Welcome to Grapevine. We are situated in the heart of Dalkey, offering a full food and wine menu 5 days a week from 12 noon. Our generous terrace is ideal for outdoor dining, and we have 2 levels indoors as well. As you enter, you arrive in the fantastic wine shop with over 500 wines with seating at the back of the wine shop. Upstairs, at mezzanine level, we have a cosy space as well as a room for private dining. We are wine specialists, and because we import many wines directly, we have probably the best value wine list in the country.

Lovely place with great food and wine. And also amazing cocktails - the espresso martinis were fabulous! Staff very attentive and looked after us so well. Will definitely be back.

Nice place with good atmosphere. Overall it was enjoyable but thought the steak with the surf ‘n turf was poor quality. Might be an attempt to keep the cost down but would be better if there was an option for a better quality steak. Staff were very good and ok value

Had had 1/3 of my main and asked to take it home when the server picked up the plate. When asked for the same with the dessert and to be added to the same bag with the main, they came to tell me that they had thrown away the main. They could cook one over but I’ll need to be back in 20-25 minutes to collect it. Didn’t even offer to take anything off the bill as apology (like sparkling water or the cup of tea). My friend’s tea arrived 20 minutes after it was ordered, and told then that we need to free the table in 3 minutes. Overall the place is nice but would not recommend as the service was disappointing.

Never disappoints, always a sure bet, great food, excellent choice of wine with beer on tap including a magic pint of Guinness . Enough said. Enjoy
