Great outdoor seating and heat lamps if you want to keep covid in mind. Spaghetti and meatballs was awesome!!

Still my favourite place to eat out in Raleigh, especially during COVID as they take significant measures to ensure social distancing.

Leaving the main door to the outside open (I'm guessing bc of covid) was pretty annoying given it was 39 degrees outside. Pure dumbness

We were not allowed to sit together as a family for my daughters 13th birthday party dinner despite having reservations. It was very awkward and being that my daughter is in a leg cast we could not quickly change venues.
The service was slow and inattentive. Dirty dinner plates were left on the table through dessert and no fresh dessert utensils were provided. Very disappointing

Had an excellent meal at Gravy, took friends (party of 5) from out of town. Even with COVID requirements, had great meal, service was great.

Wonderful dinner and service. We had the outside to ourselves and were quite comfortable with the outdoor heaters being used.
We had both risottos and the hazelnut dessert. YUM!
If you haven't been here yet what are you waiting for? This place is a must try and will be on your favorites list for life!

My boyfriend and I had a great experience eating at Gravy! Our meals and drinks were both delicious. We will definitely be returning to try different menu items!

The front door was left half way open the entire time of our visit.
We were freezing, it was January not June! We asked the waiter for the reason and he said covid. If we had wanted to sit in their outside area, we would have requested that. We will not back, our entire meal was cold before we even finished it.

I cannot express with words how delicious the food was. Great service, good drinks, and nice atmosphere. Best meal I’ve had out in months, and I eat out a few times a week.

The food here never disappoints. We enjoyed every dish we got, especially the gnocchi and lasagna. Draft beers were $3 that night too and one of our favorite IPAs was one of the selections so we were very happy! Overall, the meal was fantastic and the service was great even though they were extremely busy with DoorDash orders. We’ve been going here for years and will continue to do so!

The service and atmosphere was great but the food wasn’t to my liking, I tried some new things and for the most part it was good. I didn’t put less than 5 stars because of my opinion on the food but all around it was deserving of the 5 stars!

So so delicious. Their sauce or "gravy" is the best I've ever had. Their bread is so soft yet flakey, the calamari was delicious and the lasagna (which is something I wouldn't normally order) was ::chefs kiss:: The sauce is so good they sell it by the jar. The outdoor seating is super cute, has heating lamps and great for date night. Quiet atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Excellent food. Leaned a bit more towards cheese, cream and butter, but excellent seafood and risotto.

Lunch with my 2 adult kids. Absolutely delicious. Tagliatelle was the favorite although my chopped Italian salad was great too. This isn’t my first time there and definitely won’t be my last! Excellent food in a nice setting.

We love the friendly, casual atmosphere. The risotto balls as an appetizer were perfect. Crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The lasagna was wonderful. Others at our table had the gnocchi and said it was delicious. Service was excellent. We won't wait so long to go back and enjoy a great Italian meal.

I recently ate at Gravy with some friends and it was our first time eating there. I must say we were all blown away. Everything we ordered was amazing. We had light and fluffy calamari for an appetizer, and ordered drinks. I ordered one of the most delicious old fashions I’ve had in years. It was just sweet enough and aromatic, you could really taste the whiskey which is sadly more rare than it should be. We then ordered and one of my friends said “This is the first time, I’ve ever been impressed with spaghetti.” Which pretty much sums up the quality of food. Gravy takes pasta to the next level, from the sauce to the pasta, everything was beyond expectation. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was flavorful and thick enough to stick to the pasta but thin enough that it didn’t mix. All in all a wonderful experience and will definitely return!

Every time I visit Raleigh, I always make time to eat at Gravy! Friendly staff and delicious food every time I come here!

service was Phenomenal! It was the highlight, for sure. The quality of food, however...I was very underwhelmed, esp considering the price points. Disappointed, actually. My salmon was very overcooked and bland...atop overcooked dried out broccolini and potatoes. The calamari was undercooked and rubbery. My partner's risotto was poorly cooked and watery...I expected a lot more from Gravy...

Friend birthday

From appetizers to dessert, dinner was was a pleasant and delicious experience. Calamari and flatbread appetizers set the tone. Main courses were the bolognese and rigatoni with vodka sauce. The more we ate, the better the dishes tasted. Lemon ricotta cake with blueberry sauce and ice cream was refreshing. Not too sweet and very lite. Gravy is the term used in Philadelphia for red sauce. As Philadelphia transplants, my wife and I both agreed that this meal tasted like home.

My friends and I love going to Gravy for their delicious gnocchi and Budino. Service is professional without being oppressive. We had a wonderful meal and evening as usual

Food was good,service was good. Enjoyable restaurant.

It was a fairly good experience! We were greeted promptly and with a smile! With our server We were not offered the complimentary garlic bread and had to ask for it. Otherwise he was quite attentive and quick! The food was not as full of flavor as expected.

After two other failed restaurant attempts that night, we ended up at Gravy, and I’m so glad we did. They had open air outdoor seating with heaters in their courtyard, ordering via QR code at the table, along with a server who was masked and stood away from the table. They even provided paper baggies for us to put our own masks away when we were seated so they wouldn’t touch the table. I had the beet salad and the eggplant pie; my husband had the seafood chowder and the scallops. Everything was so tasty: seasoned perfectly and generous portions. We were too stuffed for dessert! We will definitely make a trip back.

Great place for a outdoor dining option. They have a wonderful off-street courtyard with approx 12 socially distanced tables and heaters. Service was quick and friendly and, of course, food was excellent.

They did an excellent job ensuring all the proper COVID precautions were taken. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, excellent service, and Food was wonderful

The food was pretty tasty, once we got it. Our reservation was at 8:30 and it was after 9:45 when we finally got our food. The restaurant closed at 10, so it felt rushed to eat and pay and leave so they could close on time.

The server was wonderfully personable, though her recommendations were not spot on at all. The dishes we chose based on her recommendations were mediocre at best. The cappuccino was undrinkable despite my best efforts to doctor it. The ambiance was lovely until we saw a rat scamper across the courtyard.

Great food and service! I got the shrimp pasta dish. Perfect heat level for me but for those that don’t like spicy foods; it’s not for you. Lasagna 10/10
