Best kept secret in Louisville , will go back soon. Quality service portions, wow!
This has become our favorite restaurant in Louisville!!!
Have never been disappointed here. The food is wonderful
Loved the atmosphere!!! It’s a must go!!!! Food was great!!!
As always, Grassa Gramma delivers when it comes to a fun atmosphere, delicious food and excellent service. Tarek and his staff are so personable and Ron Rice is an amazing chef. Grassa Gramma is our favorite go-to restaurant when we want authentic Italian cuisine.
The place is positively beautiful! As soon as you step thru the door you are transported out of Louisville to another world. The food is scrumptious! My husband wanted to take my garlic bread too immediately after he ate his first bite and every dish that followed was just as delicious. My only complaint is that it is rather pricey so it will have to be a special occasion place for us (we were celebrating our anniversary) but it certainly delivers. It was everything I had hoped it would be.
So so so yummy! The perfect date night! My husband and I had a wonderful evening and will definitely be back soon!
Nice atmosphere, good food and wine. Knowledgeable service staff
The decor was absolutely amazing! Everything we ordered was delicious from appetizers to dessert!
Wonderful date night experience from the moment we opened the giant wood doors. Felt like we walked through a portal straight to Italy. Perfect ambience from the decor, lighting, and music. Food was excellent and Service was even better. Our server Parker always seemed to be there whenever we needed anything, yet my wife and I still felt like it was a private dinner with just the two of us. One of the best date night experiences we have ever had together. We will definitely be returning the next opportunity or excuse we get to come back and try different things on the menu. Thank you!
Excellent atmosphere and the food was outstanding.
Great food, large portions for the price. The restaurant itself designed as an Italian villa makes for a unique setting and for excellent special occasion dining. Service was exemplary, always quickly present but never to the point of disturbance or hovering. A great choice for homemade Italian food.
We had a wonderful experience. Carrie was a great waitress and very attentive. We will be back.
Great food and atmosphere!!!
They never seem to seat your reservation on time-a little disappointing. The food was really good. Nice presentation and flavorful. I was disappointed in the time it took to receive the main course. It took far too long for my liking. Other than that, it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere is fun and inviting.
We love Grassa. So, when my sister and brother in law came into town I knew I had to take them. We had a party of 8 and were seated promptly at our reservation time. Our server Josh was the best! Friendly, fun, and appropriately attentive. The toast before dinner is always a treat. My brother in law ordered the sole and thought it bland, but the rest of us really enjoyed our entrees. The salads are delicious, as are the desserts. I do wish they'd come around more often with the bread. Such a fun atmosphere and convenient location, we'll be back again and again.
Excellent food and service. We had spaghetti and meatballs and the salmon entrees and both were right on!
The restaurant itself is great. Love the attention to detail. Food is good, but not exceptional but in all fairness, Italian is hard to make exceptional. Overall a really nice experience. Will be back
Impeccable service by Angela!!! Food.. delicious!!
This experience was much better then the last. Enjoyed our evening and our waitress Carrie did a great job. Nice way to end a long wkend of a family holiday.
It was good but for the money it wasn’t great. I feel like you are paying for the location more than the quality.
It's a beautiful place, we got the veal and it was huge, but the meat was tasteless, everyone else liked their meal ok, but didn't knock our socks off for the price. The best part was the server, she was excellent, great personality, just disappointed with the food.
Beautiful place
Our server Maureen was perfect
Our server, josh, was AMAZING!!!!! Will definitely be going back!! Food was delicious!!! Loved the overall experience!
Hostess did not make us feel welcome. Server was great so that balanced out the overall service. Food was good but not exciting. Cocktails were fair. Bartender was very friendly but he didn’t use the ingredient on the menu, replacing it with Ameretto. Will try pizza if we go again.
As always another fantastic meal. General manager Mr. Hamada is always a delight to see as well as all the staff are as pleasant as they can be. Wonderful food and beautiful atmosphere.
The only complaint I have is the lighting is terrible. I’ve mentioned this every time I’ve been there which is five times I believe. You can’t read the menu unless you in the chair under the light. Otherwise I and others had to use the flashlight on my eye phone. Please fix it.
Thank you
Pat Hammond
Great food and great Service!! Our waitress was Mo and she was incredible..Ask for her and you will have an excellent time
We dined on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, arriving just before 6PM. Seating was prompt but the service went downhill quickly thereafter.
The wait staff was overly bothering. Someone was at our table taking a plate, filling water glasses, rushing to grab used utensils not less than 15 times during our dining. It became near impossible to have a conversation at our dinner table because we were interrupted so often. The interruption wasn't discrete; it was full reach across the table, grab your plate as soon as the last bite was eaten, invasion.
The Management strongly needs to train their staff on how NOT to be intrusive by sending their staff to training at places that get the service level right --- Morton's, Ruth Chris, etc.
The pasta courses were good but not great. Taste was good but salt level was more than I like.
It would be difficult to recommend Grassa Gramma as there are many other places to eat in Louisville that do a better job with service.
Food was flavorful and service was outstanding. The noise level was unappealing and the reception desk seemed disorganized.
Value of the meal was very good.
The service was outstanding.
Loved it
This is like the fourth time we were there
Been great every time
Horrible and not anything close to what we expected. Same owner as two other restaurants we visit often and like a lot. The server was like a used car salesperson trying to up sell constantly. It’s already overpriced, so no need to keep pushing side items, wine, and desserts. Tables are also tiny and there’s no room for plates and glasses or anything else. Really disappointed and bad experience - we won’t be back!
Next level service & ambience. Food was just as good. If you want a special experience skip all other restaurants!!!
Birthday celebration
Thought birthday girl would get a birthday dessert. The birthday was recognized verbally but no special treat
Server was superb. He saved the evening experience
Veal chop was over cooked. Hard to cut & very dry.
Loud. Hard to talk.
I have visited several times and this dinner was a disappointment
One of the best restaurants in town in every respect!
Beautiful place, great food, wonderful service
Great venue. Excellent service and food. Took awhile to be seated with reservation
We were celebrating my son’s 14th birthday! Everyone made it very special for him!
Great food great service and the decor makes you fill like your in Italy.
