New, clean, and fairly quiet. Good service and excellent food.
Great food & service! Super noisy though, acoustics could be improved. Restaurant felt really warm all night, I guess each time the front door would open a major heat wave would engulf the whole place even on the back of restaurant. Bathroom was nice and cold though. Could use some late afternoon blinds to help reduce heat from windows and sun.
Great service, amazing food, and gorgeous ambiance! Love it!
Great food and customer service!
Food was excellent.
A simple and nice family restaurant, perfect for a quick breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Decided to try a new place and had read some good feedback on Grato, so we gave it a whirl. It did not disappoint! The food was delicious with good variety as well as nice specials to choose from, the service by Sydney was outstanding, and Joe the owner stopped by to chat a couple of times and to make sure everything was to our liking. Perfect evening for a casual date night.
Amazing food and service
We had an excellent experience at Grato! Service was excellent and the food was outstanding (not to mention large portion sizes). For Winter Park, this restaurant provides affordable dining without sacrificing the quality. Highly recommend.
Hello Jim! We really appreciate your feedback! Thank you for being so kind. We are thrilled to have pleased you with a great dinning experience Salute!
Service was great - employees were very attentive. The food was very good for the price point (extremely reasonable!) Their mixed drinks were very good too. We didn't even know Grato had opened on Park Ave but we would definitely go back again.
Food was great. Pasta cooked perfectly. Only complaint was one of our desserts, the dolce Leche cake was dry. Tiramisu was delicious.
The food was amazing! We’ll be regulars.
Very limited menu. Went for Father’s Day, could not even Order a small kids pizza. Food was okay at best. Expensive!
Very expensive. Kind of disappointed. Great service. Great staff. Not the yummiest food.
Required dress code of business casual is totally misleading. No one followed it, particularly the young man who was slumped at the bar with the underwear exposed.
Food was very good, service was good but that is where it ended.
Extremely hot inside at night. We asked to be seated outside and it took nearly 10 min to switch tables. The taste of the food was great.
A lot of noise from the next-door restaurant. Pizza was missing tomatoes and they used regular cheese instead of fresh mozarella cheese. Glasses not as clean as you expect for an expensive restaurant. Poor service. The waiter didn't even know what should be on the pizza we ordered.
What a lovely Mother's Day brunch we had ... food was delicious, our server was excellent (Sydney), owner made his rounds to make sure everyone was enjoying their meal and even brought out samples of other food that was just as delicious as the main meal. Definitely a do-over!!!
Wonderful Mother’s Day brunch
Over all a very pleasant experience. Service was friendly. Appetiser took a while. Entrees was nice. Portions were nice. Not over too big.
Will come back. Worth the 40 minutes drive.
The waiter was very gracious and pleasant. But the food was very dissapointing. I had a pan-seared snapper. I could tell it was previously frozen and not from Florida. I inquired. It turns out they import their snapper from Indonesia.
My sister got a simple spaghetti and meatballs. It was average-tasting; something you could get a a Chinese fast-food joint. Ironically, it also took an hour to get our food, and they weren't busy at all.
A bit of a wait to get our drinks appetizer and entree. Appetizers were good entree was better.
Very limited menu. One in our party was gluten free and there really wasn’t much for her.
I had the chicken parm which was to thick and over cooked which made it hard to chew. Fish dinners were tasteless.
We were greeted warmly by the server and quickly shown to our table. Excellent food and attentive service throughout the meal and never felt rushed as we lingered over our deserts. Top notch experience and will be back soon.
We had a party of six. All of us enjoyed our meals and the sangria was great too. Our server was very attentive. Small friendly atmosphere.
Great surprise. Food was over my expectations. The sangria was pretty good too.
Their garlic knots were amazing! I had a pasta primavera and it was very tasty! The server was really sweet and even laughed at all my FIL dad jokes.
The positives- very friendly and welcoming staff
We ordered mussels to start. Flavor was ok but 5 of the 20 hadn’t opened during cooking ( meaning don’t eat -they’re dead) and were served any way. We brought it to the attention of our server who acknowledged that meant they weren’t safe to eat but she didn’t offer to bring us more. Had 2 different salads. Both ok. Ordered pork chop Marsala and creamy snapper for entrees. Took 45 minutes to be served and the dishes were inedible. The fish had to have been microwaved. It was rubbery and had absolutely no flavor save the cream sauce. Same with the pork chop. Dry and rubbery. $150 later (including tip) for really bad food. Won’t be back. Such a shame.
As usual it was a wonderful dining experience. Daniel was our server, he was the time before also, and, as usual, he's so nice and helpful. Highly recommend the Pork Chop Masala!! Anything really :)
The food was good, the waiter was great, and we liked the entire vibe. I always get nervous when a place has fish printed on the menu, that usually means that the fish is frozen or they would never be confident enough that they would have it each day to print on a menu. They have a couple of snapper dishes on the menu so who knows, maybe it is fresh. We did not order fish, we shared a nice pizza, my wife had linguini and clams which was good. This has a feel of a nice little family Italian place, fair prices...just overall really nice feeling here. I hope they do really well, and I bet they do.
Way too many French fries, enough for 4 people. Pizza much larger than server described, but good. Steak was overcooked, but tasty, needed more fat trimmed before cooking. Tiramisu looks great, but was full of fries.
Calamari, pizza and pasta and service all excellent!
I had an amazing time with family and friends for my mother’s birthday. The server was awesome, and the food was exceptional.
I have been to this restaurant a couple of times. I was happy the first time, but the next visits proved to be disappointing. The service is not very good. The staff is slow, inattentive and uninformed about the menu. I was not impressed by the fact that we had reservations, no one was waiting in line before us, and it took a long time to get a table in a restaurant that was not full. The food was mediocre for the price and the deserts taste like something that was bought in a supermarket instead of cooked on premises. There are much better restaurants in Park Avenue . . . would skip this one. Also, parking is ridiculous.
Great food! Service was good and great with kids!
Appetizers and dinner, including pizza, are great! The Prosciutto pizza with cauliflower crust was awesome. The Picanha steak is really good and the regular pizzas are awesome. Appetizers, bruschetta and cheese triangles are a gotta have for my family.
Very nice restaurant...great service...
So glad to have GRATO as a new part of our Winter Park dining family! The food was delicious, service was impeccable, and most of all, the entire experience felt very homey and welcoming. This was our first time and will not be the last! God bless everyone at GRATO! =)
What a Wonderfull feedback! We are glad to have offered you a great experience! You are welcome back at anytime Amanda. See you soon! ;*
Food was excellent! We got there early 4:30 so not many people but I will definitely recommend
Thank You Thank You and Thank You early bird! <3
Dcent experience. The food was nice and the atmosphere very energetic. Great place for socializing. Highly recommend it. Parking stinks, however, but the same is true for every restaurant on Park Avenue.
