were outstanding as were the wine pairing selections. The service throughout our multi course meal was uniformly excellent. I wish I could say we would be back soon, but we live far away. Our loss!

    What a great experience on a recent Edinburgh with my wife. We booked this whilst we were in Edinburgh and despite it being a Sunday evening which was a little quiet, what amazing service and stunning food. Having been in the hospitality industry myself for a long time, I am always super critical, especially if I am paying! This was a great experience, the service was impeccable, we were treated to a couple of complimentary drinks to help celebrate our wedding anniversary and the attention to detail was first class, we were totally impressed. As for the food, the meal started with those delicious amuse bouche which was followed by excellent Scottish Salmon, perfect Beef Wellington and that Sticky Toffee Souffle was to die for, something completely different but a fantastic take on an absolute favourite. I have already started recommending Grazing by Mark Greenaway to people, well done, really impressed.

    The food was bland and underwhelming. Had the butternut squash ravioli that had an odd sour taste and was sitting in a pool of oil with a weird cream underneath it that separated when the two mixed together. Beef Wellington was mediocre at best and the sticky toffee soufflé was undercooked and the caramel sauce tasted burnt. Our server was delightful but that did not make up for the overpriced, mediocre food.

    We went here because of positive reviews and we were so excited! Unfortunately we did not have a good experience at Grazing. The quality of the food was so poor. I'm pretty easily pleased and appreciate a fast food meal as much as a michelin star meal, but this food was simply gross. Quality aside, it literally just tasted horrible. We split a couple of apps and entrees and tried everything, but it was truly inedible. Hard to explain. Went straight out to grab a different meal immediately after leaving. I hate to leave a poor review but given the price point I really don't want anyone else to experience what we did and have to spend money on inedible food.

    From being welcomed by Maitre D’ Nathan to our leaving was a fantastic experience. The food was beautiful prepared and presented and it was good portion sizes. We weren’t paying for half empty plates! The quality of the food and wine was of the highest. All in all it was a lovely way to celebrate our anniversary.
