Granville - West Hollywood
GRANVILLE supports local, organic and certified humane practices whenever possible and makes it's food from scratch daily offering lunch, dinner, happy hour, weekend brunch, and full bar in a casual yet tasteful environment. Great spot for any occasion. Come as you are!
Food was very good! Cocktails were ok at best! The service was disappointing and leaves room for improvement.
It was just really loud but everything else was perfect
The waitress was very nice but clueless. I ordered a side salad plain no dairy with vinegarette and I received a salad with cheese on top. When a new salad returned it had nothing on it but plain romaine and no dressing. When I asked for a vinegarette, the bus boy brought me Caesar dressing (mind you after I had explained I cannot eat anything with cheese or milk). When the waitress returned she kindly brought me a vegan dressing (not oil and vinegar) and it was awful. Really. I’m open to vegan but it was raw garlic taste with raspberry flavor! A really awful combo! When I ate the one bite and let her know the dressing was awful. She offered nothing.
Bruce was outstanding
Velsen was outstanding
Our guest arrive before us. She placed an appetizer order. When we arrived waiters just looked at us and walk by. We had to ask for assistance at least 4 times. When I told him what we had time restraints would it be possible to get our food soon, they said it was up next. The waiter did not place my order. I had not eaten all day, and had to leave.
Not a good experience for the 1st time being there
Granville is always a pleasure! Food, service and ambiance all excellent. And, they make a mean Bloody Mary!
Food was a little bland. My vegan chilaquiles were basically a pile of chips and some veggies. Drinks, service, and ambience were all great
Excellent service and tasty food. We tried the chicken and fish dishes. Hummus appetizer was terrific with the flatbread. Very attentive service. We'll be back!
I would recommend it. My tip is sit outside, it's quieter - and get the excellent Brendan as your server!
Velson is very courteous and friendly. He made us feel at home.
Service was great. Food was delicious. Love the ambiance.
Great food and service! Always enjoy coming here and love the lighting and ambience. Highly recommend.
This is my second time coming here and I enjoyed it as much as the first. My friend took me here because she loves it so I also brought a friend to come with me this time around. The food was delicious. The aesthetics and ambiance is nice. Our server was kind but slightly forgetful.
A great casual atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff and good food. DineLA lunch both delicious and an exceptional deal!
They were having a VERY bad night - service as if we were bothering our waiter, one of our party had an issue with their meal (NOT the restaurant or waiter's fault - just a food allergy), but then they just forgot to redo the meal, and when we reminded the waiter, he acted as if we were harshing his mellow...
We are big fans of Granville, have been there many many times, and this is the 1st time we've had a rough time, but it certainly was a poor showing.
First time at the Granville and it exceeded expectations. My date got something really simple like the Chicken Noodle Soup, but that dish was amazing! Best soup in the city.
A nearly empty restaurant on a Sunday and it took over thirty minutes to get water (water was refilled only once in the two hour span we were forced to wait and only after my party asked). We weren't given any utensils/napkins until we asked for them after waiting an hour and a half for our meal. Lukewarm appetizer, tasteless food (asked for steak sauce to help and was promptly forgotten about again, one of my party members received a terrible steak), ran out of one of the two dessert options, and completely forgotten service. Fortunately for the staff, my party and I aren't rude enough to start a fuss so we only tipped 15% and left. Would never come back again or ever recommend this place to anyone. I've been to DineLA multiple times and this has got to be the worst experience I've had.
Great restaurant amazing food, will definitely go back I’ve told several people about this restaurant.
While enjoying our meal and chatting between courses the general manager came to our table and apologized for the delay of our main course and comped our meal!! All staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we had a lovely meal and experience. We will definitely return!
We came for the DineLA lunch and to our surprise the staff did not provide us with the DineLA menu and when asked for it they actually discouraged us from doing it. We were told it will be at least an hour of wrong and it felt like they made sure it was. Overall the food was great but the service was lacking.
We went to Granville-weho for dine La week. We were seated almost immediately at a nice table by the window. The design of the restaurant is ultra modern and with nice sleek designer touches throughout . We ordered the Asian salad & squash soup to start. Both were delicious. We chose to share the seared Ahi & the branzino fillet for our entrees. They were moist, delicious and filling. The desserts were shared as well. The flourless chocolate cake was good. The chill ponzu was just ok. The server was beyond exceptional. She was very helpful with suggestions & very attentive. All in all a great experience.
This was our first time, while on a drive up to Hollywood for the day. Another visit will be high on our list next time we're in the area, but we'd also love to see them open up down here in San Diego. The spicy chicken pasta and Poke bowls were both excellent, along with the lettuce wrap appetizer.
Best salads in town, service is exceptional and comfortable for a relaxing meal.
The salmon came on mashed potatoes and had no vegetables. The beef stroganoff came with very little beef. However, when we raised a concern with the waiter, he brought out another serving of beef and sauce.
Service and food outstanding
Nice atmosphere - casual yet upscale. Food satisfaction was mixed. Roast chicken with mashed potatoes and tomato salad was excellent; vegetarian risotto was inedible — chewy, oily, dark brown, weird tasting. Thankfully that item was taken off the bill after we commented on it. Wine & cocktails were ok. Service was pleasant and knowledgeable but slow — drink order took a very long time even though the restaurant. The mashed potatoes were the star - I’d go back just for a plate of those.
Lo, our beautiful server, made our experience great!
Food was great.
It’s hard for me to write this review as I usually have nothing but positive reviews/experiences at this location & Studio City. I decided to come for dinner for the 1st time with my wife since I’m a frequent lunch customer being I work across the street every other week. Now, I usually leave happy but last night was a disappointing experience. Service- not the best I’ve experienced and the server seemed very disconnected to us and made us wonder if he even wanted to help us. After long wait to order drinks, they took awhile to come out but not mad about that since they are handcrafted but even to comeback to. Take our order was forever. Food- I ordered the skirt steak since recommended it and was aware I always order the salmon but it was delivered cold and they forgot to bring the sauce it comes with. That took over 10 mins to get to me so cold steak even colder. The broccollini was served cold as well and that usually is delivered hot. My wife order my usual salmon dish and the taste was identical to my lunch visits but the sides requested the corn & broccolini were both cold. The first impression is to say something but he never came back to check on us and when he dropped the sauce finally it was on table and he was gone before we knew it. I will say I enjoyed the dessert sampler we ordered and he drinks were good but overall this visit left us with a negative experience and didn’t help we had out of town
friends visiting and this is where we choose to go for dinner.
Nothing to write home about.
Was celebrating freedom- pride 🏳️🌈 festivities- had a great time here. We got seated right away, sangria was delicious, we got sweet potatoes fries, salad, skirt steak and salmon .. appetizer came quickly, entrees took longer due to the busy day but it was worth the wait.
Nick waited our table and Made very good recommendations, Alison who’s the manager I believe took care of us and changed my experience from the first time. So, this was a win win situation and we’d be back for sure.
Terrible cold food
Very attentive waitress. Excellent.
Ordered a chicken chipotle sandwich. Ordered it without bacon. And it came with bacon. My friend ordered a sandwich with a side salad with side of ranch. The ranch never came. Felt like the waiter was not listening to us when we spoke to him. Restaurant did not seem busy either
Skirt stake was ok but not great and for $30 is bit to much. For that kind of quality and size it should be no more than $25.00
Service was a bit slow and not very attentive, and as a party of 5 with a reservation we were sat at a 4 top with a chair at the end which was not very comfortable. Wasn't packed so we could have been sat better. Food was great as usual.
Very friendly service. Nice brunch selection. Large space with plenty of seating. Would happily go back.
The staff was very patient and accommodating. The new york steak was perfection! The only critique was the chocolate cake, which had too much salt. The flavors didn't balance well.
