I would say possible run a food inspection before sending it out because it was a bit cold when we got our food. Otherwise, everything was great!
Awesome food and highly attentive staff! 10/10 would dine here again.
Chef Matt Bell is doing great (and delicious) things at Gray & Dudley. I could probably eat a thousand of those boudin rangoons.... And if it killed me, I'd die happy, because they're that good.
Food was just okay. Appetizers were good but the skillet cornbread was overcooked and dry. Waiter was new and dod fine other than forgetting about us at the end. We sat with our checks for about 30 minutes before I finally took them to him. Neat place - good ambiance but menu could use some work.
This was a great place to go with our two young kids. They were kid-friendly but also perfect for my husband and me.
We went there for drinks and appetizers. Service and food was good. Would definitely go back.
We love this restaurant but not this visit. This was a birthday lunch for my 93 year old friend. The instructions to reach the building, on a street blocked because of a recent bombing, were completely incorrect.
The restaurant at brunch on a weekend was nearly empty but they claimed to have no juice, despite the fruity alcoholic beverages on the menu.
I asked, three days in advance, again that morning, and again when I arrived, for a birthday dessert. Not something free, just a cake or cupcake or something that I could buy. That didn't happen.
I had to get up numerous times when the waiter was missing in action. He was extremely nice and funny but that doesn't help when we couldn't find him. When I asked the waiter about the missing birthday dessert, he brought four cookies for eight diners.
Each of us were charged $15 for the valet parking, despite the fact that the valet never touched my car. He simply left it where I put it.
Food was adequate but for these price shouldn't it have been swell? This was our first trip to a restaurant in a year. I think we'll wait another year before we return.
I assume this is the fault of trying to reopen after a pandemic. Still, very disappointing.
Good not great. It costs $15 to park. Nice space.
What a fabulous meal. Our waiter was helpful, friendly, gave excellent recommendations and yet allowed privacy for us to dine. It was a great experience. We came back for brunch the next day and had the same delightful waiter. The food was wonderful! Sad we couldn’t have had more meals here.
Food and atmosphere were great. The cocktails were excellent. The real treat was the special request I made with our reservation. I asked for something goofy just for fun. They came through with flying colors. Loved the place.
Very surprised how nice it was. The food was excellent. All four of us ordered different entrees & all agreed they were very good. We loved the museum too!
Excellent food, excellent drinks, and excellent ambiance with a knowledgeable wait staff.
- Old Fashioned’s are superb
Chef Matt Bell is a genius. I’ve followed him from his first chef-owned establishment, South on Main, in Little Rock, AR to here. Stopped through town just for dinner and it was totally worth it! The catfish is amazing!
This was a great experience. The cost was reasonable and the food was very good. The staff was excellent from arrival until departure.
Good was not as good as it had been before. Didn’t seem to have as many choices. Friends were not impressed. Nashville is known for great dining.
We had a wonderful experience! The service was personable, attentive and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was awesome- definitely get the dips and schmears!! We will definitively be back!
Brunch was extremely small portions. Avocado toast was 1 slice, 1/4 avocado, micro-greens. Nothing extraordinary except for the price.
Huge thank you to the entire staff! Not only were they open during the snow/ice storm that hit Nashville this week but they were also friendly and served up great food. Thanks so much!
Great Valentine celebration with friends.
The food was good. The drink I had was the most memorable. The service was fantastic.
Had a wonderful Valentine's dinner! Great service and COVID precautions.
Over priced. Meh meal. Was a pre made menu that was $65 per person. Trout was very disappointing. Not at all an attractive presentation. And did not taste that good at all. Very disappointing fish. The desert was this chocolate type of cake thing. Almost like a pan cake. Was very dry. Disappointing. I always finish all my dessert and I didn’t get half way though that thing. The pre dinner salad was a cold broccoli ceaser salad. Was just ok not really a salad more a cold broccoli dish with ceaser dressing. Odd combo. Total disappoint especially for $65 per plate.
Food was just ok. Sounded good on menu but not delicious. We may be done with this restaurant. Sad because ambience is cool.
The atmosphere is so unique. The food was delicious. The service was outstanding.
The food was all good but they have a limited menu.
Yet again an amazing experience at G&D! The food is divine with lots of great choices. The service is top notch, and it's just a welcoming and lovely space.
Was a beautiful dinner. Loved the fries! Freshly cut! Gorgeous and lovely ambience.
Gray & Dudley is FANTASTIC. A MUST STOP in Nashville!
The seared Catfish was cooked to perfection. The server suggested a French 75 to drink- could definitely be my new favorite drinks. Such an experience. All Covid precautions were in placed. Will definitely be back.
My two adult boys and I went to Gray and Dudley on Christmas Eve and were greeted efficiently and warmly. We were offered cocktails prior to dinner and enjoyed touring the art gallery prior to dinner. The meal and service was impeccable and will be a memory for years to come. I pray for the employees of the restaurant and hotel as they were very close to the Nashville bombing.
Hi Gregg! We are so delighted that you enjoyed your Christmas Eve with us! You and your boys were a true pleasure to have. Thank you for your kind words. We are thankfully safe and excited to be back January 15th! We hope you enjoyed the rest of your holiday season, stay safe and if you feel like venturing out, we'd love to see you back! Many thanks, G&D Team
It was awesome! Great food, GREAT service
It was “ok”. Went for Thanksgiving dinner. The price on the website was about $30. However when we got the bill it was 50 something. The food was OK, nothing special.
Hi alcearl, I am so sorry to hear about the miscommunication on the pricing of the Thanksgiving dinner. Holidays are as important as ever and we are very sorry to have not delivered what you all were expecting. We hope you will give us another chance to get it right in the New Year. Madeline Smith | Restaurant Manager
Service was great, cocktails were excellent, but the cuisine was overpriced and disappointing. Cool, trendy space, but we were only one of two tables on a Wednesday evening — kind of a dead feeling.
This meal was amazing. The whole experience with people who worked there - they were so accommodating and kind. They make everything from scratch - whipping up steak sauce right there. Everything we had was so delicious. Highly recommend. Plus you can walk around 21c afterwards and look at art. 10/10. Will be coming back
While in Nashville we wanted to checkout the 21C Museum Hotel. We live in Louisville where there is a 21C and lived in Cincinnati where there is also a 21C. Great places indeed!
You are a Penguin fan for sure! Thanks for the love and so happy that you came to visit us in Nashville, home of the teal penguins. Excited to hear about where your next 21c trip will take you. Enjoy the holidays and stay safe. Many thanks, G&D Team
Good experience, but nothing memorable
AmaZing little spot in the hotel. Really loved walking around after we ate
The restaurant was largely empty due to COVID which definitely made it feel like a hidden gem. Our waitress Jenny was incredible and so helpful with suggestions for the area because we were new! The food is to die for. Th catfish was absolutely divine and the barbecue shrimp is an absolute must-order.
Bonus points to their “secret Sunday” wine list. We got an absolutely delicious Vinho verde bottle for only $20 and it was absolutely divine. Not to mention the restaurant is attached to a hotel/ art museum you can take your drink with you to view! Would be great for a date night or really any occasion.
10/10, an amazing restaurant. I will most definitely be eating here again.
Love that you loved everything about your dinner with us including Jenny's service, the "hidden gems" wine list and the catfish! Truly appreciate you coming to dine with us and hope to see you again soon. -The Gray & Dudley Team
Amazing food and service. Really neat relaxed vibe. The pork belly was on point.
While the food was good, the wait for the food was long. Additionally the menu is quite limited for Sunday brunch.
