Fabulous little secret in buzzing Covent Garden, had such a wonderful evening. Great selection of sparkling wines and the staff was lovely and sharing food delicious. I’ll def be back.
Great service and interesting drinks menu but even for central London prices are on the high side.
Love atmosphere, food was delicious! Staff very attentive and friendly.
Lovely drinks and a great selection. Would recommend drinks and nibbles only. We planned to eat a full dinner but they had run out of a couple of main dishes so didn't leave much choice. Food came all once rather than starters followed by mains. Lovely service otherwise however
Always love coming to G&F and the staff are a big part of that. Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, but not pushy for you to buy more drinks or rush. I’ll be coming back. Great atmosphere and delicious nibbles and drinks. A favourite.
I booked a table for lunch time as we were heading to the Aldwych Theatre and it’s very close by. It seemed quite small but it turned out to have more tables downstairs, great decor and ambiance. The staff were very friendly, service prompt and the food was excellent, not the most extensive menu but we all found something we liked. I would like to go back in the evening to try the downstairs , it looked lovely.
Lovely staff, great ambience and location. Could have stayed a lot longer.
Love this place, great vibe and an excellent collection of wine
Bread was stale, food was mediocre and you a literally sitting on a shop window.
Not great by any stretch of the imagination however the service was lovely and the music great.
Amazing, restaurant in a beautiful area. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Would fully recommend
We had an early dinner before going to the Opera as it’s very close. We had an awful experience where there was hair in the charcuterie board we ordered.
After the incident they apologized and replaced the board, which is the minimum we would expect.
We also had the steak and it wasn’t great. The food could improve a lot.
Definitely not coming back here, after the overall experience we had.
Hi Marta, Thanks for your feedback. Checking with members of staff working that evening, we are surprised by your review. Once the hair (which didn’t match any staff on duty) was discovered, we immediately apologised, replaced the whole board of food and removed it and service for the whole meal from the bill. We repeatedly checked your table, and received compliments. A sizeable cash tip was left and we were told 'nothing was wrong with the service'. Kind regards, The Management Team
Excellent experience, a hidden gem in Covent Garden ! Eclectic mix of wines, will definately be returning.
Great wine at good price points, lovely customer service inc a few complementary tasters and an all round good night!
Lovely wine list, lovely service, we ordered the meat and cheese board but for £30 would have expected more crackers (there were only 4)
I stumbled in to this adorable room by accident and have made it my business to return every time I come to London. Great wine selection. Tasty victuals
The decor and wine are very fine indeed - albeit annoyingly we had to request that our glasses be re-filled from the Wine bucket positioned across the room ! The 2 cheese and bread light bites dishes were lackluster , and the Duck main dish was simply sloppy ; slop of bland mash or “something” with slices of Duck slapped on , neither a feast for our eyes or our stomachs , luckily there wasn’t much of it . Such a shame the food wasn’t anywhere near the standard of sumptuous decor . Drink to your Hearts content , but suggest Feed your stomach somewhere else - we wished we had.
Our group of 5 were seated below street level in a cozy nook, a spot which is great for a group of up to 10 people, although at times it did seem like we were forgotten, particularly when wanting to order more drinks. The decor is stunning, but the wines are pricey, and the food (albeit tasty) wasn't great value. Despite this, we had a very enjoyable evening, and I would still recommend this place, particularly to anyone looking to drop some coin.
great place for a catch up with friends over a bottle and a few dishes to 'Grays' over
What a gorgeous spot, with lovely hosts and beautiful curio to look at. The drinks, cakes and ice-cream were delicious.
The food was very average and didn’t suit the ambience of the venue. The drink was delicious however and would recommend for drinks
My favourite wine bar in London. Fantastic service, and one of the most interesting an exciting wine lists I've come across.
Cannot recommend highly enough - will be returning many many times.
Excellent wine and food, very attentive service. Great vibe!
Beautiful, calming interior, very extensive wine list, a rose amongst the thorns on Wellington Street.
Excellent service, lovely decor, delicious food and wine - highly recommended!
Very pleasant. Staff was excellent.
Thanks for the five way
A fantastic pre-theatre experience at Grays and Feather. Highly recommend some bubbles with the "All aboard" sharing platter - food is as fabulous as the wine selection! Excellent, efficient and friendly service....we spent the afternoon sitting outside watching the world go by and could have stayed all evening if it wasn't for going to see a show. Thanks for a great afternoon!
Love this bar. Best Aperol Spritz in London! Plus the Olives are amazing.
Table was booked for 3 but only layed out for 2 on arrival...staff could have pushed for more drinks instead of us asking if we can order then order more
Overall we loved it.
We had a quiet table in the exquisitely decorated lower level. Service, food, arena all excellent. Will stop in again for certain!
Met friends here before dinner for a few drinks and nibbles. We booked a table and had a choice so picked the snug wine cellar downstairs. Charles Dickens wrote and published for the building so there's a real air of history. The owners, a mother and son team, gave us a warm welcome and took time to explain the wine menu and their plans for this recently opened venue. The choice of wine is amazing with everything from English to Patagonian with high quality food to match. We will definately be back and highly recommend this as a place to meet and socialise.
Lovely spot on the edge of Covent Garden. Thought it might be a bit of a tourist trap but booked a table no problem and it’s a little oasis in a busy part of London. Service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive. They didn't rush us at all, we were there for over 3 hours! Nice selection of wines, food was slightly on the pricey side - we got the sharing cheese and charcuterie board which was £27 and came with some crackers. We needed more crackers and chutney to finish the cheese and they happily obliged. The decor was on point - loved the Mr T and Brad Pitt cushion covers!
