My husband and I went to Grasso's for a weeknight meal to take advantage of Restaurant Week. The selection of appetizers, entrees and desserts offered was great, I could not decide what to get. I don't think I could have gone wrong with any decision I made, but I was very happy with my choices. Everything was delicious.
Part of our 50th wedding anniversary was held at Grasso’s. They treated us to a glass of champagne, and our dessert was served with a flaming sparkler. All done in good taste with professionalism. Definitely worth the trip, and we’ll be back!
We always enjoy Grasso's. Our main draw is the live jazz music. Food quality is good and portion size ample. Nice bar and bar menu. Haven't sat outside yet but it looks cozy.
Everything was wonderful. Food was delicious!!
The food was delicious! Our waiter was so nice. However, we waited 45 minutes to be seated and the bar area is very tight! I think they overbooked or took walk ins on a Saturday night? I’d definitely go back but not with a 7:45pm reservation!!
The music and food were excellent.
70th birthday celebration featuring excellent food and wine and wonderful light jazz to complement the evening.
My friends and I had a wonderful evening. Alexis Cole and her trio, who were performing that night, were fabulous. The food was outstanding as was the service.
I hope that Alexis will come back to perform again soon!
One of our favorite restaurants. Excellent food preparations, excellent live music. Gale Storm was at her best! Friendly and attentive service.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner. The food and wine were delicious. Quiet enough to talk, but a lovely jazz duo played while we dined adding to the general wonderful ambiance of the evening.
Delicious, well prepared food, great music and lovely dining room. Perfect experience as always. Thank you!
Good food at slightly escalated prices. Went for Easter brunch and no special Easter choices were offered.
Portion of huge roll, small crab cake. Don't let an oversized slider get lost in a huge bun. And ice cream dessert is NOT fairly priced at $10
Not our first time here and it continues to meet expectations. Music should be quieter allowing families to talk among themselves during a holiday observance.
one of a few places on Long Island still offering life Jazz. Unfortunately, we were seated 45 minutes after our scheduled reservation. While the food was very good, waiters and waitresses were accommodating and friendly, busboy staff seemed a little condescending at times. Otherwise, a good location and a charming little town. Expect the pain New York City prices for this Long Island restaurant
Food, service, overall experience was fantastic!!
Food was excellent, service was lacking.
The food was delicious. We all had specials that were amazing. The service was great and 2 of us had branzino that was deboned tableside. Not a bone in it.
My only complaint at this restaurant is that we go quite frequently and there is no recognition of that fact. Even a hello, how have you been would be nice.
First time for me. Got there 30 minutes prior to reservation. Had a drink at the bar. Sean [ the bar keep] was super friendly. Made decision to have dinner at bar. Was the right decision. Sean made wine recommendations and could not have been more attentive. Had some appetizers and ordered from bar menu. Smaller portions than regular menu. music started around 7. Not over powering - and really good. A return to Grasso's is already being planned .
Didn't know it was the only place on LI with live jazz every night. My husband and I had a great time. Entertainment was great!
Very good food and great service. Nice atmosphere.
I had to wait more than an hour to being seated, even so I had a confirmed reservation.
Always have a great meal here
Love the place, food great! Music venue very nice. Waiters very attentive. My favorite place.
Wonderful food and fabulous music last night by Larry and Jen!
Enjoyed the live music
Food was very good with large portions. Service was spotty. We had called ahead that we had a Birthday at the table and they did not follow through until reminded twice.
It was slow Sunday night but the live music was very good, the bartender was alive and part of the conversation. The food was good not great but we did not order anything extraordinary either. Bar pie, salad, and a quesadilla with a few drinks. Thought the tab was reasonable or maybe a touch pricey. Music fee? :)
Brunch was a great deal, the entrees came with a complimentary champagne beverage and were very reasonably priced. The food was tasty I had the Spanish omelette. Ambience was nice they had 2 jazz musicians playing throughout brunch.
Great service. Very accommodating for special dietary needs. Very enjoyable listening music
Grasso’s is consistently exceptional when it comes to fresh fish, delicious meat dishes and pasta. Very pretty with a friendly vibe and great service. The Jazz is an extra bonus. I had a birthday party here that could not have been better and have been a fan ever since. A resident of CSH and frequent diner Grasso’s is a local favorite!
Consistently outstanding across the board from every staff member to every dish I have ever eaten here! The music and ambiance complete the package.
Always outstanding! You can’t go wrong with live jazz music, delicious food, accommodating and appropriately attentive staff, and the perfect ambiance. You will want to keep coming back to try everything on the menu.
Place was picked based on reviews for Valentines Day dinner ambiance was very nice waiter was nice but tried rushing us out the entire meal food was good but $$
We went for the jazz brunch on a rainy Sunday. The atmosphere was relaxing, food was really good and the music was perfect. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be back.
As always excellent food with great wait service. Wonderful entertainment, and
overall a fantastic experience.
Delicious food - many options including fish. Live music is always fun.
I took my wife to Grasso's last Friday night to celebrate her birthday, and we had a wonderful evening. The food was fantastic (she had chicken, I had the Fusilli with bolognese), the service wonderful, and they gave her a "firecracker" to celebrate her birthday.
One funny part of the evening: I stopped my waiter as I was on my way to the men's room. He asked me:
"Birthday or anniversary?"
"What's her name?"
"OK - we got it!"
And sure enough they did. We've been to Grasso's several times and never been disappointed....we'll be back!
Ordered the twice cooked duck, excellent! No problem substituting with veggies for the starch
Had a fabulous time with great friends .
Love the staff and the food
Where ru nice live music. Good was excellent. Restaurant was freezing and the service was very slow but nice and professional. For a restaurant so nice it was empty. Perhaps cuz it was Monday night. This place is a gem and more people should visit.
The food was good but the service was not ideal. Good date spot.
