Need to book at 7:30 AM?Other great restaurants with availability.
Wonderful food in a fun, attractive venue. It's especially nice during the day when the blinds are up and the glorious weather can pour in, but it's elegant at night.
Overall good place to dine. Both food and service were excellent. Ambient was just ok, nothing special, almost felt like, eating at casual dining. Prices for food are higher and they top that up with a ~ 4% surcharge. We won’t go back unless for special occasions where we are ready to spend more money.
Server was slow, wasn’t very attentive. I had to go grab our own High-Chair for our son and carry it across the restaurant to the outside patio. No server or host came and asked if I needed help while carrying it. During our time the place was not very busy, so I don’t know why it was slow. The food runners where very nice and helpful, more so than our server.
Will come back for the food and drinks, hopefully we get better service next time. If not we’ll then we give up.
Great atmosphere and food. It is very comfortable to sit outside year round.
Loved the Mexican Street Broccoli!
Loved the Caesar salad with Rockfish!
The food was great and served in a timely fashion at lunchtime.
Great meal, good wine selection, except that 2 wines in the menu not available, but fortunately our server, Katherine R made up for it. Thanks Katherine !
Son was in town. So noisy we couldn’t talk. Table so big we couldn’t talk across it. Food was fine but not memorable. We’ve been to GH four times before this and we were wowed with everything from food to drinks.
Great brunch place for families with infants. Service is excellent and compliments the delicious food. Our family loves their vegan options.
First visit, had heard alot of good things about it. Busy Friday night and noise level was through the roof, even noisy on the patio where we sat. Food was good, not stellar, good service that was attentive and helpful.
The grabber was the 3.95% automatically added to the bill to help with minimum wage as well as their
check system automatically adding a suggested 20%. So you're at the table, waitress waiting for you to
either agree or adjust the tip. It was awkward to say the least. Plus, we weren't sure if the automated tip was based on the food only (as it's supposed to be calculated) or on the total tip including tax. To add $3.95% to the bill was out of line especially based on the huge crowd there. They're doing enough business to cover their own employees without dinging the customer. Won't be going back.
Great ambiance and excellent service
Let me start by saying this was our first visit to Gravity Heights, but definitely not our last.
We started our dinner with Crab Fries. I've heard of bbq pulled pork on fries, but crab? It was delicious. Homemade cheese sauce, real crab, sweet & pickled peppers, green onion and sriracha (if your like me & can only handle a little heat, then ask for it on the side)
I choose the Vegetarian Baked Lasagna. It was creamy & light (not heavy like most lasagna dishes).
The other dish was the Lamb Bolognese. My boyfriend said it was amazing. Lots of flavor!
We decided to have dessert and glad we did. The Apple Crisp was delicious. Apples melted in your mouth with a crisp topping and ice cream topping this warm dish.
The service was excellent. (Sorry I do not remember our servers name), but she definitely added to our great experience we had.
We love the sister restaurant WhisknLadle in La Jolla and look forward to trying your other restaurants.
The happy hour was delightful but street and room noise was difficult for conversation. Still it was enjoyable.
Fun place, good beers and elevated menu.
The food was great, and the beers even better. Really a fun place when it’s busy.
Our server, Sarah (not sure if with or without an "h"), was amazing. Our food was excellent, but her service and sense of humor made the evening a stand-out. Thank you!
Our server Molly was very professional, fun and pays attention to details like a pro. I got the Korean chicken sandwich and unfortunately it just wasn't as good as the other entries I have had. The pizzas and the burgers are to die for, and the Bhel Puri is unique, light and refreshingly fun. I also love the peach crostini and the crab fries are a wonderful guilty pleasure.
Very loud to sit out in the covered patio, difficult to carry on conversation. Great food, wonderful service.
Good food and good venue. Lots of unique options for both food and beer and a very kind accommodating staff.
Love this place! Been here several times for lunch. First time tonight for dinner. Food and service were exceptional! Bhel Puri was so unique and wonderful. Pork chops were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Juicy and tender. Piping hot, fresh baked cookie with ice cream was the perfect was to end dinner. And to top it off, it was restaurant week. What a great deal!
We enjoyed Gravity Heights this past weekend with a group of 8 (3 couples) and all went well. Staff was very friendly, food was tasty and beer was too. Fish Tacos were tasty, Falafel burger to die for and Duck Liver "BANH MI", oh my was sooo good. Highly recommend GH and look forward to our next visit.
Great food and ambience - only bummer was that we were kicked out at 10.30 on a saturday night
Really fun atmosphere! Great for groups! Our server, Elizabeth D. was extremely friendly and attentive. The service was great! I had the falafel burger. It was tastey, not dry at all! My husband had the Korean chicken sandwich, which had a nice spice. Will definitely be returning to try more entrees.
good place to go for some quick bites after work or to socialize with some drinks
Very good food!
Food overall is good. Their starters and pizza are definitely better than the entrees, especially when you take into the value vs flavor. The duck liver crostini, ahi crudo, white pizza and wild mushroom pizza were our favorite. Service, on the other hand, can be improved. It seems like they are not staffed for that night's capacity. The servers are nice but very slow so be prepared to flag down any server if you need something.
Went for my birthday with 4 people and were able to get seated earlier than our reservation and had amazing service. Our waitress was very friendly and the dirty fries were great!
Been there several times. Usually no complaints, but this time my salmon was overcooked and the carrots were poorly prepared and unevenly cooked. Very disappointed compared to the other times I have left thinking how great the experience is.
Atmosphere is beautiful, hip and bright. Service was friendly. Food is so so, very rich. Fries had no salt although they were nice and crispy, they looked better than they tasted. They don't have any alternative to 2% milk for your coffee. These days with so many food intolerances they should have another choice. Then we ask for tea- nope, no tea bags! They offered hot water and a slice of lemon. You got to be kidding! Things like this that are so easy to have to service their customers properly prevent me from going back and giving Gravity Heights a second shot.
Food is good, although it may seem overpriced. Food options are limited in my opinion. Great ambiance and service is good. It can get loud when it is busy. They have nice outdoor area and bar. Kid friendly.
We enjoyed our dinner and the service was excellent. Will definitely go back.
Great food and great service. Pizza outstanding. Salads as well.
Food was good... they were out of the beer I wanted @1230 pm! Service was not good! Waiting 10 minutes to get water and a beer. Hamburgers were good pork belly hash was ok. Wife wanted a salad with her hamburger instead she got fries. I wanted salt, pepper, and hot sauce for my food but the waiter never came back to the table except to give my wife her salad so my food was plain.
First time there and not going back!
Was hoping the breakfast food would be just has yummy as the dinner food, but I was sadly disappointed. The scrambled eggs were runny, the bacon was floppy, and the coffee was bland and watered down. Won’t be coming back for breakfast, but definitely will come back for lunch/dinner. The service has been great every time and the setting is modern and comfortable. The drinks and beers are great too!
We had our office Christmas lunch at Gravity Heights and the general consensus was that the food was okay compared to our visit during the summer months. It was almost impossible to hear each other speak. Servers were great and attentive.
We were helped by Rory and she was perfectly attentive. The service was quick and efficient without feeling like we were being rushed. The food was delicious as was the beer. We can’t wait to go back!
Very polished place. Extremely loud, which I guess is what they're going for but a bit much for me. Very strange ordering process for beer. It took quite awhile between placing an order and the glass getting to the table. Seemed like some extra steps in that process that could be eliminated for efficiency. Food was excellent, and overall a really cool place
I went with a group of 8, 5 adults and three children. We were all satisfied with the food we ordered. The value of the food was good. The vegetables and fruit were fresh. The meat was good. The beers were refreshing.
