Graziano's - Chicago Ratings and Reviews
Valentines Day, expected to be crowded. Chefs where tossing dough balls to kids waiting, kind of cool to watch the interaction. Didn’t appreciate hearing one of the managers/owner possibly, scream at the chefs for to-go orders to come out faster. Pizza can only cook so fast buddy.
My girlfriends and I were there for 3 hours and saw our waiter maybe 6 times. We asked him for things and he would forget them or we wouldn’t see him for what felt like forever. Food was decent, but the service was terrible. It was a young asian man who was our server.....
The food was excellent! Great steak, chicken, appetizers and of course pasta. The marinara sauce was so good I topped the perfectly done veggies with it. Our server was polite, efficient and professional: just enough attention without being overbearing.
The only thing I did not care for was the lighting. Sitting in a booth with a low light hanging in the middle was not bad but I would not enjoy sitting at a table with a bright white spotlight shining on me. Looked more like a breakfast spot in that regard.
I've been going to this restaurant for all of the 20 years plus it's been there, started out with my parents when I was younger and now I go there with my wife and three children, it's every bit as good and cozy as it's always been I hope this place has many more years to go.
This continues to be a favorite of ours. The food and service are always great. I got a free appetizer for making a reservation on Open Table. They do a great toasted mozzarella and pasta, and the desserts continue to be good - tried the nutella dessert this time.
I always enjoy going to Graziano’s for dinner! I love their Chicken Marsala! We were surprised and excited when we were given a complementary order of Bruschetta because we made a reservation. It was very good. I was surprised however that we weren’t offered more salad when the salad is supposed to be bottomless. Otherwise, 3 out of 4 people in our party were very satisfied with their meals! Looking forward to going back there again.
Food was excellent and the servings were very generous, the food came within 10mins of our order time and was fresh and piping hot! The atmosphere was nice and it being on Thanksgiving I was really surprised as to how crowded it was. That says alot for your reputation. My husband and I plan on returning and bringing our entire family!
This is a tricky review to write because I love Graziano's food and their staff is always very good to excellent. We even went there for an Ester dinner which was fantastic and family stu=yle earlier this year.
So, we decoded to try a "stress free" Thanksgiving meal get together on Thursday for Thanksgiving. The menu sounded good with the usual classic fare. The staff was terrific. The meal was plated and you could get more of something ifinterested. Unfortunetly the flavors were lacking and I cannot put my finger on why.
The turkey was just ok the stuffing was not so good in my opinion, nor were the potatoes. They gave a chouce of mashed potato or sweet potato - and they wre just basically bland. The beans were also just ok. The cranberry was just those little plastic containers of what seemed like canned cranverries but maybe they made them and they just tasted that way. Kind of watery, actually. The pumpkin pie was giood because I asted a tiny bit of my daughter's. I selected the cranberry apple crostada dessert and the astry was not good, the filling really lacking flavor. Sad.
But then we did have a good chance to visit with our table of 7 and I know how terrific the usual Graziano's menu is - so I will go back for that and I hghly recommend that. I even recommend Easter dinner, but not this Thanksgiving meal - it missed the mark in my opinion.
Grazziano’s has been our go-to place for the gluten-free/vegetarian options desired by one family member. We’ve never been disappointed trying to cover diverse preferences when our party of four wants to dine together. While a special menu was presented for the holiday, we did order a regular menu appetizer, but were disappointed when the buffalo calamari (usually well prepared) was cold when it came to the table. This won’t prevent our family’s return, but inform our choice(s) when a special menu is offered.
