We liked everything about our dining experience at Grappa. The food was excellent—probably the best gnocchi I've ever had, and the other dishes ordered were apparently wonderful. The bread pudding (enough to share) was delicious. Outside seating is quieter than indoors and very comfortable. We will go again.

We visited Grappa for Mother’s Day brunch. We had previously eaten here for dinner and it was phenomenal, so our expectations were high. Unfortunately, the brunch menu didn’t quite live up to that same standard. The breakfast items were good, but nothing special and a bit small for the prices. However, the ambiance was lovely as always and the interior of the restaurant is so beautiful! Service was good as well, if a bit slow (expected for Mother’s Day). I would highly recommend Grappa for dinner, but not so much for brunch.

This writer and spouse have dined at Grappa for the last several years a number of times. The service decidedly has declined. They either don't have enough staff or management has set too low a bar. The food is good though the grilled chicken w/ salad not up to snuff taste wise. Still we consider Grappa's food generally good and well above average. We will go back but be more prepared especially in regard to service level.

This was my first time eating at Grappa and I really enjoyed the experience. It's a small venue but everything was nicely situated. The staff are very attentive to your needs, and want you to have a great experience during your visit. I highly recommend this establishment based on my above remarks, and also because of its location to McCaw Hall. I'll definitely return.

We were immediately waited on upon seating ,server was excellent recommending choices of drinks and wine and going over any menu questions We ordered the cheese and meat tray for an appetizer and the halibut for the main course . All were delicious ! We ended our dinner with the chocolate chip bread pudding with caramel and vanilla sorbet and it was scrumptious! We definitely will be back.

Overall good, I love Grappa but tonight the service was slower than usual (10 minute to get seated even with no line and Reservations and 15 minutes for someone to take a drink order) the fish and scallops were cooked perfectly but the pasta was wayyyy under cooked to where the spaghetti was crunchy. The lightening is so dim I couldn’t read the menu or see what was in my food, I’m 40 but this isn’t old age it’s very dark! A candle or small lamp at the table would be great
