   Visiting from Boston. The weekday prefix menu was a great value! The burrata with roasted egg plant and the bolognese are definitely worth trying. My partner really loved his spinach gnocchi. It was pillowy and creamy. The hostess was delightful and the staff in general was helpful and friendly. Plus BYOB, anything you want.

   I hate to rate a new restaurant so poorly, but at least for right now this only is a one star restaurant. Their bread basket consists of little pitas about the size of a Ritz cracker, one for each person at the table. Next the pasta dishes, which we ordered two, are priced fairly as if you are in New York, but the amount of pasta they give you is so small it is as if ordered a half order. Of our entrées, the salmon was overdone, and the lentils accompanying it were tasteless. I ordered the meat of the day which was a chop, I ordered as medium, and it came out medium well completely dry. The other dish was fine, and so I made the best of my chop as did my wife with the salmon. Neither of us ate more than a few bites. When the server finally came over to ask, I told her that my chop was overdone and the salmon was also overcooked. At this point in time our guest had already eaten half of her meal and I wasn’t going to send mine back. They took nothing off the bill other than to comp one of the desserts we ordered. Not a good start and we won’t be back.

   This was our 3rd visit and once again the food is outstanding. Service is always with a smile. There were 4 of us and we all had a different entree. Each one of us thought our meal was delicious. One person in our party thought the bolognese pasta was the best that she ever had in a restaurant. She is an Italian personal chef so that is quite a compliment.

   What a delight to have first rate food professionally served in a comfortable setting in our neighborhood. We have waited years for this. After a terrific lunch and dinner, I can’t wait to bring my visiting family for a meal. The menu has a wide spectrum of offerings to please everyone, from a child to adventureous sophisticated big city diners.

   Wonderful neighborhood bistro tucked in downtown Lawrenceville on Rt 206/Main St — easy ample parking by back entrance. Foodie & family friendly menu with wonderful fresh pastas with many personal faves eg Fettuccine Zafferano shrimp in exquisite lemon saffron sauce - chef signature seafood , meat & poultry dishes - brick oven pizzas - beautiful salads - sandwiches and hearty burgers & fries. And save room for the amazing array of pastries and gelato!
