Had a great time with family. Definitely try the sakanagi cheese. The cocktails were amazing and so was the paella. Awesome experience.
This was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had! It started off wonderfully as I had put in my reservation notes that it was a special occasion and was seated in a great spot by the window. Our server, Mikayla, was absolutely WONDERFUL. She was so welcoming, kind, knowledgeable about the menu, and was just all around delightful. And yes, the food was amazing. I am looking forward to my next visit to Grappa!
The staff were very helpful and gracious, which is amazing, since I know that restaurant workers are stressed these days.
This is a neighborhood gem with good food and good service.
Dinner was Awesome! Waiter gave outstanding menu recommendations for food and wine. I had the roasted chicken / mashed potatoes. It takes 35 minutes to make but it’s worth the wait. It was so good!
First time dining here, but definitely not the last. On a dreary cold seattle evening the warm welcoming ambiance + the delicious handmade pasta made for a perfect evening.
The foods were good, bu the noise was too much and it spoiled our mood.
We shared a few small plates - roasted tomatoes and burrata, brussels sprouts with bacon and brie, and the asparagus - all delicious. then we each ordered a pasta. The carbonara was amazing - especially with the added foraged mushrooms. Nice size portions. Bottle of Italian wine :-)
Everything was great the only thing we were disappointed about was that the grilled octopus wasn’t available and that was what we were really excited to try there but guess that means we’ll just have to come back. Great food and great service. Happy to have spent our anniversary dinner there.
I have had many great meals at Grappa but yesterday was disappointing 😢They were out of octopus and the soup was watery, the service slow and the selection of white wines by the glass disappointing also. Was it because it was a Monday?
We had a wonderful time at Grappa! Very cozy and great atmosphere for date night, albeit pretty noisy. The servers were very friendly and attentive. The food was all excellent. Highly recommend!
Food and grappa was delicious
My group loved their meals and the appetizers and wine were great. Paella - not the best rice seemed old and dry a bit too much seasoning but the seafood in it was delish
We really appreciate this neighborhood gem. They are consistent and the service is always really good.
The food here is a little overpriced in my opinion. Portion sizes are small and the flavors didn't blow me away by any means. Same can be said for the cocktails (I had the House Negroni but tried sips of the El Diablo and Americano Cocktail and none of them were that great). If you're in the area and looking for excellent food and cocktails (along with portion sizes that'll actually fill you up), I'd highly recommend How to Cook a Wolf right next door.
What a fantastic dinner! Everything was so awesome and so many other items I can’t wait to get back for. Highly recommend Grappa for any occasion and definitely try one of the Grappa cocktails.
I chose standard seating but they received outdoor seating. We waited 20mins to get a bar seat.
Other than this, everything is perfect
Amazing food, service and atmosphere!
Sadly, we had to get up and walk out after being ignored for 30 mins (I was there even longer) without even being asked what we wanted to drink. They were fairly busy, but our waitress came to the table once to drop off the menu and then never returned. We were left with no choice but to finally walk.
I’ve been there before but this was my friends first time, I don’t think my friend will ever give Grappa a chance. This was a really poor experience!
Fun atmosphere, great food and they were busy and short staffed but still good service and a wonderful experience!
Our first time to Grappa, but it will not be our last!! Absolutely wonderful....don't miss the octopus , bisque, or this yummy sheep cheese appetizer that is flamed at your table. Wonderful cocktails too....I can hardly wait to return!
The octopus was cooked absolutely perfectly and that is not always the case!
Great food and service.
Really nice neighborhood restaurant with very friendly staff. The crab bisque was out of this world but the lasagna and carbonara left much to be desired. Tiramisu was average.
We frequent montalcinos in Issaquah and we're hoping for that level of Italian.
Great place! Great food and ambience, great service, not too noisy.
Grappa is very tasty Mediterranean food. I have eaten there twice and enjoyed it. I particularly liked the Brussels Sprouts with bacon on the appetizer menu. Enjoyed the lemon chicken, but I have had better (defunct Greek restaurant on Potrero Hill in San Francisco, heavy competition). It was pricy for chicken. Billed as a half chicken, but must've been a very small chicken.
First time to Grappa. Exceptional service and food. Dessert wasn’t quite as good as appetizer and main course. Overall great experience. Will be going back.
Best spot in the whole city! A weekly love for me!
Great food great service! Kinda chilly inside because the door was kept open. We brought my mother to lunch and it was difficult for us to converse because the acoustics caused the high level of noise.
Great Restaurant and food. Service was solid with good recommendations, but you could tell the servers were new. 10/10 will go again.
Excellent food and service. I can't want to go back again!
Happening place, great staff, food was good but not great.
Fantastic service. Tessa was extremely attentive and pleasant. One of my dining companions wanted a dish that had previously been on the menu, but was not the evening we recently dined. The chef was able to accommodate us, which is extraordinarily unusual and appreciated. Overall a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.
Great experience at Grappa to kick off Seattle Restaurant Week! Do not leave without trying the grilled octopus, so hard to cook right and it was absolutely perfect, so wonderfully tender!
Great dinner! Loved the food and atmosphere.
We came to celebrate my birthday and for SRW. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. We appreciated the kindness and enthusiasm to which our servers played a significant part in our experience. Well done!
Amazing experience. Love the drinks, the food the whole experience
Amazing food - lovely service ! The Saganaki was to die for !
Great menu—Best risotto in the city hands down. Fun and comfortable atmosphere. Great service
