About Grappa Italian Restaurant
Nestled at the top of Historic Main Street, every detail of a rustic, Italian country farmhouse gives Grappa its romantic atmosphere, down to the terrazzo tile, rough sewn wooden beams, and grapevine motif. The menu reflects a more refined and sophisticated approach to food.

Grappa Italian Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
We had a cozy table in the front window. Our server was very responsive. My friend was a little frustrated that it took 30 minutes for the bread to be served, since her whole meal was soup and salad. I had the pork chop. The pork came from Bill White Farms, so it was fresh, local and tasty. The dish was a little over salted, but still good.
Food was below average for fine dining , price was to high for quality of food. I would suggest to the management least they should do is to offer a free desert on valentines evening when they charge $70 per person for three course meal. Their signature dish Osso Bucco is really not that good.
To be honest, for one of the most highly rated restaurants in Park City, we thought our food was mediocre, and our server was less than attentive. We split the bill (two couples), but they brought the check back incorrectly. The server took it back, then took forever to bring it back to the table, which would have been fine, but she sort of tossed it on the table with no apology. Not the greatest experience.
Food was very good, but way over priced. Service was excellent and attentive, but we were an early seating and felt quite rushed like they wanted to clear our table for another seating. One of the two seats at the table was in a walkway with lots of traffic.
The food was amazing! We went to a bunch of great restaurants while visiting Park City, and this was our favorite. They give you generous portion sizes. The flavors of each dish was wonderful. The interior was super cozy and had an upscale atmosphere with beautiful scenery of the downtown area. Loved everything about it. We will definitely come back on our next ski trip.
This restaurant is very cool inside. The building and dining rooms are beautiful. The menu has some great selections BUT.... we ordered the fondue to start. It was way way too watery. Cheese fondue is supposed to be thicker. We ordered the veal Osso Bucco and the duck. The veal was good. The duck not so much. Dry small leg. Now the worst part. Dinner cost $200 and we were there
For one hour. One hour that’s it. We were rushed from start to finish. We ordered and our food was in front of ya in 2 minutes and we were pushed out the door.
Grappa is in a magnificent and beautifully decorated space. The service is superb , attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. The food is outstanding, fresh healthy delicious and prepared beautifully. We always look forward to dining here when we visit PC
We were told they only offered price fix menu of $85 per person because of Sundance. We were a party of 6 adults and 2 kids. We had to buy everyone the $85 dinner. Ended up taking 70% of the food home and throwing out because we are staying at a hotel. Total tourist trap and bad business. Tab was over $800. Open table said they only had a table for us at 5:15. Meanwhile more than half the place was empty when we left.
This is a lovely little restaurant slightly away from all the other Park City Main Street restaurants. They are only open for dinner but, maybe someday that will change. It would be nice to have a lunchtime option. The prix fixe menu is a little pricey for spaghetti but, that's what my son liked and seems was his only option. He liked it. The balsamic they serve with the bread is amazing!! You can put that on everything. The grilled olives were delish. The Branzino was a little lacking in flavor but, the balsamic helped with that. The tira misu was very good and a complimentary treat for my birthday. They were very gracious in holding our reservation when we ran a bit late running up the hill to get there during the Sundance film festival rush. Our waiter was the best and I tipped him accordingly. He resembles Ray Donovan. The wine list needs a few more by the glass options for your more deep dark wines like Syrah or a blend but, overall the wine and the food were very good. I would go back.
Excellent food and service. The prix fixe menu during Sundance included delicious options. My favorites were the beet salad (on the small side but bursting with flavor) and the osso buco. The Osso buco was falling of the bone and covered in a thick, flavorful wine reduction.
Our server was attentive, we never waited with an empty glass!
It is unfortunate we dined here during Sundance. There was a fixed menu and couple of us a the table had ordered the fillets. The steaks came out burned on the outside and raw on the inside, literally cold on the inside.
We did send one of the steaks back and they did come back with a new one at the right temp. However, that was a rookie mistake by the chef cooking on too high of a flame.
The lobster rav and mushroom soup starters were excellent.
The restaurant is quite lovely and we will try again, just not at Sundance.
Good experience. Last minute find on OPEN TABLE. Big festival in Park City Utah and the app made it so easy to find a table for one.
My only issue was that it was a smaller menu
Due to the festival but they still had great selections. The filet was cooked perfectly. The bread the bring you is excellent and the sauce/spread for it is amazing. I almost had to much.
Great service as well.
I love Grappas, service is always great. We had a group of eight, and the table was very tight. Unfortunately one of our guests said the chicken cacciatore was overly salty. The flatbreads were very tasty, seafood medley was fantastic and the squash ravioli was delicious. The beet salad was also fabulous. Great drinks, great food -I can’t wait to return.
Second time dining at Grappa's, and was not disappointed on the return trip! I love the interior of this restaurant; warm and inviting with a lot of wood and well placed antiques. An extremely knowable waiter took care of all our needs during the evening. We started off the meal with three bowl of Grappa's Mushroom Soup, a smooth wild mushroom purée, garden chives, with white truffle oil. Next, my wife and daughter enjoyed the Roasted Whole Branzino served with roasted cauliflower, preserved lemon, fennel butter, romesco, and marcona almonds, and I had the Seafood Fra Diavolo with maine lobster tail, wild shrimp, black mussels, smoked chorizo, house-made linguini, and spicy pomodoro. Service was attentive and prompt but not in your face. It was a lovely evening and we will definitely return.
We read a few good reviews and selected this restaurant over others in the area. It was packed the night we went. It was generally good, but I would not say it was amazing, especially for the price. Two of us had the beef bolognese; it was a fairly small portion and the bolognese sauce was not very saucy and not very meaty. Pretty disappointing considering it was nearly $30/plate. The other 2 entrees were good - a chop and canneloni. The menu had a nice variety to choose from, but it was more expensive then we were expecting; i.e. $48 and $50 steaks for example.
Otherwise, the restaurant is really cozy and the atmosphere was nice. Cool old building which we enjoyed looking at the mix of old and new architecture.
Great restaurant food is always good we go every year and every year we wind up waiting at least 20 mins after our reservation time for the table. Why take resverations if they are not honored in a timely fashion. The hostess was rather young and not sure she knew how to manage tables we where a six top and the whole time there was an open six top opposite the hostess stand. Other then that always a good meal just respect for people’s tome could be better.
