Granville - West Hollywood
GRANVILLE supports local, organic and certified humane practices whenever possible and makes it's food from scratch daily offering lunch, dinner, happy hour, weekend brunch, and full bar in a casual yet tasteful environment. Great spot for any occasion. Come as you are!
While enjoying our meal and chatting between courses the general manager came to our table and apologized for the delay of our main course and comped our meal!! All staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we had a lovely meal and experience. We will definitely return!
We came for the DineLA lunch and to our surprise the staff did not provide us with the DineLA menu and when asked for it they actually discouraged us from doing it. We were told it will be at least an hour of wrong and it felt like they made sure it was. Overall the food was great but the service was lacking.
We went to Granville-weho for dine La week. We were seated almost immediately at a nice table by the window. The design of the restaurant is ultra modern and with nice sleek designer touches throughout . We ordered the Asian salad & squash soup to start. Both were delicious. We chose to share the seared Ahi & the branzino fillet for our entrees. They were moist, delicious and filling. The desserts were shared as well. The flourless chocolate cake was good. The chill ponzu was just ok. The server was beyond exceptional. She was very helpful with suggestions & very attentive. All in all a great experience.
This was our first time, while on a drive up to Hollywood for the day. Another visit will be high on our list next time we're in the area, but we'd also love to see them open up down here in San Diego. The spicy chicken pasta and Poke bowls were both excellent, along with the lettuce wrap appetizer.
Best salads in town, service is exceptional and comfortable for a relaxing meal.
The salmon came on mashed potatoes and had no vegetables. The beef stroganoff came with very little beef. However, when we raised a concern with the waiter, he brought out another serving of beef and sauce.
Service and food outstanding
Nice atmosphere - casual yet upscale. Food satisfaction was mixed. Roast chicken with mashed potatoes and tomato salad was excellent; vegetarian risotto was inedible — chewy, oily, dark brown, weird tasting. Thankfully that item was taken off the bill after we commented on it. Wine & cocktails were ok. Service was pleasant and knowledgeable but slow — drink order took a very long time even though the restaurant. The mashed potatoes were the star - I’d go back just for a plate of those.
Lo, our beautiful server, made our experience great!
Food was great.
It’s hard for me to write this review as I usually have nothing but positive reviews/experiences at this location & Studio City. I decided to come for dinner for the 1st time with my wife since I’m a frequent lunch customer being I work across the street every other week. Now, I usually leave happy but last night was a disappointing experience. Service- not the best I’ve experienced and the server seemed very disconnected to us and made us wonder if he even wanted to help us. After long wait to order drinks, they took awhile to come out but not mad about that since they are handcrafted but even to comeback to. Take our order was forever. Food- I ordered the skirt steak since recommended it and was aware I always order the salmon but it was delivered cold and they forgot to bring the sauce it comes with. That took over 10 mins to get to me so cold steak even colder. The broccollini was served cold as well and that usually is delivered hot. My wife order my usual salmon dish and the taste was identical to my lunch visits but the sides requested the corn & broccolini were both cold. The first impression is to say something but he never came back to check on us and when he dropped the sauce finally it was on table and he was gone before we knew it. I will say I enjoyed the dessert sampler we ordered and he drinks were good but overall this visit left us with a negative experience and didn’t help we had out of town
friends visiting and this is where we choose to go for dinner.
Nothing to write home about.
Was celebrating freedom- pride 🏳️🌈 festivities- had a great time here. We got seated right away, sangria was delicious, we got sweet potatoes fries, salad, skirt steak and salmon .. appetizer came quickly, entrees took longer due to the busy day but it was worth the wait.
Nick waited our table and Made very good recommendations, Alison who’s the manager I believe took care of us and changed my experience from the first time. So, this was a win win situation and we’d be back for sure.
Terrible cold food
Very attentive waitress. Excellent.
Ordered a chicken chipotle sandwich. Ordered it without bacon. And it came with bacon. My friend ordered a sandwich with a side salad with side of ranch. The ranch never came. Felt like the waiter was not listening to us when we spoke to him. Restaurant did not seem busy either
Skirt stake was ok but not great and for $30 is bit to much. For that kind of quality and size it should be no more than $25.00
Service was a bit slow and not very attentive, and as a party of 5 with a reservation we were sat at a 4 top with a chair at the end which was not very comfortable. Wasn't packed so we could have been sat better. Food was great as usual.
Very friendly service. Nice brunch selection. Large space with plenty of seating. Would happily go back.
The staff was very patient and accommodating. The new york steak was perfection! The only critique was the chocolate cake, which had too much salt. The flavors didn't balance well.
It’s perfect date night, brunch, an everyday meal, and lunch.
Great food and beautiful atmosphere, but service was next to terrible.
We loved it! Great place to have dinner with friends and have a good time. Serers are awesome!
Love the ambiance, our waiter is amazing and great food!
Great place to eat - ahi is stand out dish.
I took a friend to Granville -West Hollywood to celebrate his birthday, and he loved it. The food was great, and the service, friendly and attentive. They were kind enough to bring a complimentary birthday dessert to the table, which we appreciated.
I am very happy with this location.
The menu is great with lots of choices.
Our server was so helpful with any questions people had.
The food was yummy.
Velson was outstanding
It was amazing! Food was phenomenal. Our server was so helpful and kind. I loved his opinion and honesty.
I want to like Granville, but there were some misses--when we sat down, multiple plates/dishes on our table were dirty. Also, the steak on my salad was definitely medium-well not medium rare.
I’ve been going to this location since the day it opened and the staff has been exceptional. Now with Damon managing it continues to run like a well oiled machine.
Meh. Hostess couldn’t be bothered. Despite restaurant being more than half empty, she led us to a lame table and when we asked to change she took us to an even worse table where we were forgotten by waitstaff. Food was ok, but not destination worthy.
My Father’s Birthday
This place is superb, with many different spaces to create different moods for your meal.
One constant is the food - it’s superb and very good value for the quality.
Our experience didn’t get off to a great start being seated next to a family with children that clearly didn’t want to be there and vocalized it in an ear piercing symphony. We didn’t want to be those people to disapprove but we were on our last night before flying home to Australia. We politely asked if we could move, which was no problem as there were plenty of vacant tables so I’m not sure why they seated us there in the first place. The food was good and overall we would recommend.
I really love the food at Granville. Service is hit or miss. There are some fantastic servers there and some pretty horrible servers there. The food though...it is amazing. Drinks are also amazing. Everything is priced very reasonably for the area.
Food was great but I do not like when I ask for a Vodka Gimlet, they bring me in a regular glass instead of a martini glass. The ambience is ok, though I would have prefer with more character. If it wasn't that I was invited there, I would have not gone there. All in all is was good.
Not a big fan of the look of the restaurant or it’s seating. Our food was good especially the sweet potato fries, it would have been better if it were warmer. Our waiter whose name I believe was Brandon was nice but never asked if we wanted drink refills. While I’m on the subject of their drinks their soda isn’t good. Give me a good old fashioned Coke instead.
